My favorite thing about GoodData is that it is integrated with tools that we already have and, in particular, Salesforce and our internal database. I use it in my day-to-day practices as an e-commerce marketer to generate sales and performance of the campaigns in a single platform. It has an impressive assortment of dashboard building capabilities. The IT had to be coordinated with in order to implement it but once that was implemented we began using it daily since it had become part of our routine reporting. The disadvantage I identify with GoodData is that it is complex when setting up especially when connecting a number of systems. The IT team was required to take a considerable amount of time to create data models. When the structures of the databases change, it does not change immediately, and that influences the frequency of relying on it to make fast decisions. The platform has numerous features and this at times complicate new users hence slowing down productivity during the initial weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
