The current options look somewhat standard and do not capture the essence of our firm to the extent that is possible. **What problems is Groundbreaker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Groundbreaker solves the mundane tasks that consume much of the organizational and management resources in small investment firms. You're able to have everything consolidated to a single platform when working these real estate deals. Our investors love the ability to check on the deal in real time, and they've continually complimented how easy to UI is. **What do you dislike about Groundbreaker?** I believe with any newer company there's going to be growing pains. Groundbreaker had a couple glitches when they were first on boarding us as an early user. The good side of this, is that their response time and ability to resolve the issue was impeccable. Instantly we were able to set up a call where a representative would be able to hear about our issue and begin working to fix it. **What problems is Groundbreaker solving and how is that benefiting you?** The side of our business that has been most positively impacted by the integration of groundbreaker is our organization and productivity. Overall, the ease of use is very key, it allows my investors and my team to intuitively work with the platform. **What do you dislike about Groundbreaker?** There's nothing specific worth mentioning. It's important to understand that it's not perfect but the team releases upgrades monthly and does a good job at communicating those upgrades with me and my team. **What problems is Groundbreaker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for two things primarily. First and foremost, I wanted to give my LPs the best experience I could in investing with TTI Capital. My second goal was to get more done faster through automation of activities, like sending distributions and getting new deals to my investors. ### 6. I love that the Groundbreaker team is consistently in communication with me and asking what they can do to improve. It was so helpful to know that I can work & grow with Groundbreaker. One refreshing experience has been their commitment to being a people-oriented company. That shows through in how they carry themselves. Some examples; You can just watch refreshingly transparent video demos their website on-demand without having to book a demo or be put through "qualification" calls. They actually ask you if you even want them to follow up or not when you access the demo. They make their product accessible from a cost perspective for new syndicators to larger and experienced firms. In summary, these guys and girls are pretty cool to deal with. **What do you dislike about Groundbreaker?** One of the areas that was difficult for me was the signing process. They hadn't quite integrated with Hello sign to allow for custom, templated fields. However, this is something we've been communicating with and is in the works. I would expect this to be online even while most people are reading this review! **Recommendations to others considering Groundbreaker:** Do it. I met their entire team in Colorado in a very non-business setting before getting to know Groundbreaker. They are good, honest, hard-working people and are a great bet. When I invest in projects & companies, I invest in people. When I use software, I use it because of the people behind it far more than it's capabilities. Luckily, Groundbreaker has both. **What problems is Groundbreaker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Groundbreaker has been a wonderful tool for us to keep all of our legally required documents in one organized place, distribute to our investors, track projects & fundraising, prospective investors, and if the SEC ever came knocking, I would know that our ducks are in a row. ### 7. I truly believe if we had any issues that the Groundbreaker team would be more than happy to help us resolve the issue. Investors actually send me messages praising the technology. With the portal, I can securely deliver K-1s and other messages to investors. Internally, we love the easy distribution process. 4 clicks and done! No more check mailing. **What do you dislike about Groundbreaker?** I wish the platform had a way to calculate carried interest waterfalls, but the team at Groundbreaker tells me this is coming soon. **Recommendations to others considering Groundbreaker:** When I was choosing an investor management platform, I considered a few others. I found most of them to be complicated and expensive. Groundbreaker was easy to use and did most of what I thought I wanted. After receiving the pricing, the choice became clear and I haven't looked back. **What problems is Groundbreaker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our fundraising process is faster and easier. No more chasing investors for signed documents. After the deal is done, investors can answer questions for themselves by going on to the portal. Total contributions. Dates and amounts of various distributions. Also, we use Groundbreaker to send customized emails in bulk to investors. We used to send distributions by paper check.
