What do you like best about Guidejar?

To be honest I was amazed by all the customization available, I checked different similar 'step-by-step' builders, but not of the offered half the customization as GuideJar, specially on the configuration post-recording, as you can select specific view for your: 'Step-by-step guide' and at the same time, change the look on the 'Interactive walkthrough' options, finally, the exporting options were amazing, the ability to just 'copy and paste' the guide with the steps and images into a Doc or Word document was amazing. What do you dislike about Guidejar?

I was not so happy to find out I had less credits than expected, it would be better to warn of any actions that could waste credits before committing, for now, any QA generation does not provide with this warning like when you want to 'voice-over', in this last action, it does show how many current credits are going to be used for using this functionality previous to executing. "Pure Enthusiasm: Guidejar Revolutionizes Our Customer Instructions!"
What do you like best about Guidejar?

We've long been searching for a better solution for individual customer inquiries. Previously, we relied on videos, but the downside was obvious: customers constantly had to rewind and fast-forward to follow along at their own pace. This was neither efficient nor truly customer-friendly. We wanted a more intuitive, flexible alternative.

After testing Scribehow, which didn't entirely dissatisfy us but lacked the necessary customization options, we discovered Guidejar – and were immediately convinced! Since we started using Guidejar, we've been creating interactive guides that our customers love and can work through at their own pace. The positive feedback has been overwhelming: numerous customers have already told us how helpful and excellent our guides are.

With Guidejar, we can not only efficiently record and edit guides, but also share them with our customers in our own brand identity. The Help Center is the absolute icing on the cake of the software. Here, we can organize our guides clearly and share them specifically with customers. Whether it's public guides for everyone or private guides for specific customer requests – Guidejar makes both effortlessly possible.

Another highlight is the latest update, which enables webcam recording. Now, we can integrate personal explanations into our interactive guides and provide a genuine "personal touch."

For us, Guidejar is the absolute go-to solution for guides and help desks. It has fundamentally improved our customer communication, and we wholeheartedly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guidejar?

Honestly, there's nothing I genuinely dislike about Guidejar right now. We use it extensively, and it's an incredibly powerful tool. While it's largely fantastic, there are a couple of minor areas for potential optimization, but these are truly minor quibbles.

One small area is the automatic favicon detection. It doesn't always work perfectly, and sometimes the resolution of the favicons isn't as high as in other tools like Scribehow, where it's a bit more stable. However, even when Guidejar doesn't find a favicon automatically, we can easily add it manually via a link, so it's not a major roadblock.

A really cool feature for the future would be the automatic blurring of sensitive information like email addresses, names, or phone numbers. Currently, we have to manually blur these in each screenshot, which can be a bit time-consuming. Automating this would make the process even smoother.

But again, these are very minor points. Overall, Guidejar is an outstanding solution, and we're incredibly happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Guidejar?

I appreciate how Guidejar significantly reduces my time building instructions for clients, transforming a once tedious process into an efficient workflow. I love its straightforward setup, the click-by-click recording feature, and the ability to organize and edit slides quickly. The option for custom branding on instructions is also fantastic. I would like the ability to edit while recording, such as switching the order of slides and adding notes during the recording process. What do you like best about Guidejar?

I have several team members where English is not their first language, I also have some who are not overly comfortable recording videos for clients. Guidejar enables those team members to share simple custom guides for our customers without the need to do a voice-over for a video. The customer support is also excellent! It’s super easy to dive right in and start building guides without needing any fancy editing skills or technical setup.

One of my favorite things is the customization options, helping us keep everything looking on-brand, which is a big win.
