"Accurate, Confidence-Boosting Heating & Heat Pump System Design"
5/5
What do you like best about h2x?

What I like best about H2X is the level of accuracy and confidence it gives you when designing heating and heat pump systems. The platform makes it easy to produce detailed, reliable system designs while taking into account all the important calculations and requirements.

Having that level of accuracy takes a lot of the guesswork out of the design process and gives you confidence that the system you’re specifying is correctly sized and designed for the property. It also makes the whole process much more efficient and professional from start to finish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about h2x?

There really isn’t much to dislike about H2X. The only thing I’d mention is that there’s naturally a bit of a learning curve when you first start using the platform, simply because of the level of detail and functionality it offers. That can’t really be helped with software designed to produce accurate and detailed system designs, and once you get familiar with it, it becomes very straightforward and efficient to use. "The best tool for teaching plumbers about water service design."
5/5
What do you like best about h2x?

The UI is quick to learn. The calculation methods cover what we need for water service design. The 3D mode is invaluable for confirming modelling accuracy. As a lecturer in water service plumbing design, H2X have been VERY supportive across the years. If you want to run the best plumbing design training - talk to H2X. What do you dislike about h2x?

I don't like the water heaters auto-sizing their physical dimensions by default. You need to manually set dimensions prior to resulting to avoid this - not a major problem, just creates a mess for new users who forget to set the sizes manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"In-Depth Pipework Modelling with a Handy 3D View and Plan Overlays"
4.5/5
What do you like best about h2x?

Modelling pipework and pump duties for each job. I like the 3D view to sense check. The overlay integration feature is handy for when you have architects plans. This software has saved a project from a poor first fix and potential install nightmare. We were brought into a project halfway through after a certain manufacturers "approved external design firm" spec'd pipework incorrectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about h2x?

It's not something I can do on site like competing software but mainly due to this being so in depth in comparison. I have been using competitors software on site for data collection and placements then transferring over to this if necessary. I don't use magic plan and neither do my surveyors, this adds cost to their job.

I would prefer more preset ASHP and cylinder details like other software I have previously used but I understand this is used for many differing technologies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Radiator & Underfloor Designs That Boost Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about h2x?

It’s ideal for radiator and underfloor designs in both new-build and retrofit applications. This software has made our process more efficient and, importantly, it produces more accurate designs, providing data such as flow rates and pressure drops that we can share with our installers. What do you dislike about h2x?

Our internet can drop speeds occasionally which effects web based services such as H2X Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Quick Support, Needs Module Improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about h2x?

I like h2x because it allows me to bring everything in-house, which is a huge benefit. The ease of use is fantastic and really helps streamline my work with underfloor heating design, heat loss calculations, and heat pump design work. The customer support stands out for being very quick and responsive. It's crucial to have good backup support to help reach competency with any software, and h2x provides that effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about h2x?

Certain modules in h2x are a little under-developed, and I have to deploy work-arounds, which makes backup support crucial. Specifically, the underfloor heating room partitioning isn't as advanced as other specialist software, especially when it comes to rendering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Flexible, and verry Easy to Use—A Real Time-Saver"
5/5
What do you like best about h2x?

It’s simple and easy to use. The software isn’t overly fussy about extreme precision, and that flexibility saves me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about h2x?

Still needs a few bits polished and a few UI changes to make it easer for navigation but these are in the development pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Heat Loss & Underfloor Heating Design That Works a Charm"
5/5
What do you like best about h2x?

It’s easy to pull plans through from architects and use them to design the full property heat loss and underfloor heating layout, and the overall design work comes together smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about h2x?

Honestly, nothing to complain about—it works a charm. If I had to be critical, I’d like to be able to see a full list of the billing materials produced for me. That said, this may simply be a feature I haven’t found yet, and it may well already be there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and User-Friendly, But Can Be Slow"
4/5
What do you like best about h2x?

I find h2x to be very up-to-date and user-friendly, which saves a lot of time compared to traditional heating design methods. I also like how friendly and accessible the team is when needed. The versatility of the software is great because it allows me to design without any restrictions, accommodating different design needs. The initial setup was easy; it just took some time to get used to the controls, but from there it was great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about h2x?

I find the software can be slow to use, which could be due to server issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
