[Glide Classic Claims vs Evidence](https://www.g2.com/products/glide-glide-classic/claims-vs-evidence) # Glide Classic Claims vs Evidence ## Claim: “It is not accessible through the Glide Classic platform.” ##### Disputed by reviews. Relevant reviewers consistently describe Glide as accessible and usable across phones, tablets, computers, and other devices, contradicting the claim that it is not accessible through the platform. - “The ability to take a dense Google sheet and make it accessible information that is easy to digest and search.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11653170) - “I also appreciate how easily it adapts to the device, meaning it works and feels good on any device, whether it's a PC, Tablet, or phone.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12180378) - “Glide makes it easy to create apps for phones, tablets, and computers.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11706672) Last updated Oct 5, 2026 Source: [https://www.glideapps.com/pricing](https://www.glideapps.com/pricing) ## Claim: “GlideOS is an AI software development platform for building internal business apps from a spreadsheet, a prompt, or a file.” ##### Supported by reviews. Relevant reviewers report using Glide to turn spreadsheet data into functional apps, including internal business tools, and describe its AI assistant building apps from natural-language descriptions. The reviews provide consistent support for the claimed spreadsheet-, prompt-, and file-based app-building workflow. - “It is a cost-effective, essential tool for streamlining internal processes and replacing manual data entry through AI integrations, workflow automation, and multi-source data connections.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12252601) - “It is designed to transform existing spreadsheet data into a functional app using either automatic UI design or a visual, drag-and-drop interface.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12252601) - “I started on the free plan, uploaded a spreadsheet, watched a few tutorials — and suddenly, the app began to take shape.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11451755) Last updated Oct 5, 2026 Source: [https://www.glideapps.com/pricing](https://www.glideapps.com/pricing) ## Claim: “GlideOS gives teams the ability to collaborate on custom software faster than ever before.” ##### Supported by reviews. Most relevant reviewers report rapidly turning ideas into working applications and describe team collaboration as easy, supporting the claim’s general direction. However, one reviewer reports limitations on multiple people working in the same app simultaneously, so the evidence does not uniformly support every aspect of the claim. - “turn ideas into working applications much faster than traditional software development.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12888675) - “J'aime aussi la facilité avec laquelle Glide permet le travail d'équipe.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12397980) - “The speed of getting from an idea to a working app is ridiculous and super fast.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12164883) - “lack of version control and inability for multiple people to work in the same apps at the same time.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/10385931) Last updated Oct 5, 2026 Source: [https://www.glideapps.com/pricing](https://www.glideapps.com/pricing) ## Claim: “What used to take months with coding and weeks with no-code now takes minutes with GlideOS.” ##### Mixed support from reviews. Reviewers report that Glide can reduce development from months or weeks to minutes, supporting the claim’s general direction and, in some cases, its stated magnitude. However, other reviewers describe taking days or two months to build functional apps, so the minutes timeframe is not consistent across experiences. - “turning your structured data from Google Sheets, Airtable, or Excel into a fully functional, native-feeling mobile and web app in minutes rather than months.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11741010) - “perfect for turning ideas into real apps in minutes.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12079937) - “I found GlideApps and had a functioning App in 2 months, self-built.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11362850) - “Whip up a fully functional product in days instead of weeks, not a line of code.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11347306) Last updated Oct 5, 2026 Source: [https://www.glideapps.com/pricing](https://www.glideapps.com/pricing) ## Claim: “Glide turns spreadsheets into beautiful, intelligent apps.” ##### Supported by reviews. Relevant reviewers consistently describe transforming Google Sheets, Excel, and other structured data into functional apps, often emphasizing polished or native-feeling results and AI-assisted building. Some reviewers note limits on customization, but the dominant evidence supports the claim's spreadsheet-to-app, visually polished, and intelligent-building aspects. - “It works like a powerful translator, turning your structured data from Google Sheets, Airtable, or Excel into a fully functional, native-feeling mobile and web app in minutes rather than months.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/11741010) - “It is designed to transform existing spreadsheet data into a functional app using either automatic UI design or a visual, drag-and-drop interface.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/12252601) - “You simply upload your usual business spreadsheet, and Glide takes care of the rest.” [Read Full Review](https://www.g2.com/survey_responses/7374634) - “I love how easy it is to use Glide if you have an Excel sheet.
