Glint is easy to use and provides many different layers, which saves us from having to search through separate PDFs and data layers from various planning institutions. Restriction analysis have become much faster for us. With the Glint AI Tool Beautify, visualizing a PV project is straightforward, and it delivers great & fast results. That, in turn, saves time and costs. Glint is also ideal for creating an initial layout and for yield estimations. Lastly, I want to highlight the excellent customer support. Self-imported layers can only be partially implemented in the restrictions analysis, so you should always double-check that you have reviewed every key layer and not rely solely on the layers available in Glint. What problems is Glint Solar solving and how is that benefiting you? The visualization tool saves us time and money. We also no longer need to dig through all the available data across different sites on our own. A major benefit is that Glint checks the data’s accuracy and keeps it up to date. Glint Solar has gone from being av very useful screening software to become the most important tool in our project development. Solgrid started using Glint Solar 5 years ago, when both Solgrid and Glint Solar still were relatively new in the Norwegian marked, and we have always had a good working relationship. Their support department has been excelent, and they will help adding new features quickly if requested. We now use Glint Solar in all phases of our projects, even though we have additonal software for the detail and building phase. When Solgrid established an office in Sweden, we immediately contacted Glint. The programme works seamingless across the border, and it is easy to colaborte with our colleagues in Gothenburg. The software works very well with the other programmes we use, which saves both time and effort. It is easy to use, and with several users it is a very good value for money. When Solgrid started using Glint Solar, it was still an unfinished product and could only handle some of the features we needed. In addition, the map base and grid overview was too weak, so we could only use the programme for some of the tasks required. However, many good discussions with the founders and the support team have helped solve these issues, and we now have very few remarks in terms of quality, performance or available features. The prgramme was a bit slow in the beginning, but we do not have the same issues these days. The last 2 years Glint has been ahead in terms of adding useful features before requested form our side. Glint Solar is mainly used during the project development phase, from searching for new project opportunities through to the final application letter. We outsource the environmental impact reports, but we use Glint to do an internal evaluation up front. I find Glint Solar to be very intuitive to use and very easy to learn. It doesn't require a lot of training, and I can explain it to a colleague very fast and easily. It's very accessible, allowing all departments to share and find information in the data rooms with visualization features. It's like a dynamic dashboard, enabling everyone to work together globally without needing GIS knowledge or understanding layers. I also value the area analysis tool, which allows me to create restriction profiles and quickly scan large areas for restrictive layers. What I would love to see a bit more is like, task creation so that I can make specific tasks, assign them to my colleagues, and also track different procedures or tasks that I do. Glint Solar helps bring together solar project's data so that land acquisition, permitting and design teams are all on the same page. Glint combines a clear and easy-to-use UI with all relevant GIS data for solar and BESS developers. Evaluation of sites used to take at least an hour, but now it can be done in minutes. Glint also makes it easy to visualize the project plans to stakeholders. Glint's GIS layers are always up-to-date, saving us the time previously used for finding and adding layers. I find Glint Solar very useful for managing and finding new sites for open field photovoltaics and agri-photovoltaics. I really like the cloud-based nature of Glint Solar because it allows me to communicate and share projects with colleagues easily. The GIS library is incredibly beneficial as it helps me have everything I need in one place, so I don't have to search for information on third-party websites every time. The GIS library is comprehensive, grouping numerous layers which previously had to be managed separately in QGIS/ArcGis. Also, I like the initial setup; for my personal account, it was really easy and straightforward. Furthermore, Glint Solar has made our team a lot faster in finding new sites, resulting in more projects. We're quicker now, which sets us in a good position. What I appreciate about Glint Solar is that it offers us a very good opportunity to work on projects across teams, regardless of whether all team members have technical know-how or not.
