Genosm Reviews & Product Details

Genosm is a clinical-grade genogram family mapping and psychotherapy diagramming platform designed for therapists, psychologists, social workers, genetic counselors, and healthcare providers. It cuts diagram creation time from 45 minutes of tedious drawing down to under 2 minutes using clinical-grade AI, while ensuring complete client confidentiality through a 100% local-first storage architecture. Unlike generic cloud-based diagramming tools and web apps that explicitly forbid entering real Protected Health Information (PHI) due to cloud exposure risks and third-party data breaches, Genosm stores all patient files and diagram vaults entirely on your local device. Your sensitive client records, case notes, and family structures never touch any external server or cloud database. When utilizing Genosm's AI features, only scrubbed, anonymized relational patterns are processed in browser memory. 1. Text-to-Diagram AI Engine: Paste unstructured intake narratives or session notes to automatically construct multi-generational family structures, relationship lines, and standardized clinical symbols in seconds. 2. Automated Pattern Detection: Instantly identifies intergenerational themes, hereditary medical conditions, substance use patterns, and relational dynamics across maternal and paternal lines. 3. Clinical Documentation and SOAP Notes: Automatically generates editable, structured SOAP, BIRP, and DAP progress notes directly from diagram data. Genosm replaces disjointed single-purpose diagram tools by providing 22 evidence-based modalities in one unified workspace: 1. Core Family and Genetics: McGoldrick and Gerson standard Clinical Advanced Genograms (with 34 emotional relationship types and DSM-5 / ICD-10 coding), Ann Hartman Ecological Ecomaps with directional energy flow, and NSGC-compliant Medical Pedigree Charts with OMIM condition linkage. 2. Trauma and Somatics: Window of Tolerance autonomic regulation, Polyvagal Ladders (ventral vagal, sympathetic, dorsal shutdown), Trauma Lifelines (NET/FORNET), and Somatic Body Mapping with EMDR AIP trauma networks. 3. Dynamic and Parts Therapies: Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Mapping (Self, Managers, Firefighters, Exiles), Malan Triangle of Conflict and Persons, and Transactional Analysis (PAC structural ego states and Drama Triangles). 4. Cognitive and Behavioral: CBT 5-Factor Formulation (Beck hot-cross-bun model with vicious loop detection), ACT Matrix and Hexaflex defusion, DBT Chain Analysis with real-time SUDS curves, Schema Therapy Mode Maps, and ABC Behavior Analysis. 5. Narrative, Affect, and Crisis: Narrative Therapy Externalizing (Landscape of Action vs Identity), Hero's Journey recovery formulation, Willcox and Plutchik Feelings Wheels, Moreno Sociograms, Johari Window disclosure matrices, Cycle of Abuse safety plans, and Congress Culturagram assessments.
