However, they follow European regulations, so that's the way it is. Their terms and conditions stipulate a €2 fee if you don't send any messages for 60 days. You can fix this by sending one message manually each month. **Recommendations to others considering GatewayAPI:** Due to the intensive onboarding process, you can't start using their services right away. Create your account during their office hours, and you'll always have someone available to chat with you. **What problems is GatewayAPI solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the web applications I build, I need a properly functioning API for sending SMS messages. The most significant aspect is their excellent customer support, which has been fast, reliable, and always helpful. **What do you dislike about GatewayAPI?** I don't like that EU service isn't the default for EU customers. When I receive an email, it sometimes directs me to the US version, and I have to switch manually. EU companies, like mine, prefer the EU version by default, and this is becoming increasingly important. **What problems is GatewayAPI solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use GatewayAPI to easily send SMS messages to customers based on purchases, and it allows tracking delivery status.
