## About Grip
Grip is an AI phone receptionist built for UK trades and small service businesses, the plumbers, electricians, gas engineers and builders who lose work every week to voicemail because they can't answer while they're on a job. It answers the calls you can't get to in a natural British voice, asks the right questions, and captures the caller's name, number and what they need. The job lands on your phone by text or WhatsApp within seconds of the call ending. If it's a genuine emergency, Grip puts the caller straight through to you. If it's a price-check at nine on a Sunday, it handles it and lets you get on with your evening. It works on the number you already have, no porting and no new handset: one divert code sends your calls to Grip, another switches it off. On the Pro+ plan it books jobs into Google Calendar or Outlook. Every call is transcribed. It always declares itself as an AI at the start of the call. Pricing is published and flat: from £49 a month, with a free three-day trial and no setup fee.
