Serverless decoupled compute drives high scalability with little administration overhead. One thing I liked most is the availability/integration of other Google services that drives real-time data analytics. it is simple to use and beginner friendly with high availability of most recent data from Google trends in case someone wish to get their hands dirty with data. It supports SQL queries to execute super fast and GCP's identity and access management ensures our data is secure. The query results can be exported into various data types/ formats making it more flexible. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?** Although it is beginner friendly, to get to an advanced level in Bigquery, we might have to invest a considerable amount of time. It has integration with all the GCP services along with other cloud services as well and one of the most brilliant feature, I like about BigQuery is that it is serverless which means that you don't have to manage any server or any CP utilisation or anything like that, it is completely seamless in terms of scalability. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?** There is very limited scope of changing the path of our execution, which is something that we don't have much control over when once we have the sql queries fired into the Dremel engine of bigquery. yes, it's serves as an abstraction to the complexities of dealing with various explain plans and everything, but sometimes it helps to understand how some explain plans are being chosen over the other and how internally everything is getting you know drill down right from accessing the file system to fetching the data app, applying the filters and everything. **What problems is Google Cloud BigQuery solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like for example, in our last project, we had the data asset for our e-commerce system built in bigquery .so we had the data from various ERP systems into big query and we had historical data to analyse patterns. we had ML models driven in SQL to determine predict customer segmentation demo based on demographic planogram optimisation, drill down into various levels into package, detail orders detail, shipment, detail and analyse data quality issues and then it helps build not directly but indirectly. It helps build a reputation of the company, and it also provides a lot of actionable items that can serve as a predictive and prescriptive analytics. We were able to do inventory management, improve the operation operations of our e-commerce platform. We were able to predict the load of our front-end systems, so these were directly helping generate revenue using big query. ### 38. As a daily user for my needs to build dashboards it serves all the data analyst could expect for. I can build intensively large amount of queries without worrying about the data limitations if < 200MN rows. My clients also loved the final product which was easy to navigate and use. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?** Deprication of dremel as few syntaxes had to be changed. Dremel had a few unique features which F1 doesn't in BQ.
