I have access to all the problems, independent of my level of experience on the platform. So, if I am a new user, but already have experience with problem solving, I can skip to harder problems. I can submit the solutions to see the testing set failing, and unlock the test case to analyze the code. I can read about the best solution on the platform itself, and follow the thread of comments of a specific problem. The gamification and certificates are nice as well. The job page offers jobs for US citizens only, which I am not. Despite using HackerRank for some time, I have never received a message from any company that saw my profile.
