## About Gadget
Gadget is an AI-assisted full-stack hosting and development platform with a built-in framework to code, debug, deploy, and scale JS web apps, Shopify apps, and internal tools. Every project comes fully hosted with a database, backend, frontend, API, and all the development tooling you need to spin up JS web apps in seconds, and an AI assistant that has all the content, capabilities and conventions to do it all for you. Too much development time is wasted on building the same infrastructure and table stakes features again and again. Stop wasting endless cycles on undifferentiated work, and get serverless infrastructure, core features like auth and billing, glue code, and scalability out of the box. Write the fun code that addresses user problems and leave the computer problems for Gadget to solve. Gadget gives you a Node.js backend, a Postgres database, a React frontend, a custom API, and a framework that keeps your entire stack interconnected and context-aware. Everything is fully hosted and available on a live URL from the moment you create a project, and includes cloud infrastructure, built-in connections to popular APIs, fully-extensible development environments, and the ability to deploy your entire app in a single click. The built-in AI assistant is trained on teaching you Gadget and helping you across every part of the development experience: data modeling, sample data generation, code generation, debugging, and general Q&A. Build anywhere using Gadget's cloud IDE, or develop locally with your preferred tools. Build projects with a zero-setup, serverless, context-aware Node.js backend, a pixel-perfect production-grade React frontend powered by Vite, and a globally accessible Postgres database that automatically scales. Work the way you want, with the option to use Git, branch, merge, and run CI/CD from anywhere. Get unlimited, free development environments that you can clone for new team members in just one click. Streamline knowledge sharing with auto-generated docs and code samples. Effortlessly deploy performant production applications with a single click or CLI command.

## Gadget Reviews
 ### 1. Gadget is a Game-Changer for Shopify App Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam W. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Gadget?**

We have been building poscafe.app on Gadget and we absolutely love working with the Gadget platform. Gadget really helps us to accelerate our development and the Gadget team is extremely helpful when we have questions or challenges. We love the consistent improvements and updates that the team roll out, and we're excited to see what is next!

**What do you dislike about Gadget?**

Honestly, there's nothing we dislike about Gadget! Like any platform, there’s a small learning curve at the beginning, but the team’s support and documentation make it easy to get up to speed quickly.

**What problems is Gadget solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gadget solves a lot of the complexity around building and scaling Shopify apps. It removes the burden of setting up and maintaining infrastructure, authentication, and Shopify API integration, which means we can focus entirely on building the core features of POS Cafe. By handling so much of the boilerplate and backend logic for us, Gadget significantly reduces our time to market and helps us build better apps faster.

 ### 2. Helped me ship apps fast while they take care of all the repetitive work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Gadget?**

Gadget has been a joy to build on. I’ve shipped multiple public and private apps, including one I recently sold. Thanks to how quickly the platform lets me move. The “magical” SDK generation dramatically reduces boilerplate and gives you clean, well-typed APIs out of the box.

It integrates well with Shopify and the data sync and API version updates worked seamlessly, getting started was also really simple because they host and runs the app so I got a working dev url in seconds making the implementation faster than I could have imagined.

The team is also exceptionally helpful and responsive, and it’s obvious how far the product has come, feature-rich, thoughtful DX, and ready for serious workloads.

**What do you dislike about Gadget?**

Nothing major so far. Any small questions I’ve had were quickly addressed by the docs or their support team.

**What problems is Gadget solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gadget lets me go from idea to revenue fast. I don’t have to wrestle with scaffolding, auth, or tedious glue code, the generated SDK and platform primitives handle it so I can focus on product. It’s battle tested and scales cleanly, which gave me the confidence to launch and grow real apps. If you’re building saas products and want to ship quickly without compromising reliability, Gadget is an easy recommendation.

Brilliant tool and a brilliant team. I am using Gadget to build out all my agency apps, migrating over from more legacy frameworks

Using Gadget allows us to focus on what we are good at, building apps, rather than devops

Highly recommend

**What do you dislike about Gadget?**

The documentation can be a little lacking and hard to follow at times.

The AI tool is good, but also does fail fairly frequently, especially with larger requests

**What problems is Gadget solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to focus on building the products, rather than managing servers
