"Easy Task Tracking and Clear Timeline View in Freelo"
4/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

What I like best about Freelo is that I can easily keep track of all tasks assigned to me, and the timeline view helps me clearly see what deadlines and tasks are coming up next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

What I dislike about Freelo is the different pricing tiers. Even though I already pay for it, some features are still locked behind a higher plan, and it often pushes me to upgrade and pay more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freelo: A User-Friendly Solution for Sports Clubs"
5/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

It’s easy to use and to collaborate with other members of our team. I often use the integration with Google Mail to create a task directly from an email. For a nonprofit organisation, the price isn’t cheap; nevertheless, they offer a discount for mutual collaboration. They also offered help at the beginning, which was useful for getting started. I know Freelo has an Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature, but I haven’t used it yet. I have never had a performance issue, the system is always handy (web, mobile phone). What do you dislike about Freelo?

The worst part is that some people on the team still haven’t adopted the system yet. But to be fair, that’s not Freelo’s fault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Like Spanish: Easy to Use in the Beginning, but Difficult to Adapt the More Sophisticated Features"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

Overview, check-boxes, multi-level tasks. When creating a task you can add instructions. When creating sub-tasks, you can add multiple at once (but if you want to add different details to the sub-tasks like different deadline or person who is to solve it, you already have to open it separately). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I do not really find it intuitive. If you do not spend sufficient time and energy (for a beginner it may take more of that to spend there) to personalise the settings, it will not be as great as it can be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A smart and intuitive assistant for managing projects"
4/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

I like that I can have a clear list of all tasks in one place with deadlines and possible priority. At the same time, notifications remind me of upcoming task deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I don’t like that there’s no option to set an hourly rate per user. Instead, it has to be set separately for each project, or you have to switch to the more expensive Business tariff.

I also don’t like that it isn’t possible to show even the lowest-level tasks (checklist items) on the dashboard, so the person responsible has to keep them in their head. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Managing multiple projects"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

Overview, checkboxes, and multi-level tasks are all covered. When you create a task, you can add instructions, which is helpful for clarifying what needs to be done. When creating sub-tasks, you can add several at once, but if you want to include different details for each sub-task like a different deadline or the person responsible you still need to open each one separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

Nothing special. At times, you really have to force yourself to type out everything you need in a free-form message, instead of using the other communication methods you’re used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freelo: One place for team work, own projects, and life. Keeping complex projects simple"
4/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

What I like most about Freelo is how clearly everything is organized when working on projects with colleagues. It’s easy to see who is responsible for what, and the task statuses (whether something is in progress or already finished) make the whole workflow much more transparent.

I also really appreciate that it reduces the need for excessive email communication. Having everything in one place helps avoid mistakes that can happen when emails get overlooked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

If I had to mention something I don’t enjoy as much about Freelo, it would probably be the homepage layout. Personally, I would find it more intuitive if it offered a tile-based overview of individual projects, so I could quickly get a visual sense of everything at once.

The filtering system is definitely strong and flexible, and I can see how it works well for many users. However, I tend to prefer more of a “helicopter view” – a dashboard where I can see multiple projects and their key tasks in one place without needing to apply filters.

Sometimes I feel like I need a bit more of that high-level overview to stay fully oriented, especially when juggling several projects at the same time. A slightly more visual and summary-driven dashboard would make the experience even smoother for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralize Tasks and Communication with Great Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

I like that Freelo is intuitive and offers graphical versions like Kanban or Gantt views, which greatly facilitate project organization and tracking. I appreciate that it can intercommunicate with email to receive daily or personalized notifications, which is useful for not forgetting tasks and organizing the day. It also solves problems of lack of visibility about who is doing what, by centralizing tasks, communication, and tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I think maybe the mobile application could be a bit more fluid. Like the desktop version. And there are some tools at the beginning, like the subtasks, that could also be improved in the mobile version, but it's not something critical. For me, the challenge is the levels of possibility for comments both in subtasks and tasks. And I've already seen that with the teams, we occasionally get lost in that. People are commenting on tasks, at the supra level, and yet also simultaneously on subtasks at the concrete level, so the dialogue and continuity are somewhat lost. "Efficient Project Management with Freelo"
4/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

I find Freelo to be a useful project management tool that helps keep tasks and communication organized in one place. It offers practical features for planning and tracking team work, making day-to-day organization easier. I like the task overview and the hierarchy of tasks, which give a clear picture of where everything stands. The 'done' button is a nice touch, and I appreciate being able to link documents from Google and other platforms. We all can communicate on one platform, which helps ensure the project is done in time. The initial setup was easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I wish Freelo had more under to-do lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear Team Visibility and Easy Status Updates for Better Work Distribution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

Yes, it's a system that our director started using so he could distribute work and control projects, and I enjoy the specific clarity of seeing what's happening in my team, what's happening in our entire company, that is, the school, and I also like that I can report on the status of my work so that others know how busy I am or how much capacity I have so they can consult with me on other things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I'm a little disappointed with the company that it spams my email very violently, urging me with a lot of things, weekly reports, etc., and initially, before I set the filter to suit me, it was quite annoying and limiting for me. And it took away my desire to work with this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple yet powerful tool for team organization"
5/5
What do you like best about Freelo?

The software is simple to use and it helps a lot with organizing tasks in our team. I like that there are several levels of hierarchy when it comes to tasks (projects, to-do lists, tasks, sub-tasks) which allows us to plan and organize our work in detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I don't have any major dislikes when it comes to Freelo. However, I would appreciate it if there were an option to rearrange the order of the projects and to-do lists on my dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
