This is achieved without us having to implement complex infrastructure on our end. **What do you dislike about GitProtect.io?** At times updates to the SaaS product can impact running backup jobs. However, we have always been able to fix any issues thanks to the excellent and responsive support of Xopero. **What problems is GitProtect.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Github to manage our intellectual property. Unfortunately, Github itself does not provide customer-specific backups and doesn't allow customers to initiate corresponding restores on their own. This is the gap in our disaster recovery strategy that GitProtect is filling. Thanks to the features provided by GitProtect we now have recurring encrypted backups of our intellectual property that we can control ourselves. In the worst case, GitProtect would even allow us to restore our assets to a different platform. ### 2. The reason I came back is simple: it works. The setup is a breeze, the pricing is clear, and it integrates without any fuss. Just like my first experience, we went from proof-of-concept to fully operational in just a week. It's my go-to recommendation for getting security requirements for SOC 2 handled quickly and effectively. **What do you dislike about GitProtect.io?** The core product is solid. My only wish is for more detailed error logs. Sometimes when a scheduled backup has a warning, it's tough to figure out the 'why' on your own. This leads to opening support tickets, and while the team is quick to respond, a final fix can take a while. More detailed, actionable logs would be a fantastic improvement. **What problems is GitProtect.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the crucial business problem of having a robust backup and disaster recovery plan, which was a requirement for our SOC 2 implementation. ### 3. The UI needs some serious improvement in the styling and the way options are put. **What problems is GitProtect.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** So we use it on day to day basis to take backups of our GitHub and GitLab and their team is very professional we actually had person who setup an online meeting with us and helped us setup everything. ### 4. This was extremely helpful because, as it turned out, I had an API key present in one of my files. I promptly fixed the issue, but I wouldn't have identified without gitprotect's proven security practices. **What do you dislike about GitProtect.io?** I can't say there is much I dislike about gitprotect. If anything, I would say that I am overwhelmed by the number of features available using gitprotect. Of course, I am new to programming, so this is to be expected. **What problems is GitProtect.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Git protect is securing repositories and ensuring that there are no vulnerabilities. This is the primary use that I have for the product, and it is hands down the safest way I know to make sure my repositories aren't exploited by others. ### 5. Other than that it's a perfect tool for developers as it provides a good encryption too. **What problems is GitProtect.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** As said, it is used to back up our project code with incremental upgrades and also provides extra services like encryption, file compresstion and is fully manages and allows us to monitor too. ### 6.
