I'm using Godatafeed for the typical stuff but also for wilder applications. I'm using it to do calculations and logic to create an advanced feed for our shipping solution that uses a flat file to configure shipping. Between Godatafeed and our shipping solution I have create broad and granular rules to do things like "if profit is less than $300 and package cubic volume is over 4000 remove free shipping".

It's been an invaluable tool to improve the data quality of various feeds for my ecommerce store clients. I'm also using their supplementary feed tools. I import additional data from client ERP's via FTP so we have data beyond what's in Shopify. It's updated daily so the values are fresh. This allows my clients to not spend a fortune on Zapier requests or rely on 3rd party API's for this data.

Their chat bot has it's issues like most of them. I've gotten some answers from it but it's a frustrating barrier protecting support staff from entry level users and not useful for advanced users or professionals since there's no humans manning it. Once you get a ticket going you'll have results pretty quickly though I've found.

If I were consulting for GDF I'd create a pro level customer group that got expedited help through chat based on login, amount of GDF accounts etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Did not have time for a phone call early in the experience with me so I could explain the problem better. Probably could have gone faster with a call. Easily they showcase and like to brag about there integrated smart catalogs. This is easily there best feature as it's true, they do reach all aspects of social media to put your product or service front and Center for the most clients as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The feed monitoring feature that was promised wasn't working. It took some time to fix but wasn't generally impressed with what we got. Honestly, I don't rely on it to track our performance and our level of engagement in the marketplace. This needs to be updated to be more useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Imports, exports, mapping, and all of the details of managing feeds can be overwhelming for the small business owner.
