Google cloud function is a fantastic serverless computing service, that I've found useful for handling event-driven tasks. The simplicity is what I like most, without worrying about managing servers, just write your function, deploy and leave the rest to Google to handle it. It's extraordinary for lightweight tasks like processing real time events, automating workflow or integrating with other GC services. Although with all the positives, there are few drawbacks too. There is a long learning curve for someone who wants to try. It's easy to set up simple functions, but things are tricky when it comes to managing complex projects. Debugging and logging system is functional but clunky at times.
