What do you dislike about Google Display Ad Network? Google Display Ad Network has limited capabilities and never gave us a strong return on investment (ROI). Our work in advertising is a primarily direct response, and we never saw a strong ROI on any of our campaigns with the Google Display Ad Network. Recommendations to others considering Google Display Ad Network: I would only recommend Google Display Ad Network for use as part of an awareness goal campaign.The platform is easy to use with a short launch lead time which is great for campaigns with a short lead time. Users considering the Google Display Ad Network for high-granulatiry targeting, should consider other platfroms for their programmtic display campaigns. Google Display Ad Network was particularly helpful with running ads on a short lead time and/or a small budget. For example, I saw one of my display ads and refreshed the page and saw the ad in the same place but with different creative. This quickly leads to banner blindness. While prospecting is always a crapshoot, it still shows its garnering attention but not conversions. This could be on our end, based on the audience we created, but I've seen better results on other platforms. This platform is great for a company that wants to test the waters for display advertising, before committing to a contractual obligation.
