One of its best advantages of it's usability, it can be used with vanilla js by importing it in HTML, and you can also use it in server-side rendering using node js, which is one of the popular server-side runtime nowadays. so you can generate highlighted syntax from the server itself to pass onto front end. It generally highlights code and syntax as required by the user. It also has support for frontend frameworks like React js and Vue Js and uses ES6 standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of disadvantages is that it doesn't have great documentation to work with and doesn't have enough examples present in its documentation website. This makes new developers understand the application not very well and they generally discourage the libraries with poor documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
