**What do you like best about Growbots?**

Integration with HubSpot allows us to "graduate" leads that exhibit interest intent into HubSpot and maximize our outbound outreach without potentially harming our core domain reputation and also ensures each new HubSpot contact has the richest contact detail available prior to the rep following up personally. Also fabulous that we're only offered contacts for purchase that don't already exist in ou HubSpot DB.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

Bummer to not be able to resequence purchased leads into other campaigns by state when territory reassignments occur without exporting/importing. (Challenge with imports--including re-importa--is that they're not cross-checked against HubSpot DB the way that Growbots generated leads are.)

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping HubSpot as much of an engaged/inbound MQL or SQL/Opp/Customer DB as possible and making Growbots our primary outbound marketing engine

The service is reliable and effective.  The support and available information has been wonderful.  Even the sales process was perfect for us and our needs.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

No Complaints at all.  Although it is not designed for all marketing scenarios, the functionality is so rich that it can be creatively used for many situations.

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not only does Growbots successfully do what it promises (absolutely fantastic!), its tools for testing, refining, and re-deploying campaigns are helping us tune our approach exponentially faster than we could without it.

The ability to create email sequences is great. Their customer support is also very helpful and generally always available during work hours.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

I dislike the way the system makes you edit or clone and continuously have to save new versions of a template. I also think the quality of the leads is poor.

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

I wouldn't consider Growbots if you're looking for important decision makers or strong quality leads...

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

Customer service is VERY VERY helpful! If there is anything you need that you can't actually do yourself due to the lack of that specific feature on the software itself, the customer service is so amazing they contact the developer team straight away and maximum 24hrs most requests are completed. Most updates of the software are done in the background which doesn't interfere with your emailing.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

There are a few features that are missing, but as mentioned above the customer service support and developers team are very helpful. Especially when it comes to reporting features. One BIG downfall that I can mention is the lack of a possibility to download and upload a blacklist. 

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

Definitely give this a go and try it out at least for a couple months. You won't be disappointed. 

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely, reporting has improved thanks to Growbots. 
The possibility for very easy AB Testing.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

I love the ability to see the contacts and associated company prior to the purchase. The integration with HubSpot is great and super helpful! As we are still in the process of figuring out what works best for us, Jake & Claire have been super helpful at walking us through the tool and answering questions as well as giving us feedback on our campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

The revenue amounts are at 1 million and 10 million. I'd love for there to be a 5 million revenue option to check since that is super relevant to us. As with all data tools, occasionally you get contacts that don't match your criteria. I have found a few where the company did not match the revenue selected criteria.

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

If you are looking for a tool to find contacts and perform outreach to those contacts, Growbots is a great place to get started.

Growing our contact list and proactively reaching out to good fit companies.

Sequencing always looks professional, identifies warm leads to call on. Lots of emails in a short amount of time 

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

Interface could be better - hard to call directly from the platform and filter based on person. I catch myself switching between our CRM from Growbots for more information on a prospect. Data is not always accurate and pulls irrelevant lists

Take time with CE rep to implement the process on the front end. Follow up emails with calls

Automating functions like emailing frees up more resources for our growing company to focus on issues that are more challenging.

I like the ability to use this tool as both a marketing nurture and also a sales prospecting tool. The automation and the technology is very cool.

There's not much to dislike with this software, it is fairly simple to use but it hits all the right features and functionality.

Have not found anything to dislike.  I like the program and its capabilities.

Great tool for lead-gen.  Region, industry & job title specific is a huge win for me.

Finding new individual industry based client prospects is my biggest benefit.  Many of these contacts would never know my company existed without Growbots. I definitely did not know many of them existed either.

Although we like all parts of using Growbots - the auto email sequences are our favorite part. The great contact tokens they have,  how easy it is to A/B test - just really easy to use

I  wish there were a few more selectors of company characteristics, and more software options, but we're in a smaller unique  segment, so I understand

If you've got a larger sales team and want to help control/guide their outbound efforts this is a great tool to do so. Also really helps with potential expansion for inbound contacts

Since we have  both a free and subscription product we were struggling to bring in higher qualified leads (that would use the subscription product) - we were able to better target those prospects with Growbots

The Growbots software platform provides a one-stop-shop for lead generation, intelligent cold outbound sales campaigns, and It integrates wonderfully with multiple CRM's.

Nothing major. The platform works great for our purposes.

I wish it had more break points within the email sequencing where you could schedule pauses for calls from the sales team.

This is such an easy tool to use and implement. It saves you time and money (advertising, outreach, follow up communication).  It is the best tool we've invested in this year.

We have a small sales team, so this is taking the role of email outreach for them. It is scheduling apts for our sales team by utilizing Calendly.

I like being able to see information about the companies I'm prospecting, especially the LinkedIn profiles of the people I'm targeting.
I also like the scheduling engine which makes sure every email gets properly spread out during the day/week.
My favorite aspect of Growbots is the ability to find leads outside the US

It takes a while to find my way through the application but their customer service is always ready to assist.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

I've been using Growbots for about three years now and they just keep getting better. Growbots is a wonderful platform for creating and measuring the quality of email templates. A/B testing subject lines, send times, lead types, etc. is incredibly easy and straightforward. Importing leads is also super simple and flexible. If one field has an error, Growbots let you fix it without going back into the spreadsheet.  Customer service has been phenomenal and they really take your feedback to heart. The how-to guides are great for new users.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

Since the update in June 2018, I don't have any complaints. For those new to the software, it may be overwhelming at first, but it is incredibly powerful. 

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

Use the getting started material and you'll spend more time booking calls than sending emails.

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead generation, growth, outbound marketing. Growbots saves a ton of time and makes any SDR 10x more effective.

The focus of the prospecting data, emailing too, and analytics. It's got all the featured you could want from an outbound tool.

They don't have data on everyone, but nobody does.

Like the title of my review says, Growbots is the best outbound tool in the world.  I've been in the business for 10 years, and have used many different ones.  This one is in a league of its own.  Within the first day, it had already converted for a client of mine.  I recommend it without hesitation.

I am a consultant that runs outbound campaigns for all sorts of clients.  This tool helps me save time and money doing just that.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

Ability to target prospects at a granular level - Search tool is easy to use. However, hands down their customer service is the best.  Nothing is too much troucle and Jen (our main contact) is incredobly knowledgeable and helpful.  This is a simple email toolwith the benefit of the database making it a very cost effective and simple tool to get you prospecting quickly.  

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

GUI is not very pretty - but I believe that all the fuctionality trumps the pretty GUI.  The previous version (2.0) was prettier and easier to use - 3.0 has a long way to go in terms of ease of use. However once you get used to setting up campaigns it is pretty simple.  The template system is great, however with multiple campaigns and messages the versioning is not great. With so many messages on multiple campaigns it can get a little confusing.  I am sure if I had more time I could make it more efficient.

Once you start using Growbotts it is easy to see how you can really target prospects effectively.  

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to target a new B2B market - Growbotts enabled us to define new markets and reach out quickly and effectively. I love the feature of being able to refine my prospect search to 1 person per company or multiple, adding more as I go and when I geta warm response I can quickly pause all outgoing messages to other people in the compnay by quickly qualifying the prospect or whole company.  I would say that Growbotts definitely met our needs.

My favorite part about Growbots is the lead generation. There are so many filters and tools to help you narrow down your target market for each campaign. I really like how you can set reminders or tasks to go back after emails are sent and set a task to make a phone call.

Many e-mails bounce back. The see when people clicked your emails feature and how many times was taken away.

It has automized our prospecting process.

I like that the interface is intuitive and easy to use. I also like that I know an email campaign is going on, targeting the prospects I am calling, at the same time I am calling.

We've been using them for a couple of years. On the list of "best ROI" considering all the marketing we do they rank in the top 3 for us.

There is a learning curve for sure. This is highly customizable software and needs time invested. But, their support team are amazing.

Automating all of our sales and prospecting emails.

Growbots makes it easy to segment and reach out to your target personas by title, geographic area, industry, and company. It is also very easy to setup message streams.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

The data doesnt seem all that valid meaning some of the email addresses they source are undeliverable because the targeted prospect has moved on. Another issue is that undeliverable emails sometimes show up as cold replies.

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

B2B prospecting. Frankly, we havent had a ton of success with Growbots even when following their recommended best practices in terms of messaging, cadence, and segmentation.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

Growbots delivers on it's promises to generate leads and increase your sales opportunities. The platform is always improving and the customer service team is phenomenal. Once you become a customer you are not forgotten. They respond promptly with accurate, insightful answers.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

We can only do business in the US and once in a while a European company slips through the crack. This really isn't a big deal though in the grand scheme of things.

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

Get started with this. Even if you only use it on a trial basis you can learn alot from them.

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are boosting our pipeline without the intense man hours it requires to cold call. We also are able to easily track the success of our campaigns to know what is working and what isn't; an extremely valuable asset.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

Recently, Growbots did an overhaul of their entire system, from GUI to overall processes. It's not perfect, but the platform looks and feels great. Additionally, they added an enormous database of contacts with an easy-to-use tool to search for prospects, create messaging, and campaigns. The support is supurb, with excellent response time and knowledge of the platform. 

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

There are quite a few minor annoying bugs, but nothing too detrimental. The reporting is almost non-existing, which causes you to do everything within the prospect search functions and this can get a bit cumbersome.

Spend time reading the blogs and configuring the system from early on.

Email marketing. Excellent response rate.

As a B2B distributor of horticulture supplies, we are always on the lookout for the decision-markers in each organization. Growbots lets us reach specific audiences based on shared titles or responsibilities within an organization so we are able to efficiently craft messages that resonate with each prospect, thus driving our RIO to new heights. Would most definitely recommend this easy to use, intuitive platform to companies looking to expand their prospect list and reach in to untapped markets.

Their prospect database is already large and the more they invest in development the larger the database will be. 

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to tap into new markets within our broader industry can be difficult at times. Growbots allows you to go straight to the source of what seems like unlimited data to find exactly the type of prospect you are looking for.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

The ability to build a scalable and automatic email marketing touch cadence is fantastic. It's the best part of the platform. The 2nd best part is the ability to source leads at scale but more on that below.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

Growbots' promise is fantastic. Unfortunately, their platform isn't ready for prime time.

Issues:
- Support - Growbots is not an intuitive platform. During and after onboarding we had minimal support and there was quite a lag in getting critical questions answered as support comes from Poland.
- Bugs - the system isn't fully baked. One example, their system showed that several prospects had clicked on a link with our email. One issue, the system also showed that these prospects had never been emailed.
- Lead Quality - our biggest issue with their platform is the leads themselves. 
1. To start with, the system doesn't learn. If you email a prospect that is no longer with the company or the email bounces that contact doesn't update. The next user will have the same issue. Very frustrating given that approx 20% of the time you will have one of those 2 outcomes when you email through their system in bulk. 
2. Issue #2 with the leads is the limited ability to filter them. If you are a b2b company like us, there is no way to separate companies within an industry that are a b2b play from a b2c play. This effectively blocks your ability to target that industry. Because of this, we quickly ran out of prospects.
3. With the rise of email automation marketing platforms response rates have dropped. We had built a 3 touch cadence that we used effectively 3 years ago. Unfortunately, each of those touches was performed manually making it too expensive to pursue. With automation, we thought that we had found the holy grail. Unfortunately, our response rates have been 1/3rd of what they were 3 years ago.

Conclusion - nice promise but too buggy and limited to achieve our goals.

2 areas I was most impressed with: 1) GB support team (ie. Jennifer Morton is a rock star), 2) GB User Interface, which is super intuitive and easy-to-use, making it easy to build one or more email campaigns, either custom creating your own email templates or using sample templates provided.

Nothing specific to Growbots by any means, as our issues was/is unexpected internal changes to corporate email provider which lead to a required new email getting marked as SPAM. Again this dislike IS NOT specific to GB, and it was unavoidable on our behalf.

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

Be sure you have robust, qualified internal email and necessary steps in place to prevent being listed as SPAM. Take your time creating prospect list from the GB database and don't be shy in asking their support team for guidance/advice with your campaign strategy.

Drip marketing via email campaigns to ensure constant, recurring touches well defined list of prospective customers.

I like how Growbots is so simple to use and gives simple instructions on how to send the best cold-email templates. Their support staff is very responsive, and super fun to talk to. They know their product inside out, and it really shows that they love it too. I like that you can see who reads your messages, and what campaigns are the most effective. You can easily add new prospects to an already existing campaign.

Setting up the system to integrate with our emails was a bit confusing, but the talented support staff quickly helped to make sure everything was set up correctly. Everything was set up in a couple of days and works smoothly.

It's pretty simple and straight forward to use if you are experienced with email automation tools like this.  It's great to add variants and powerful to really zero in on a target audience.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

It appears very hard if not likely to dedupe accounts.  No phone numbers or direct lines.  Also, I've noticed the tracking and analytics to not be accurate, with an example being if an autoresponder replied to an email, it counts as a open and response.

Finding targeted and qualified prospects to reach out to and book demos.  We've opened a good number of opportunities and closed our biggest deal yet from a Growbots campaign.

limited on enterprise data could use more data on larger enterprise companies. The 1 off approach needs to be implemented in a better way.  Other than those I can really think of any other dislikes.

This is by far the best service for prospecting automation and workflow automation. The best part is it saves me time to focus on other business operations. I really enjoy the staff that works for Growbots along with the trackable performance analytics. Growbots is plugged in to a number of data sources which tend to be highly accurate and up-to-date. You have the ability to be very specific in your targeting criteria and the messaging tool incorporates a number of useful merge fields which help to promote the authentic nature of the messaging. Overall, a great tool which saves a great deal of time.

It's less of an issue with the product, more that our particular service is in a crowded market, therefore more of a challenge to generate meaningful responses. Growbots is not cheap, but you only need a small numbers of prospects to turn into customers for it to pay for itself.

**What do you like best about Growbots?**

I like the idea of Growbots to source contacts, create email campaigns, and the ability to A/B test email variations. I like that you can build a profile of your ideal prospect and filter in and out prospects. I like the campaign reporting and filtering. I like that it helps you manage the number of outbound emails you send each day so that you don't get flagged as spam. It also does a nice job of preventing a contact from being in more than one campaign at a time.

**What do you dislike about Growbots?**

The interface is fairly linear in how it was built and the design flow assumes you set up a perfect campaign the first time around. It doesn't allow much flexibility to adjust the message campaign. For example, you cannot easily move around or re-order messages nor easily insert messages in the middle of a flow. You cannot easily correct a bad email address and re-send during a campaign. It is not easy to add single contacts to a campaign as they come along. At the time of this review, there are work-arounds but you have to create a new .csv file and upload it each time you want to add someone or correct that bad email. It's in the product roadmap to fix but it's not available yet.

Some of the reporting tools are a bit misleading. When you get a bounced email in your inbox, when you open it, Growbots counts that as an opened email when it shouldn't be, therefore, open rates can be over-inflated. Their AI to detect cold replies vs. warm replies, could be better trained and improved.

This is a tool primarily for email addresses, no direct dial phone numbers are available. Furthermore, I wish I could query the prospect database for specific people; you can search for just about everything else: company, industry, size of organzation, job title, key words, software they use... except the name of the person (i.e. you find that great person on LinkedIn... there's no way to search for that person to see if they are in the database). 

I've found a number of the contacts (15-20%) are out-of-date by 1-2 job titles / companies. Some I'd like to follow up with but there's no updated email address to reach them, at least not from within Growbots. Thankfully when you email these prospects and they bounce, you get your credits back. On the downside, if you are capturing these outbound campaigns in your CRM, you get all the dud contacts which makes for a messy CRM and time consuming to clean up.

We migrated over to 3.0 and while there are a number of great improvements, the tranisition was not well executed and the platform is still not entirely stable. When the system crashes, everything is inaccessible and there is no support after business hours.

**Recommendations to others considering Growbots:**

Growbots seems to be designed for the entrepreneur who doesn't have a lot of time or a formal salesperson. It's great for casting a wide net for ideal prospects, setting up an email campaign and letting it go. If you are not worried about managing a clean CRM system and phone numbers are not necessary, Growbots may be a good choice to build awareness and net a few new quality conversations. If you have a salesperson or two, it is not as flexible or fluid as other tools in the market. The big advantage, though, is access to their pool of prospects and tools to automate the communication.

I found the Growbots support was amazing. The platform itself was not completely intuitive, and I relied on the support way more than I wanted to, but I wanted to make sure I was sending the "right" emails to the "right" people every time.

Didn't like that I couldn't add any images. I wasn't putting in pictures, but wanted to add small "fact" bubbles/data charts and couldn't do it. Eventually my rep was able to jump in and help, but it didn't look professional.

Maybe best for a larger company? Not sure. I think it's a great concept, but the drip campaigns we sent out should have generated some new leads and they did not. Felt our emails were strong, but could have used a few more ideas on getting noticed. Maybe the ability to insert charts/graphs/fact bubbles would have helped.

I did NOT get a strong ROI on the emails I sent, and I did use my own CRM and I used the Growbots CRM. I wanted to get more leads. I wanted to see if we could increase visibility on our web site. Neither of these resulted from our 8-email campaign so we're going another route.

Strong recommend to stay away from GrowBots - the company seems to be unstable and unable to deliver on its promises. If you really want to go with it, insist on a free real-live full-access trial and on a money-back guarantee after an initial use period of a few months.

**What problems is Growbots solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GB was to provide verified, targeted sales lead data, that his highly searchable, accurate. At least, that is how it was represented. We should have known better when GB outright refused to provide an actual trial and only did a demo, but before having any access demanded upfront payment. GB provided no benefits, other than wasting 100s of our time. The bounce rate is absurdly high, showing that the data is stale and unverified. The leads relevance was low - even where mails didn't bounce, the industry, company, and position title were totally inapplicable and not as specified for most leads generated. There is no support or training provided: for months it has been promised, but never delivered. Probably because of the serious issue of staff retention at GB. All of its employees are clearly fleeing the company (seems like it is about to go out of business), as no account rep or any other person we've talked to there has ever remained at the company for more than two months - it's a serious revolving door at GB and staff retention is abysmal, showing that clearly there are some major internal problems within the company. Management are unreachable and never respond, when we request escalation - simply honoring what we've been promised, such as a migration to the current version and training, two things that we are repeatedly promised, but that are never delivered (as the person promising it is there one week, but gone the next).

Here's a good example of how inaccurate GrowBots lists are: GB keeps spamming us and asking us to sign-up, even though we are already a customer and have been one for several months.

Growbots let us easily and effectively set a schedule for our outbound sales campaigns, and look for the right prospects using job titles, verticals, company size, and keywords. We managed to connect with about 500 C-Level representatives in just two quarters, and we had a pleasure to meet a lot of nice people from our Ideal Customer Profile. While running the campaign I am convinced that everything will go smoothly and without problems. Their customer service, especially support from Mike Hanecki is absolutely fantastic.
