GlacierPoint Snapshot Reviews & Product Details

GlacierPoint Snapshot backs up the configuration of a Microsoft 365 tenant, 484 setting types across 9 admin centers from Conditional Access to Teams meeting policies, and restores the settings you pick. It is for administrators and MSPs who need the earlier version of a setting after a wrong click, a change nobody remembers or a compromised admin account. You sign in to the portal with your work email and a six-digit code, then install the Windows app and connect it to your workspace. The app signs in to Microsoft with your administrator account and takes a backup with read permissions only, stored encrypted in the portal or in a vault folder on your computer. Any two backups can be compared down to the single setting that differs, and a restore shows a preview and writes nothing until you confirm, with a journal and a rollback for every change. The free Preview backs up a sample of 10 setting types, up to 3 times, with browsing and comparing. A plan adds every supported setting type, scheduled backups, longer history and restore, automatic for 386 types and guided for the rest.
