What do you like best about GRASP German GRC?

GRASP is a real support for our association in the area of data protection. With their data protection compliant Data Protection Management System (DSMS), we were able to significantly improve our processes. The software is very user-friendly and easy to use – really pleasant in everyday life! The introduction of the DSMS was completely straightforward and has allowed us to digitize and significantly simplify our entire data protection process. We are very satisfied and gladly recommend GRASP. The always available customer service is very friendly and competent and has already supported us in many areas. What problems is GRASP German GRC solving and how is that benefiting you?

The association used to maintain directories of processing activities as well as Technical-Organizational Measures (TOM) and process-related documents in paper form. This required significant financial and personnel resources and led to an unnecessarily high administrative burden. Since the implementation of the data protection management system, fulfilling data protection requirements has become significantly easier and more straightforward. Only a few paper-based documents are used now, as all relevant documents are now stored digitally and securely in compliance with data protection regulations. What do you dislike about GRASP German GRC?

Licences cannot be extended directly from the software, but only in the classic sales process.

The ESG module has been announced for mid 2025 and we would like to have it immediately.

GRASP links all key GRC areas, i.e. data protection, information security management, business continuity management and audit management. Each area can be utilised very well on its own, but it is precisely in combination that we ensure our compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Successful compliance in a company requires the ongoing cooperation of many people within the organisation. For most, this just means extra work. GRASP offers both the content-related and collaborative elements that help to fulfil the high requirements on an ongoing basis and involve employees and managers.

The collaboration with DextraData in the configuration and implementation of our application was exceptionally good. The company shows a great interest in customer satisfaction and holds high standards for its own work. This standard is particularly noticeable at the development level, as the developers, for example, are very accessible and motivated.

In the configuration of the application, we encountered some technical difficulties. However, this is a specific problem because our requirements are very individual and heterogeneous. We use GRASP for internal and external audits as well as the authorization of our works, the execution of internal controls, and the resulting action management. With GRASP, these audit activities can be easily created, prepared, and conducted. Different roles work together in the tool and only see the areas intended for them. Actions can be created in GRASP or are partially created automatically and tracked there. Deadlines and escalations help users keep track and massively reduce manual effort.
