What do you like best about HAProxy?

I liked the stability and low resource consumption, combined with very good performance keeping alive a large number of connections by mobile clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing load balancer"

What do you like best about HAProxy?

The configuration is easy to create even some very complex load balancing rules. We use it to successfully route all of our web traffic to various web server backends, but also use it to filter out bad requests and drop them to protect our back-end from junk connections. What do you like best about HAProxy?

HAProxy has been an invaluable addition to our technology stack, from scaling out capacity for our applications to simplifying disaster recovery operations. From our first uses of the community edition and transitioning to the Enterprise Edition (HAPEE), one of the biggest standouts has been the documentation. The enterprise edition builds upon a great piece of software with tremendous documentation, developers and community support. It adds many additional modules and a dedicated team of account managers, engineers, and support staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HAProxy?

It would have to be the statistics dashboard if forced to pick something to dislike. It's effective at giving you a lot of data at a glance. However, it could use a facelift and a more modern user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HAProxy is the best multi-purpose load balancer on the market"

What do you like best about HAProxy?

I like that HAProxy is:

+) Fast

+) Quite easy to configure once you get used to config syntax and know what you need/want

+) Uses little memory

+) Does not read or write on disk during the run (that's why it's so fast)

+) Powerful stick tables which can be synced between multiple peers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HAProxy?

I'm not too fond of the following:

-) It can take some time to get used to HAProxy's config syntax

-) There are no ACLs for filters (I hope they will add them in later versions)

Thanks for the review. Some filters have had if/unless support added to them such as our ModSecurity and advanced WAF filters. If there is a specific filter where you would like to see ACL support added to, let us know which one and we can look into it.

What do you like best about HAProxy?

It's easy to run. Very stable, also open source and has a aligning features. Still my favorite solution for Loadbalancing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HAProxy?

Debugging isn't that easy. Configurations that run into empty routes are tricky to troubleshoot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love the TCP and HTTP ROUTING FOR HAPROXY ANS EASILY INTEGRATED WITH CONSUL TEMPLATE ... for live service discovery and which is awesome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
