But cheap ends up being expensive, it's a crappy hosting that deceives you with the price, but then this hosting is American, meaning from the USA, so as a good American it is, it restricts things and doesn't explain anything, it takes your personal data and enters your hosting to see what content you have and wants to know what you are going to use the domains for. WHAT???. It's a lack of freedom. **What do you dislike about Hostinger?** Hostinger has a constant censorship policy, they censor you for everything, they enter your hosting and look at your content and they decide if you can buy a domain or not. According to their policy, if there are words that they consider bad, they don't let you buy the domain but they charge you for it, and when you complain, they tell you that the money will be refunded in 12 days. They charged me for the domain immediately, they didn't have to wait 12 days to charge my card. If they don't want to sell that domain, then they should say from the beginning that they don't allow buying that domain. **What problems is Hostinger solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is the only Hosting that decides which domains you can buy or not for your company. You do not have the freedom to buy any domain; you have to explain why you are buying that domain and send personal data of your company to purchase a domain. If I have registered the domain in my name, why do they need my company's personal data? If you do not provide that personal data of your company, you cannot buy that domain. I have been working with Hostinger for 5 years and always recommend it to my clients, but I will no longer recommend it. I don't have to explain to anyone why I want that domain and what I am going to do with it. That is called PRIVACY. And then I ask for a refund, and they tell me that they won't return the money for up to 12 days, that they knew from the beginning that that domain would not be uploaded to my hosting. CS: I've had good experiences with them: They don't reply immediately, but the chat gets saved and you can go back to earlier conversations. So you can ask your question, continue working on what you can and once they finally answer you can have a quick chat. Always very friendly. Site builder: I'm no site builer-reviewer, so idk if this is something special, but this one is very nice. You don't need to know anything about building sites because the UI is very intuitive to use. And if you don't know something, they got a detailed tutorial on everything (text & video) Also the price was very good: I paid 100 and something for 4 years of hosting, very chill **What do you dislike about Hostinger?** Site builder is sometimes buggy: -Issues with text suddenly becoming misaligned after a month of not touching the site. The AI website builder still needs a lot of work, and I didn't realise using the AI features requires credits - not sure how much these are, as I've opted to write my own content and source copyright free photos from elsewhere. But for me Cloudflair is a useless service and when I had issues with their SSL I had to change my NS to Hostinger. BTW the new 'do-it-yourself' free SSL on hostinger is a breeze. Anyway I had problems migrating my NS and SSL to hostinger. Because of some timing issues - this happened while migrating my hosting IP to a New York server - some settings were wrong.
