In 1999, I got to know Genexus and its power in the rapid development of database applications. At that time, we had an application developed in BBx (Business Basic) with a proprietary database, which was not Windows. Genexus helped us considerably and very quickly to migrate the application to Visual Basic. It was truly valuable to be on the Windows and SQL Server platform. What I liked most about this tool is how easy it is to interact with it; you don't need to be from a technology field. It's true that it will help you have more ideas and much more logic to solve current problems, but it doesn't limit you from gaining experience. The short time to have a test application helps to have a model very similar to the final one and to have clients with good expectations, offering stages or versions of it, not limiting it to being useful only when it's 100% complete, but allowing it to be enhanced and obviously improved with the versions.
