We can connect with GA4 and see the analytics for traffic on our website and many more.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

Cost is too high we connect google hig query with looker studio it cost us whenever user click on the report i think looker studio should have option to store the data not every time go to big query and get the data.

**What problems is Google Cloud BigQuery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anayltics and Business Intelligence

  ### 5. Easy to query

  ### 6. BigQuery Studio Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashutosh A. | Assistant Manager Data Analytics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

Very fast processing, Computing power is very good. Even crores of records also it'll process in 5-10secs. Well Organised, UI is good. Even non techie can understand the things in no time. Scheduling queries creating views is super easy. We can even run AI/ML models in bigquery studio no need to explicitly build the models.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

Even if you have saved views name in your dataset and if you refresh the page because of network issues or any other issues it wont show your views names instead it'll show untitled query in studio. Then again you have go to your view path and have to open and edit it from your left side panel.
If we are working on small project then it is fine But when we're working on big projects where we have to open 10-15 views and edit it then that time it'll be hectic.

**What problems is Google Cloud BigQuery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we have very big data of our company which is in crores. So to handle such big data we needed fast computing power which is solved by bigquery.

  ### 7. Using BQ for data analysis

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

Resources and documentation are easily accessible and formatting a query is also easy. Having multiple data sources to pull from would be tedious if not for the search system available in BQ. This helps as I have to pull data from our storage every day.

It is also easy to integrate BQ stores with other tools in the google ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

The search system does not always work when it comes to searching for older saved queries. I end up having to manually scroll through my saved queries to find the one i am looking for.

**What problems is Google Cloud BigQuery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Metric monitoring

  ### 8. Truly a serverless offering by GCP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar G. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

Bigquery is one of that serverless warehouse where you don't have to thing about about compute, since it is managed by GCP, we as a engineers only needs to worry about how to store the data in BQ with effective partitioning and clustering strategy.
Bigquery as shifted the tradition from decoupled compute and storage ( spark + warehouse ) to a tightly coupled architecture which has drastically simplified the data platform architecture.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

I believe costing needs to be controlled, I have seen couple of engineers firing an very expensive queries unknowingly which has significantly increase the billing.
I would recommend following changes:
1) There should be pop up kind of thing that we can implement which can warn the users ( on how many GB of data they are scanning along with its cost ).
2) Bigquery can also provide an optional features to the organisation where they can limit the data scan for their data users. ( lets say company decide to cap the data scan to 10 GB, none of the user should be able to query more than that )
3) With the help of AI, if BQ can provide recommendation based on the query patterns and the table structure, few ways in which they can optimise table scan would be really beneficial.

**What problems is Google Cloud BigQuery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BQ is solving the problem of having compute and storage present at a common place. We are using the combination of DBT+ BQ to build our data platform. BQ is truly scalable product where we can store TB's of data without worrying about the underlying infrastructure, and this really makes Bigquery special.
We are also using Bigquery to create kind of data lake with the help of Biglake table in bigquery where we are using GCS for the storage and BQ infrastructure for querying it.

  ### 9. SQL and make it better!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash G. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

BigQuery has the best additional advanced commands and potential for loops, making it a full-stack tool for anything related to Data in big warehouses. Its easy to use interface and simple integration with other google tools makes it really useful.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud BigQuery?**

The speed is good but the architecture can get better in my opinion. It's not very easy to understand how some of the larger tables work.

**What problems is Google Cloud BigQuery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So large databases can definitely take a lot of time to work with but BigQuery makes it easy by allowing users to have output around BigQuery analytics in a easier way and is so much faster at data aggregations.
