## About Graphwise GraphDB
Graphwise GraphDB is an enterprise-ready Semantic Graph database and a key component of the Graphwise Graph AI suite. Designed for knowledge graphs, complex data integration, and AI applications, it supports W3C standards and provides secure, high-performance querying. It integrates into AI-agentic workflows to improve LLM accuracy, enabling information to be easily identified, disambiguated, and interconnected. Graphwise GraphDB addresses business problems involving highly interconnected data that challenges relational databases. It helps organizations uncover patterns using inference and fast full-text/faceted searches via synchronized services like Elasticsearch and OpenSearch. GraphDB guarantees high availability and no data loss through cluster and multi-cluster deployments. This architecture allows enterprises to move from fragmented data to a unified, AI-ready graph environment.

## Graphwise GraphDB Reviews
  ### 1. GraphDB - a powerful tool for the semantic interpretation of data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Graphwise GraphDB?**

I like GraphDB's ease of use, the combination of reasoning and querying capabilities, the customization options, and the freedom to even develop my own stand-alone applications via its Java API.

**What do you dislike about Graphwise GraphDB?**

The "per-CPU-core" licensing scheme is limiting performance even for small projects. I would prefer to have a licensing scheme that follows other scalability criteria such as number of parallel queries.

**What problems is Graphwise GraphDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Within our organization, GraphDB has been successfully used for years in a multitude of projects from different application domains (e.g., manufacturing, agriculture, energy) to persistently store and interpret our semantic models. It is typically embedded within a larger system that benefits from the generated additional insights and improves decision-making processes.

  ### 2. GraphDb is a great tool for knowledge graphs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Graphwise GraphDB?**

Supports interconnected data and their relatio n ships. They have great documentation and allows connectors to be defined to ensure elastic and graph are kept in sync. It also provides a sparql query console and provides great documentation.

**What do you dislike about Graphwise GraphDB?**

There's not much I dislike about GraphDb.

**What problems is Graphwise GraphDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our organisation to manage interconnected data, as well as identify and establish relationships.

  ### 3. GraphDB the best tool to manage graphics databases.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda D. | Director, Analytics, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Graphwise GraphDB?**

Its main advantage and one of the favorites of the users is that its implementation is easy and fast, it is the ideal to generate queries in an IDE type environment and visualize relationships. Its compliance with several standards for exchange formats makes the path easier, regardless of what tool was used when generating an exchange file.

**What do you dislike about Graphwise GraphDB?**

The only disadvantage that I have presented with the tool, is that at the time of an update or a new version of the tool it is not updated automatically, that is, it must be downloaded manually and re-implemented.

**Recommendations to others considering Graphwise GraphDB:**

It is a tool that I would recommend in all organizations without any doubt, since it is a software that speeds up and optimizes the work process, that is, when implementing the tool in its assigned functions, it responds in a quick way allowing Saving a large amount of time when organizing, storing and managing all the relevant content of a company by converting it into semantic data, in addition to its wonderful functions, is a tool with an easy interface when it is used and fast when implementing it.

**What problems is Graphwise GraphDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the organization we use GraphDB in the marketing department in order to store, organize and manage content in the form of semantically enriched smart data. It is a tool that we like to use because its learning curve is very comfortable and easy to handle, it is a tool that has adapted quickly to our needs. Before we met GraphDB we were working with other tools that did not speed up the process as we expected, they were very slow when solving queries, today we are very grateful because GraphDB really does the work that we expect optimally proving to always be the most efficient .

  ### 4. GraphDB Accelerate performance!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa A. | Graphic Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Graphwise GraphDB?**

With the right knowledge, you will be equipped to take advantage of the performance of GraphDB; it is very quick.

GDB has some very powerful features for cleaning data, right where you need it. Visual exploration of graphs is really good and compared to other tools on the market, runs smoothly without draining the battery.

**What do you dislike about Graphwise GraphDB?**

In my use case, there isn't anything I dislike, but for future use, I've read that the transaction isn't well implemented, and we hope to configure the URL path of the API and GUI separately.

**Recommendations to others considering Graphwise GraphDB:**

There is a learning curve, so be prepared and have a little patience; you'll get through it and then enjoy it.

**What problems is Graphwise GraphDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very easy to set up and install a local graph database to store and upload files.

  ### 5. Great resources for those new to the semantic web and RDF

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Graphwise GraphDB?**

The resources, quick guides, and other information for new users is really helpful for those trying to get into the semantic web and RDF for the first time. The sample data is also great for getting started. User interface is very visually appealing and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Graphwise GraphDB?**

There are a lot of excellent resources in many different places, which can lead to having too many web browser tabs open and getting lost switching between screens.

**What problems is Graphwise GraphDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analysis of information on the semantic web to expand data analysis capabilities

  ### 6. GraphDB is a great way to get started with Graph databases and is helpful for networking apps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Graphwise GraphDB?**

It is easier to use than a relational database or something like SQL because it is easier to change models

**What do you dislike about Graphwise GraphDB?**

The application seems to use too much memory and is slow on my machine. It is also difficult to learn the syntax as a new user.

**What problems is Graphwise GraphDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More organized database, faster queries and a graphical user interface to access data.
