HangerSearch Reviews & Product Details

HangerSearch is a similarity search platform designed to help engineering teams locate relevant prior cases within large PDF archives. The software delivers a curated shortlist of four to five highly relevant results with exact page-level pointers. It identifies precedents by understanding case similarity rather than matching exact words, which allows it to find relevant cases even when different terminology or nicknames appear across reports. The platform operates through a three-step workflow. Teams connect existing PDF archives without requiring data migration, conduct searches with transparent term-driven results, and review matched cases with clear explanations. HangerSearch displays ranking reasons for each match, maintaining user control throughout the search process. The software offers cloud-based deployment with flexible billing options or on-premise installation. PDFs remain in user storage while the system indexes only extracted text to maintain data security.
