"Save time, money, headaches, and stress."
What do you like best about Glide?

I like the AI assistant which makes it easy to find bugs and solutions to get the build complete. This is my first shot at no-code, and the help bridged the gap to make it possible for me to complete the work. I could ask it to explain a technical detail or just do it for me and both worked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

I would like more users in the free version. It said up to 10 personal users, but 4 of those were me running tests from different accounts, which left only 6. Ten is good if it's truly 10. Customer support isn't really a thing until you're a paid user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful App Builder with Intuitive Interface"
What do you like best about Glide?

I love the ability to build powerful, beautiful applications using Glide’s easy-to-use interface. The fact that Glide serves as a suite allowing me to create the database, interface, and workflows all in one place is incredibly convenient, making it a one-stop shop for application building. Additionally, I really appreciate the data editor, which I utilize extensively, even more so than any other data source. The layout editor is also easy and intuitive to use, and the workflow editor provides a wide array of actions and automations that are seamlessly integrated, making using these environments a pleasure. Transitioning to Glide from Google Sheets was an absolute breeze and even enjoyable. Overall, Glide fits perfectly into my workflow by streamlining and improving internal business processes that previously relied heavily on manual, non-automated data entry using Excel and Google Sheets. What do you dislike about Glide?

I find that Glide's specific internal logic for building apps can sometimes be clunky and difficult to grasp, which means it can take time to master. Additionally, the requirement for a screen to be tied to a table is occasionally puzzling, and it becomes tricky to fetch data from another table when the necessary data isn't included in the data source of the table being used. Response from Darren Humphries of Glide

Nathanael, thanks for the review and for being such as important part of our user community! You are right, Glide's main use is for internal business solutions. Of course, it can be - and is - used for more than that our build roadmap is based on business.

Thanks again, Nathanael!

"The best way for fast creating MVP and in-house cross-platform PWA-solutions @ SME"
What do you like best about Glide?

Glide is the simplest way to create an MVP or a quick in-house cross-platform PWA solution in just half an hour. You simply upload your usual business spreadsheet, and Glide takes care of the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

I’m disappointed that there is no support for Push Notifications and that the native QR scanner is only available with the highest plan. It would also be helpful to have an Apple ID login option, along with a gateway to both the Google and Apple stores. I hope these features will be introduced in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Darren Humphries of Glide

Couldn't agree more, Alexey! You can build your own software in an amazingly short time with no coding required!

So you know, we have no interest in Glide apps and pages in the Google and Apple stores. This would just add a bureaucratic level of complexity to distributing apps and providing updates.

"Effortless App Building with Real-Time Updates and Professional Results"
What do you like best about Glide?

Glide makes building apps fast and simple. I love how everything updates in real time, how it connects with data sources, and how clean and professional the final apps look. The interface is intuitive, powerful, and requires zero coding—perfect for turning ideas into real apps in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

None for now — the platform works smoothly for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast deployment with Glide without too much attention to UI"
What do you like best about Glide?

Glide's UI offers out-of-box modern looking UI which doesn't require much customization and designing. A lot of time can be saved so that more focus can be paid to table design, interactions and workflows. This leads to ultra fast deployment. For industrial users like us, UI is not the most important aspect to concern. Designing interface with Glide is just drag-and-place, what-you-see-is-what-you-have. The components provided by Glide are handy and nice-looking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

Manipulation of multiple rows (records) is very difficult with the current version. It's a very annoying limitation of Glide. No matter what you develop with Glide, no matter how small or big the project is, you will be disturbed by this issue on day 1. Constantly I need to find "creative" workaround for updating multiple rows at the same time. Besides, if the app has many different processes or many user cases, you will have to do quite a lot of page design and modifications (mouse clicks). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Glide made it possible to turn my ideas into real apps that help people"
What do you like best about Glide?

Glide allows me to transform complex ideas into functional, elegant apps without coding. I really appreciate how intuitive the interface is and how quickly I can connect data from tables to create dynamic, user-friendly tools. I use it for organizational projects and social innovation, and it consistently delivers reliability, flexibility, and great visual design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

There are a few limitations when managing more advanced logic or complex data relationships, which sometimes require creative workarounds. I’d also love to see more flexibility in customizing the design layout and integrating third-party APIs directly. However, these are minor aspects compared to how powerful and accessible the platform already is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Glide has significantly transformed how we develop internal applications"
What do you like best about Glide?

The platform is one of the most distinguishing part of this platform in which we are able to drastically decrease incubation time from months to less than 7 days. The platform combines modern tools for brain analysis that fulfill and analyze the functions artificially as far back as it has been impossible.

One of the biggest leaps for our team has been integrating with Google Cloud. Because Google centralized data is consistent and repeatable, the speed of building custom apps to solve specific needs have gone up multiples. As a no-code platform, Coast strikes the right balance of flexibility and feature richness.

Not considering time and resources but this project has been very rewarding in terms of paying back. Highly recommend this platform for any organization wanting to expedite and fine-tune each stage in their workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

Offers a lot has its pros but needs some work around security and overall user experience. Currently the interface is too rich for its own good and leads to being a bit confusing for specific functionality driven users. An important improvement is to expand the classification capability of infrastructure processes. It would make life easier for designers, who can organize parts better and manage resources more efficiently.

Furthermore, The platform must be improved in its approvals system particularly for systems that were meant to support organisations managing sensitive data in a multitude and separate systems. Today, the platform does not have application/block level granular access control for editors.

Increased need for lower-security spaces to have better approval pipelines so C-suite can set up dozens of access levels per app. Improvements that would let Coast lie at the center of an enterprise-platform, but be able breathe a little first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast MVP Building but Needs More Customization"
What do you like best about Glide?

I really like Glide for the speed of building apps and its ease of use. The drag and drop builder is a fantastic feature, and using Google Sheets as a backend is really convenient. I appreciate the no code freedom it provides, and how data-driven the platform is. The initial setup was very easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

I find Glide has limited customization with constrained UI freedom and component constraints, which affects the branding feel. It doesn't support native app store publishing, which is a bit of a letdown. When it comes to scaling, there are data and performance bottlenecks along with user limits and costs. The backend limitations can be a hassle, and the offline speed isn't ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Effective, But Lacks Flexibility"
What do you like best about Glide?

I love how simple Glide is. I can basically drag and drop everything. And if I don't know something, I just look up a video. I love the integrations with Google Calendar and other apps. For me, the most helpful feature is how you can throw the action buttons straight into the layout screen without having to integrate it yourself. The initial setup was actually amazing; I didn't have any problems. The layout was amazing and simple to work with. I liked Glide since it is simple, effective, and the price is reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

I dislike that the button lacks the ability to perform multiple actions, which makes it difficult to do multipurpose tasks. For example, if I click a button, I want it to highlight, play a sound, create a new row, and take users to a new screen. Also, there aren't many options for multi-use buttons, and I can't position the layout exactly where I want. Not being able to drop a button exactly where I want on the screen is annoying, though not too bad. I wish there was a way to integrate Glide straight with messages and emails through the app and keep track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easier Life & Great Success"
What do you like best about Glide?

I’ve been using Glide App for a while now, and I can honestly say it has made my life so much easier. What I love most is how quickly I can turn an idea into a real, working app without needing advanced coding skills. The interface is simple, intuitive, and very user-friendly, yet powerful enough to build apps that actually solve real problems.

Glide helped me save time, stay organized, and streamline tasks that used to take hours. I also appreciate the flexibility—it works well whether you’re creating something personal, for a small team, or even for a business.

Overall, Glide has been a game-changer for me, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart and efficient way to build apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide?

Push Notifications must work again & If they can make the web app works as a Regular app and to be downloaded from App Store & Play Store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
