"Never ending support"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

Hero Devs does an excellent job of identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in development frameworks that have otherwise gone end of life. This enables us to migrate to a new framework in our own time frame rather than having to disrupt our development plans to migrate when a third party decides to end support. The account management team has also been very supportive and a pleasure to work with. They keep us informed of new offerings and updates to existing offerings and help to tailor a package to meet our unique needs. Implementation of their libraries has been super easy. They drop right in and the additional QA effort required is minimal. They have support for a lot of different frameworks and developer kits, basically a one stop shop for your end of support tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

We would prefer a monthly billing option for cash flow management reasons, but Hero Devs doesn't offer that. Great service though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HeroDevs: Reliable AngularJS Support with Great Value and Responsive Team"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

HeroDevs provides reliable extended support for our AngularJS application, allowing us to maintain security and stability without the pressure of an immediate migration. Their team is responsive and professional, and the service seamlessly integrates into our development workflow. It's been a cost-effective solution that gives us peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

There's not much to dislike about the service. The pricing could be more flexible for smaller teams, but the value provided justifies the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HeroDevs bring renewed life to legacy code"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

The support staff at HeroDevs are very professional and well organized. They're collaborative partners who will spend extra time trying to understand your specific needs and accommodating your particular use cases. Installation of their software was a breeze and took very little labor time to implement. As a bonus, we received updates for additional software that we were not originally seeking to extend, but are happy to continuing using since it's been included with our core license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

I didn't really perceive any downsides to use HeroDevs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lifesaver"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

The product is highly effective and easy to integrate into a pipeline. The team provides clear communication during calls and offers continuous support after the purchase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

Initially, the documentation was somewhat confusing, but the support team quickly resolved all our questions.

I don't have a dashboard or something similar at the moment, just install the product in the pipeline using a secret key, so i cant provide a screenshot proving the use of the product, and also don't have a place to manage my subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless use and upgrades"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

I think it's the easiest way to continue serving existing products that require SLA compliance, like our (my company's) product. It's very nice that it's literally plug and play when adding it to our project once we got the packages, and we didn't even have to touch any other dependency that's relying on the deprecated library we were using.

Customer Support was very responsive and helpful through out the process, from onboarding, to reporting issues, and (soon-to-be) off-boarding process.

We highly appreciate customer support especially for being flexible despite having very different timezones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

There are only two issues we found while using HeroDevs Vue NES:

1. We purchased Vue NES Essentials hoping that we would be able to utilize HeroDevs Vuex, but we found that during implementation, we couldn't use it as it was a different version. We tried to escalate it and was told that they'll consider supporting the version we have, but it couldn't be delivered.

2. There was no official support for deprecated package managers. We were using Yarn 1, and there were some small guides in the help pages, but it didn't work for our setup. We ended up downloading the library so that we could use it, but after that, it was very smooth.

Despite the above, we're still happy with HeroDevs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Experience with HeroDevs - Using Bootstrap and Require.js"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

From the very first point of contact, working with HeroDevs has been an exceptional experience. Their ongoing communication across all levels has consistently met our expectations, and they have always followed through on their commitments.

Our team implemented two of their Never-Ending Support Products across many of our user interfaces for our security products. The option to install EOL Support, rather than undertaking a full internal migration, has saved us significant time, money, and frustration.

While we did encounter some challenges during the initial implementations, the HeroDevs support team was there every step of the way. They provided prompt assistance that helped us resolve issues and continue progressing.

Two years later, we're still utilizing HeroDevs' services and have no plans to switch. We eagerly anticipate exploring more of the support avenues they will offer in the future. I am thrilled to be their customer and would absolutely recommend HeroDevs to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

"Paved the way for a reliable transition to future tech"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

HeroDevs allows us to focus on our customer needs while being able to transition from legacy technology in a planned, secure and consistent pace. Their NES (Never Ending Support) packages has no more or less features than the source thing, but it reliably keep us on the safe side of these packages by delivering outstanding security patches. As drop-in replacement for the source package, integration can't be easier. Customer support is ready to help and it's fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Would recommend HeroDevs for those in need"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

HeroDevs support has been a lifesaver, allowing us to transition technologies more gradually and carefully than we otherwise might have while staying in compliance with our security requirements. Their sales folks are excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

We have had no issues with HeroDevs. The staff, service and support have been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A fantastic service for security risk mitigation!"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

HeroDev's super easy implementation and straightforward pricing model made it a no-brainer partnership. Rather than bumping our roadmap in order to achieve our SLA commitments, we were able to keep our SLA commitments AND develop the competitive features that we needed thanks to HeroDevs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

It's not cheap... but it's a lot cheaper than 4 months of engineering effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Proactive and seamless support for AngularJS"
What do you like best about HeroDevs?

- Proactive communication and CVE mitigation

- Perfect solution for ensuring compliance while we finish migrating our codebase to Vue 3

- HeroDevs provides their extended support versions through a dedicated NPM registry, which streamlined integration with our local development environment, CI/CD pipeline, and CDN distribution.

- Seamless transition from XLTS to HeroDevs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeroDevs?

Nothing to dislike.

The only reason I put 9 out of 10 is because I would advise everyone to review the cost versus migration trade-offs. HeroDevs helps us save time in the short term while we work on migrating and modernising the rest of our codebase. Per frontend developer licensing isn’t ideal for us, and it would be nice to have a per production application pricing option, but having the flexibility to manage our migration timeline and balance our engineering time between migration and new feature development means it’s still well worth the price to us.
