I would tell other online sellers… if you’re working on performance strategies and increased sales with less worries on logistics just get FBA. It will solve everything. Literally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Be planned with the products to sell well and have the necessary knowledge about the products you like to sell. Even Though I am unable to utilise all the above ( with my preferred brands yet ) due to some local disturbances, I can clearly suggest these to you and never take as an advice as I do not like the term advice itself because it is disturbing always because the advisor and the recipient may be in different "spaces" on most ( 99%) of the cases. What problems is Fulfillment by Amazon solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nothing and as I have sent lot of items using FBA, looking forward for more items to send through if my external atmosphere not related to the platform goes well. "Fulfillment By Amazon Works Great!"

We sell products through our online store on Amazon. We only sell products online and we sold some through Shopify but FBA is useful for shipping, customer service, and warehousing capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Fulfillment by Amazon?

I love that Amazon handles all of the shipping processes and they also have customer service if needed. I don't have to worry about any of the preparation processes or for example they have a service where they can stick on the UPC or the barcode for you with a sticker. But you can also just put the barcode on your packaging as long as you can read it. Either way it works out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulfillment by Amazon?

The fees can be a little outrageous in my opinion. It was a bit difficult to navigate the fees if you've never sold a product with them before. After a longer period of time all of these fees come up and you just have to do some investigation in order to find out the reason for the charge. But after some time, you learn which fees they charge so you can plan ahead for your profit margins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Make sure that you take all of the fees into consideration because sometimes they have a tendency to sneak up on you. But I would say that once you've gone through and sold a few products, you have. a better understanding of all of the fees that are included. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- avoiding delay in shipping

- avoiding errors when having multiple items for shipping in the same day

- giving customers better view on when their products was shipped and when it will arrive (the arriving date is about 97% accurate)

When we decided to sell on Amazon, we knew we wanted our products to be "prime" eligible. It made sense for the audience we were trying to reach. We also wanted the shipping out of our hands. It was great having that taken care of so we could focus our the majority of our part time operation on product development and marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Fulfillment by Amazon?

Warehouse and shipping handled for us. A great service if you know what you are getting into ($$$) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulfillment by Amazon?

We sold via Shopify as well as on Amazon directly. There were some hiccups getting our Shopify backend to understand FBA, if that makes sense. Ended up working out ok, but sometimes we lost $ in the shipping calculations- what Shopify calculated for the customer to pay vs what we paid Amazon. I'm not sure which product to "blame" for this, but I'm sure many others have encountered this same issue. Something to ask Amazon support about if you are going to use Shopify and FBA together.

Our products were an odd shape, so we had an issue getting a fair storage price in Amazon's warehouses.

As a small, family-owned business, we felt like FBA fees in combination with Amazon's sales cuts really tore us apart. I think FBA might make more sense for a larger corporate sales structure. Our revenue was so much smaller than . we would have guessed (some hidden fees) and while our business had other issues, FBA certainly contributed to the issues which led to us pulling our items from Amazon. What do you like best about Fulfillment by Amazon?

Not having to fulfil customer orders and the opportunity to speak to a help centre person is better than just email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulfillment by Amazon?

All the additional labelling, it can be quite complicated when using multiple skus.

Also, in previous role, the stock management team didn’t like the fact that stock wasn’t sold, despite being in a different warehouse. Hard to keep track of where your stock is.
