## Forward Enterprise Reviews
  ### 1. Awesome Auto-Discovery and Layer 2/3 Network Mapping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniil A. | Senior Mobile App Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The auto discovery is really cool. I plugged it into my network and after about an hour it had already found and mapped all of the devices on my network and threw up some alerts. The buss is running behind schedule and I am just sitting here looking at it discover everything I knew I had on the network. The Layer 2 / 3 visual Map of your Network is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Initial configuration is slow especially if you want to create custom reports. The custom reports are somewhat outdated looking. Also, the need for the server to run on windows is annoying and I do not know why they could not use linux.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we would have to either try to determine if the problem was with the application, network or both, etc. Now when a test fails or when something goes down; I can go back and check if there was a spike in resources or an outage occurring at the same time and it also monitors the remote branch devices so I do not have to sit around waiting for someone to contact me to inform me that a router is down.

  ### 2. It’s a game-changer for network and cloud visibility, but the learning curve is quite steep

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivani S. | Cloud Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

My team is in charge of the architecture that links our on-premise Hadoop clusters to AWS data lakes. I am a Cloud Data Engineer at a large company. Forward Enterprise is great for my everyday job because it shows us how our big hybrid network works. Before, when a data pipeline broke down, we would spend hours arguing with the NetOps team over whether it was a firewall block or an application timeout. I now use their Network Query Engine (NQE) to quickly see if there is a clear path between our on-premises Kafka brokers and our AWS Redshift servers in the cloud. The "digital twin" component of the math lets me identify exactly where traffic is dropping, whether it's a Cisco ASA firewall policy or an AWS Security Group misconfiguration, without having to enter in as an admin to those devices. It has turned our troubleshooting from a frustrating guessing game into concrete, undeniable proof.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The technology is quite strong yet it can be frustrating for data engineers. To start, developing bespoke NQE queries is not easy. I had to read their instructions for days simply to develop a simple script that tests the connection between our ETL servers because it utilises its own data model and syntax. I wish it came with built-in query templates that were made for popular cloud data architectures. Also, when we added Forward Enterprise's REST API to our CI/CD pipelines (we use Jenkins and Terraform to automate network checks before setting up new data clusters), the API documentation seemed a little thin, and we sometimes had trouble with timeouts when pulling topology data for our biggest and most complicated network segments.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem this platform solves for us is discovering the "silent network failures" that interrupt our automatic data processing without warning. Last month, a real-life example happened: our monthly Apache Airflow DAGs, which sync gigabytes of client data to Snowflake, unexpectedly stopped working at 2 AM because the connections timed out. It would have taken a week of sending IT tickets and meeting with folks from different teams to work this out. I could see straight away that a new Palo Alto firewall rule was silently destroying the packets when I entered into the Forward Enterprise dashboard and did a path analysis between our on-prem data warehouse IP and the Snowflake endpoint. I exported the blocked path view, added it to the Jira ticket, and the networking team changed the policy in 15 minutes. It completely closes the communication gap between the data and networking teams, which saves us a lot of time when production is down.

  ### 3. With Forward Enterprise, I can see right away how any network changes might affect our traffic

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | Network security engineer, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

Forward Enterprise offers unrivaled visibility of our network; it generates a complete, searchable model of our entire network state. I particularly like its path analysis feature which enables us to follow precise data paths over complicated infrastructure in real time, a key aspect of troubleshooting.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The first stage of data collection and modeling could be computationally intensive and time consuming, particularly in very large and heterogeneous networks. Although the knowledge is potent, the steepness of the learning curve is quite high before new users can make use of all the advanced features.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise has transformed how we do our network operations and security assurance. In the past, the process of troubleshooting problems in connectivity used to take hours of manual CLI commands and trial and error, resulting in prolonged downtime and frustration. With this, we are able to identify the minute path anomalies, which will save a lot of time.

  ### 4. Better visibility and safer updates across complex environments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha G. | Cloud solutions architect, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What stands out to me about Forward Enterprise is how it simplifies network visibility in one place. I rely on it often, so its frequency of use is consistent in my workflow. It connects well with tools like ServiceNow and our cloud setup, which makes integration valuable. The number of features allows me to simulate changes before rollout. Implementation went fairly well, and it helped me reduce mistakes when preparing network updates.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

What I don’t like is that it has a lot going on, and that can make it hard to grasp in the beginning. The implementation phase was longer than expected since we had to learn many functions. Because of the high number of features, some parts remain unused in daily work. This affects frequency of use for less experienced colleagues, and it sometimes slows down tasks when we need quick results.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise mainly helps me reduce risk in network operations. Before using it, we relied more on assumptions, but now I can test everything first. Its integration with other tools keeps processes connected, and I use it regularly because of that. The number of features supports different use cases in my work.

  ### 5. Shared inbox finally works the way it should

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amina T. | Head of Client Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

Conversation ownership is the thing that changed everything for our team. Before Forward Enterprise a message would land in the shared inbox and three people would see it and assume one of the others was handling it. That pattern generated more client complaints than anything else in our operation and it stopped almost immediately once every conversation had a clear owner attached to it. The visibility into who is handling what and where things stand has made our team leads significantly more confident in what they can commit to during client conversations.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Search across archived conversations could be faster and more precise especially when trying to pull up older threads during a live client call.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our client communication was happening across individual inboxes with no central record of what had been said to whom and by which team member. When someone went on leave or left the team entirely that relationship history either disappeared or required significant effort to reconstruct and clients noticed the discontinuity every time. Forward Enterprise centralised that history so any team member can pick up a client thread with full context regardless of who handled it previously and the client experience improvement that has followed has shown up in our renewal conversations in a way that is difficult to attribute to anything else we changed in the same period.

  ### 6. Team inbox chaos turned into something we could actually manage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco D. | Customer Experience Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The universal login experience across our entire product suite has given our users a consistency that was impossible to achieve when authentication was handled differently across different parts of our application. Single sign on across multiple products now works seamlessly and the feedback from enterprise clients who require specific SSO configurations has shifted from a recurring support conversation to something that gets set up once and never mentioned again. The rules and actions framework has also let our team implement custom authentication logic without touching core application code which has kept our security layer clean and independently maintainable.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The mobile experience lags behind the desktop in ways that matter for team members who need to stay across conversations while away from their desk.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accountability gaps in our client communication were creating a pattern where important messages were being seen by multiple people and acted on by nobody. Forward Enterprise made ownership explicit at the conversation level and the downstream effect on our response times and client satisfaction scores has been significant enough that our customer success director now references it when presenting team performance to leadership. The audit trail has also become genuinely useful during client escalations because we can reconstruct the full history of a communication thread instantly rather than piecing it together from individual inboxes under pressure.

  ### 7. Huge Time-Saver for Network Path Analysis and Compliance Audits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshul C. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I used to have to chase three different people to figure out why traffic wasn't getting to a certain location. I am talking about full path analysis, policy validation, and reachability tests from one spot. The compliance part is very good as you can validate your actual network behavior against your intended policy and it will point out the gaps without you having to search for them. I'm sitting here with a cup of cold coffee and I keep thinking about all the hours this has saved my team with audit’s alone.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

If you want to get true value from the tool, you are going to have to write actual SQL queries. There is no click around and see what you need option for anything beyond the basic functions. The documentation provides the “what” but doesn’t provide much detail on the “how.” Yes I know exactly what the function does but where is an example of someone using it in a real world situation. The data in the results views also truncate at times and makes no logical sense. I’m straining to look at a device name that is being cut off in the middle.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With forward enterprise we can model the changes prior to implementing them. The ability to view the entire network from one pane allows our incident response team to start their investigations from a known point. This has reduced the amount of time spent investigating by our team significantly.

  ### 8. Proactive Validation & Change Impact Analysis Transform Network Operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kalpesh P. | Technical Head - Cloud Services, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I like Forward Enterprise for its proactive network validation and change impact analysis, which help ensure SLA compliance and reduce MTTR by providing end-to-end path visibility. The ability to validate configurations before deployment, reducing outages, and the pre-change validation along with deterministic network behavior analysis significantly reduce change failure rates. I find the network digital twin and intent verification especially useful in enabling safe pre-change validation and reducing production risks. Its end-to-end path analysis and multi-vendor support work very well, improving troubleshooting efficiency and SLA compliance across multiple customer environments. Once integrated, Forward Enterprise automates network modeling and validation, improving ongoing service delivery efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

From a service delivery view, reporting, dashboards, and customer-facing insights could be more customizable to align better with SLA reporting and executive-level visibility. Reporting can improve SLA-driven dashboards and customer-specific views to better align with service delivery KPIs. Adding executive summaries with risk scoring and an easier API/BI integration (e.g, ServiceNow) would enhance customer-facing insights and automated reporting. The initial setup is complex especially in large environments with multiple customers and vendors, requiring device onboarding and access configuration.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise helps with proactive network validation and change impact analysis, ensuring SLA compliance and reducing MTTR. It solves change-related risk and limited network visibility by validating configurations, reducing outages, and improving incident troubleshooting across complex environments.

  ### 9. Hybrid Cloud Visibility and Network Intent Verification A Digital Twin of Hybrid Clouds.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eisha A. | Cloud Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

Being a Cloud Engineer who has to deal with a complex hybrid architecture, which includes AWS, Azure, plus the old, on-premise data centers, end-to-end visibility is the most significant problem I must tackle on a daily basis. This is masterfully handled by Forward Enterprise who constructs a mathematically precise digital twin of our complete network footprint.

The Network Query Engine (NQE) is the most useful one to my workflow. It basically considers our whole infrastructure; cloud routing tables, VPC security groups, loads balancers and physical firewalls as one unified relational database, which I can query. The hop-by-hop path analysis is superior. When an application team says that there is a connectivity time out between a cloud microservice and an on-premise database, I can immediately visualize the traffic flow across our cloud transit gateways to physical switches. It actually indicates which particular rule in the Access Control List (ACL) or security group is discarding the packets, so that it no longer requires hours to logically sort through the logs before it finds the correct rule.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The first onboarding and exploration stage may be very vigorous. Since the platform will be configured with read-only access, to work efficiently, the coordination of collecting all the relevant API credentials, IAM roles, and SNMP strings across multiple cloud accounts and computed devices will need extensive interdepartmental collaboration with the Security and Netops teams.

Moreover, although the Network Query Engine (NQE) is so robust, it has a steep learning curve. Custom validation checks are very specific in syntax and need a good knowledge of their proprietary form. Last, the user interface is rich, but sometimes can be overwhelming and a bit slow to display huge, multi-cloud topology maps.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of Mean Time to Innocence is resolved successfully by Forward Enterprise in the case of critical outages. In the past, a problem with the hybrid cloud connectivity meant that people would be finger-pointing with the Cloud, Network, and Security teams as each team was on a different dashboard. Forward gives us but one undisputed source of truth.

The most valuable advantage to me is active security and compliance checking. It is on the platform that we constantly test our network intent. We can check whether the changes will be against our security policies (e.g. production VPCs should not be allowed to access development zones at all) before deploying new infrastructure as code (IaC). It has significantly lowered our times of incidents resolution and avoided some significant misconfigurations to go to production.

  ### 10. It keeps our cross departmental projects organized and on track

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nela P. | Senior team lead, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The best thing about Forward Enterprise is that it will keep me organized with tasks and deadlines in various departments. The features make it easy to allocate duties, arrange approvals, and keep record of which duties are pending to be done or done. It also integrates effectively with our internal messages and email systems, hence, team communication remains stable. I use it very often as I base my day to day activities on it, and nothing gets left behind.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

A weakness that I have identified is that establishing multiple step workflow on large projects may be time consuming. Control is provided by the number of features, but detailed task sequences create an additional workload. The process of getting complex approvals across multiple departments may slow down the process, and this at times affects my rate of use in cases where I have to initiate multiple projects simultaneously.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise is the solution to a significant issue we encountered in maintaining order of tasks and approvals between teams. Prior to its use, coordination of various projects used to be a continuous back and forth process through emails and messaging applications. The features provide me with the ability to distribute the tasks, monitor progress, and have clear responsibility regarding each step.

  ### 11. Clearer visibility into enterprise network structures

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian G. | Systems operations analyst, Import and Export, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The greatest benefit of Forward Enterprise as far as it pertains to my situation is that it makes our engineers aware of the company network structure and the manner in which it can be adjusted to. I work on infrastructure activities of a logistics infrastructure, and in the past we have been relying on fragmented documentation to describe how devices relate to each other. The amount of features that indicate network paths and dependencies is really useful when discussing planning.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The weakness of Forward Enterprise is that the team should maintain records of infrastructure maintenance of the enterprise on a regular basis. There is a high level of change in our network space especially new services being introduced. The breadth of the features in the platform suggests that there are many details that should be peeped at such changes. In case the information is not updated in time, the conversations on the planned adjustment may not be so trustworthy.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my day to day practice Forward Enterprise manages to resolve the issue of missing documentation of infrastructure. Our IT department relied on diagrams and spreadsheets which rapidly became outdated before their use. The count of features to explain relationships between devices and their configuration paths provides our engineers with a more objective view of the way things are linked.

  ### 12. Granular Access Controls Made Easy with Forward Enterprise!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benedikt S. | Customer Experience Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The permission and access control structure in Forward Enterprise is where it really separates itself from lighter tools. I can set up exactly who sees what across departments without it becoming a configuration nightmare. For a company our size that kind of granular control is not a nice to have it is essential and Forward Enterprise delivers it without much fuss.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The onboarding process for new departments is heavier than I expected. Getting a fresh team configured and trained takes more time than the sales process suggested it would.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a serious visibility problem across our customer facing teams. Different departments were using different tools and there was no unified way to track communication accountability at the leadership level. Forward Enterprise gave us one system of record for all external conversations and our audit and compliance teams specifically have called it out as a meaningful improvement.

  ### 13. A tool that makes complex networks visible and easier to manage!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar H. | Network Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I really like how Forward Enterprise builds a digital twin of my entire network and lets me search it like a database. I no longer have to guess where traffic goes or which firewall rule is blocking something – it shows me the actual paths and device behavior before I make changes. That clarity has saved me tons of time and reduced risk when troubleshooting network issues.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The Network Query Engine is powerful but there’s a steep learning curve. Mastering its proprietary syntax takes effort, and that slowed my team down at first.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform solves the nightmare of not knowing how my network behaves across on-prem and cloud environments. It brings all the configuration and state data together and shows me every possible path and policy compliance quickly. That means fewer outages and a much faster way to verify changes and security posture, so our operations are more reliable and predictable.

  ### 14. Structured approach to network change management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto T. | Information security operations lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The thing I find more appealing about Forward Enterprise is that it makes the change impact discussion more clear. As an expert in network security in a retail company, I have to use it regularly prior to significant firewall upgrades. It graphically displays traffic routes and policy course in a manner that facilitates higher productivity of meetings. The adoption even made us to tidy up old rules, which was in fact an advantage. There are more features surrounding the validation of the policies and this makes me feel more confident before I give consent to changes.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

One disadvantage is that Forward Enterprise needs accurate configuration inputs to deliver credible results. Incomplete data of devices may create uncertainty in the output. In our instance, we were forced to put in an additional effort to verify firewall exports before putting all our trust in the system. Since it is used regularly, any irregularity will come up and raise the review time. The amount of features is useful, but perhaps it is overwhelming in the process of troubleshooting as to why a situation is not behaving as it should.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of uncertainty concerning firewall and routing modifications is resolved by Forward Enterprise. We were also very dependent on manual peer reviews prior to using it hence making it prone to error. We now try in scenarios prior to implementation and we notice risky exposures at an earlier stage. I apply it regularly, and it has minimized internal arguments since the choices are supported by evidence modeled. It is useful in my team since it helps to avoid misconfigurations that can cause a breakdown in customer-facing systems.

  ### 15. Revolutionizing Network Management with Precision and Assurance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Archana S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I like Forward Enterprise's mathematically accurate network digital twin that models real control-plane and data-plane state, which gives precise visibility of the network state. Its deterministic path analysis is great for accelerating root cause analysis, and the pre-change validation prevents outages by simulating routing and policy impact before deployment. It enables confident, risk-free network operations across multi-vendor and hybrid cloud environments.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The initial onboarding and device data collection can be more challenging in large multi-vendor environments. Model computation time increases with very large-scale networks. Advanced Queries requires skilled network professionals to maximize the value. The initial setup was very straightforward and structured for small environments, but the complexity increased when we scaled to multi-vendor environments and fragmented credential management.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Forward Enterprise to resolve complex troubleshooting with deterministic L2-L7 path computation, address security misconfiguration, and track compliance gaps with automated, audit-ready network verification, giving precise visibility of network state and preventing outages with pre-change validation.

  ### 16. Network clarity finally in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel S. | Network Security Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I like how Forward Enterprise gives me a live picture of all networks across data centers and cloud. I can see pathways and policy hits at a glance. It replaced a bunch of manual spreadsheets and ad hoc tools with one system that actually matches real traffic. The interface is clean and lets me trace an endpoint to another quickly without guessing where ACL rules or firewalls might block it.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The setup process took longer than expected because integrating all device types required careful mapping. Some of the automated discovery results needed tuning to match our real naming.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise solved the chaos of understanding who can talk to what across our hybrid cloud and on-prem gear. Before we were chasing differences in configs and hoping for the best after changes. Now we simulate changes first and catch mistakes early. That has reduced outages and given us confidence when updating firewalls or adding new segments.

  ### 17. Forward Enterprise’s NQE + Forward AI Make Hybrid Network Troubleshooting Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruchik P. | Senior Cloud Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

For a Cloud Data Engineer like myself, the best feature is the Network Query Engine (NQE). Generally, when our data pipelines are broken as on-prem and aws nodes cannot communicate with each other we have to wait hours until the network team reports which firewall is blocking. However, with Forward Enterprise I can do a search on the network as if I am querying a SQL database. The idea is very powerful. It maps our entire hybrid set up completely. I can trace the "hop-by-hop" path from my local server to the S3 bucket/or RDS instance. And, the new Forward AI is extremely useful because I can simply ask in plain speak why a […] It saves us so much “Mean Time to Innocence,” because we can very quickly prove the problem is in the network and not our data code.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The first process is a little cumbersome. You require all the necessary permissions and API access for every one of your cloud accounts and physical routers, which needs discussion with the security team. The NQE syntax is also somewhat proprietary. It is somewhat like a database but still, you need to invest some weeks in it before you can formulate heavy query perfectly. I would like to see more "out-of-the-box" templates related to data flow monitoring (between multi-clouds).

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We Make Hybrid Cloud Architecture "Blind Spots" Go Away Before, we were guessing where the packet dropped. With the Path Search feature, however, we can examine precisely where traffic is permitted or blocked.
What is the major advantage? Predictive Analysis. For example, prior to my team performing a large data migration or exposing a new port for a Kafka stream, we’re able to “predict” what the change would look like in Forward Enterprise. It tells us whether our change is going to violate any existing security policy. That equates more stability for our production data pipelines.

  ### 18. Deep network visibility that actually feels usable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo R. | IT Infrastructure Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What I like most is how Forward Enterprise builds a full digital twin of the network. It gives a clear view of everything without needing extra tools or agents. I can search the network like a database and quickly understand paths and dependencies. It also helps a lot with troubleshooting. Instead of guessing where the issue is, I can verify paths and see exactly what is happening across cloud and on prem environments. That saves a lot of time in daily operations.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The initial setup and learning curve can feel heavy especially if you are not deeply into networking.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of not having full visibility into complex networks. Before this I had to rely on multiple tools and still did not get a complete picture.

  ### 19. Reliable support for secure infrastructure changes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiasz F. | Solutions Architect - Networking, Recreational Facilities and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I appreciate its ability to enhance inter departmental communication. Previously, arguments on firewall and routing decisions used to be opinions based. In Forward Enterprise, we do a review of the anticipated traffic behavior prior to making changes. It is frequently used when we update our infrastructure, especially when we connect new logistics platforms to our environment. Its validation features minimise the conflicts and provide all parties with more definite expectations, thus making project coordination easier and more predictable.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

One of the weaknesses that I have observed is the necessity to keep the information about the devices continuously updated. Where synchronization is less than ideal we waste more time in verification of results with production equipment. In the implementation process, our team used to spend countless hours matching configurations and policies. Because we rely on it on a regular basis, even minimal differences cause hesitations ahead of changes, which at times slows scheduled releases and escalates the workload.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise addresses the ambiguity of the change risk in the network. In e-commerce business, a downturn has a direct impact on sales. We ensure that not only are routing paths and security policies validated prior to implementation but also that service disruption occurs by accident. During release cycles, the frequency of use is high as we cannot afford failed updates. It fosters confidence within a team and minimizes emergency troubleshooting that will enable us to innovate more and less on the recovery of mistakes that can be avoided.

  ### 20. Polygraph Feature Makes Incident Response Faster and Clearer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam M. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I go back to the polygraph feature all the time – it really is a diagram showing you how all parts of your network are talking to each other and when you receive an alert you can actually follow the path as opposed to looking at logs and trying to guess. I am writing this while sitting on my couch, and honestly that has saved me hours during incident response.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Setting up is serious business and not minor – onboarding is tough, cloud integration is dependent upon prerequisites that are not always clearly stated, and if you do not have someone on your team that already has experience with cloud security then you will have some difficulty getting started. The dashboard is somewhat confusing to use and creating custom views is not easy at all. Petty annoyance but it irks me: the status of vulnerabilities only update once daily, so you sit around waiting for 24 hours for the fix to be cleared in the platform after you apply the fix, and you cannot manually trigger an update.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using this many teams used multiple tools for these pieces of the puzzle and things would fall through the cracks between them. Having all the components of risk management (misconfigurations, exposed workloads, etc.) in one view along with the ability to show a stakeholder the exact location of their risk and show your process, allows you to demonstrate accountability.

  ### 21. Tool That Helps To Validates Automation, Boosts Pipeline Speed and NQE Tha Creates Friction.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad L. | Founder and CEO, Computer Networking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The Application Team's self service capability through the API is incredibly useful for the our Application Team. One example of this is the Slackbot we developed that lets application owners ask, can my new application communicate with the database? and in response to that question, the API will provide an immediate validated path analysis.

By providing this level of visibility into the network, it reduces the amount of time spent on lower level connectivity allowing my core network team to spend more time on designing the overall structure.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The way NQE is setup is a major bump in the road due to its proprietary syntax, it is an amazing piece of technology, no doubt, but forcing our dev team that develops only in Go and Python to learn a new query language just to interact with this feature increases our workload and causes additional work for us. To further compound the problem, we have to spend developer time writing wrapper libraries to make the NQE usable by the rest of the engineering team.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise provides us a Solution for one of the greatest pain points in our infra as-code pipelines so we get confidence in an automated network changes that we do.
Prior to Forward, when an application team requested an enhancement to be deployed requiring a firewall or routing change, we would need to stop the CI or CD pipeline and manually conduct pre-flight checks and validate the change for hours.
This was a tremendous bottleneck for our deployment velocity. Forward has improved our ability to deliver software by allowing us to develop a digital twin, mathematically rigorous, as our only validation point.
Our application developers are able to work faster because they can use the API to check the predicted network state after a proposed change.
If this fails either the security or availability intent tests, the pipeline immediately fails. Through this process, our developers gain confidence that an automated change will not result in a network failure.

  ### 22. Network Validation Tool Excels at diagnosis but Disappoints Automation Experts.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Percy Y. | Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The only difficulty solved well by this solution is our old documentation. Every time we modified the network, the Visio drawings became instantly outdated, and we would constantly be trying to troubleshoot using drawings that were four years old. Forward Enterprise provides advantage with a live, constantly updated, up-to-date topology map for the network, providing a single verifiable view of the physical connectivity as well as inventory of devices that auditors appreciate. Forward Enterprise has essentially provided a mechanism that allows the documentation of the network to be handled by a machine.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

This map is very costly, and I don't like how often the hype around Automation falls flat when it comes to actual engineering.
The platform is designed to find a problem However, it doesn't actually provide you with anything to help you fix that problem. The platform is designed as a passive tool. When I have a device that doesn't comply with my policies, Forward will show me where it is however, I have to go into my Automation tool and manually resolve the issue myself.
This leaves a gap in operations. Forward has access to all of this data but has not implemented a solution to use the information.

We need one place for verification and orchestration, not just for verification but also with an easy way to orchestrate an automated response without needing a complex pipeline to simplify this process.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The sole solution that Forward Enterprise rendered the best is to the roads/infrastructure of the organization, the diagrams created via Visio just went out of date after the network changed, causing us to go back to drawings that were four or more years old to troubleshoot. With Foward enterprise, we realized the benefit of being able to always refer to an updated and verifiable view of physical connectivity and device inventory that auditors liked.
the system takes care of the cumbersome issue of if the organization needs to document its network automatically taking the work of documenting the network away from the user and assigning it to the machine.

  ### 23. Deterministic Network Modeling for Risk Reduction

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shivam d. | Manager IT infra, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I like Forward Enterprise for its deterministic network modeling and real-time verification across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Its ability to simulate changes pre-deployment is a feature we appreciated a lot, as it significantly helps reduce risk and improve change management confidence. The tool strengthens our organization's security governance and our customers' as well. It's been instrumental in enhancing our organization's change reliability, reducing outage risks, and improving security policy validation.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

It should improve in deeper native integration with ITSM/CI-CD pipelines for fully automated change validation workflows in very large multi-tenant customers. It should also enhance the multi-cloud abstraction visibility, and faster updates for highly dynamic workloads can also be optimized in real-time enterprise large-scale operations.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise eliminates configuration errors by simulating network changes pre-deployment, reducing production outages. It offers deterministic path analysis, policy validation, and drift detection that enhance security postures and compliance.

  ### 24. Huge Integration Potential, Which Allows to Resolve Millions of Network Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neeraj D. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The focus is on an API first approach with integration potential. A stunning REST API exists for all our digital twin functions. Opens a lot of abilities for us to incorporate the entire network into someting more undestanble for the team members, also since there is an API connection ability, now our team is working on integrating forward ent with our AI tools, it's still beeing build, but it will definetely reduce the high entrance level, and less tech people will be able to use it.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

I spend too much time defending the decision to use NQE insted of focusing on what it enable, it's easier to have thing done on python or yaml.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My focus is a code automation. The issue is validation, with forward ent I can solve the issues with NetDevOps. We use it to check the outcomes that any automated changes do before they are even pushed live. There no automated change that goes live unless the Forward check passes it's intent verification.

  ### 25. Good for Network Security Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Senior Network Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

There is one pure gold feature, which is zone to zone connectivity, for a security architect it's a must have. This tool clearly indecates the type of traffic allowed, partially allowed or denied between any two zones on the overall hybrid cloud build. With one click, I can confirm whether the cloud VPC created has provided any type of backdoor into the system. Helps to verifty our security settings, which is paramount for suporting authentic approach to security

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

When we have some security events happening, and I need some network exposure data integrated from our database,so I try to use the feature Forward Enterprise has, but the tool they have - blast radius indentification, doesn't work they way it should, so I am supposed to import everything manually

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise resolved the key issue of trust versus behaviour by allowing our team to verify that any system that we work with will perform as expected when subjected to external infuences. It does not matter how tight we have setup everything prior, if there is any type of drift in the settings, overnight their security posture will be down bad.

Also I am able to define what my security intents are for example if there must not be any route from the external network to the payment processing subnet, so with forward enterprise I can use advanced math models to provide support for those security intent checks with every snapshot of the system.

  ### 26. The only Tool The Helps my Business to Do Proper Configurations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick K. | Technology Consultant / CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I look through a very specific lens - M&A integration and msp scalability. when we acquire a company, I ingerit their thechnical debt, ususally it is a spaghetti mess of undocumented VLANs and shadow IT. Forward Enterprise solved this nightmare by mapping that chaos. It benefits me during that 90 day integration window where we need to merge networks without blowing up the P&L. It's the only tool that really works, and not just a marketing.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

It has a serious market fit problem for the channel. I spent years in this business field and wile this tech is good, the price and complexity make it a non starter for anyone manaing smbs. It's a Ferrari engine when most of the mid market just needs a reliable Toyota.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to find the thing I really look for. Being able to type (where is ip ...( and get a definitive answer across the whole cloud in milliseconds is powerful. It cuts through the tribal knowledge problem where only one guy named Dave know how the routing works.

  ### 27. Great Tech, but Needs a Business-Centric UX

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Senior Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What I do appreciate, purely from a strategic risk management angle, is the continuous compliance checking. The is the only part that immediately translates into a universal business win. The platform can continuosly verify that network configurations meet our internal or external requirements like HIPPA or GDPR depending on the client.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

I'll be blunt - I hate the way information is presented. This product is clearly built for high tech people. We talk about Digital Transformation and User Experience all day long, but this is a classic example of a tool with massive organizational value that fails at the final mile. If i ask my team for a compliance report to sahre with the HR audit comittee, the underlying data is too technical. I speaks entirely in NetOps language , not business risk or organization strategy. Also we have to create our own translation layer to integrate technical insights into our business dashboards. Which feels like unnecessary friction. It's definetly a great tech, but poor UX/EX

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise solves the problem of IT uncertainty impacting workforce capacity. I don't care about the hardware itself, but when network hoes down, my workforce stops working, and that costs us money and kills morale. We're deep into digital transformation, and everything relies on the sftware we use. The benefit is that it finally gives my folks a single source of immutable truth about the network security and performance. This means they spend less time troubleshooting, and I mean way less time which protects company productivity metrics.

Another thing is that it prevents major cyber incidents so I can keep my focus on developing our talent pipeline instead of fielding angry calls about dropped VPN sessions.

  ### 28. So Far I am Impressed with Forward Enterprise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett F. | Founder/CEO/IT Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I am happy with my decision to move forward with Forward Enterprise). After the initial demo call with Sales, I already know that me and my team will be doing audits to clients networks, checking devices connection and resolve configuration issues using this product. The dashboard view for the website is beautiful, it doesn't just show the views for the website, but also it's etiology, where it came from so we can really analyze that statistic and build our next steps to improve the security of their website.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

I fell like sometimes I have loss with their app, the report come out cluttered, so I might even need to re-download it for multiple times.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I shows so many inside statistics, has many reports types, for networks, devices, websites, now we don't search it for many hours by accessing webui's of devices. Overall it's a pretty simple service that provides accurate information about your our customers network, device or website on any time you need it.

  ### 29. Empowers My Team with Data and Streamlines Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron F. | Plant Manager, Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I love the collaborative features. The ability to tag team members, leave notes on work orders, and instantly message within the context of a specific asset keeps everyone on the same page. The dashboard is highly visual, making it easy to spot trends and bottlenecks at a glance. It's a very modern and user-friendly platform.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The per-user pricing model can make it expensive to roll out to every single employee in a large organization. We had to be strategic about who received a full license. Some of the terminology within the software is specific to the maintenance field and wasn't immediately intuitive for our operations staff, requiring a bit of initial training.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise solves the communication gap between the operations office and the maintenance floor. We use it for everything from enterprise asset management to daily employee scheduling. The benefit is a more connected and empowered team. Everyone has access to the same information, which reduces errors and misunderstandings. It has given us the data to prove our team's value and justify budget requests for new tools and equipment.

  ### 30. Strong security tool that sits quietly in the background!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan R. | Security Operations Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What I like most is that it protects our emails without me constantly thinking about it. The phishing detection catches a lot of suspicious messages before they ever reach my team which reduces stress and risk. Deployment was smoother than I expected and we did not have to disrupt normal work to roll it out. I also value the clear alerts that tell me exactly why an email was flagged instead of just blocking things blindly.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Sometimes legitimate emails get quarantined which creates extra checks for me. The admin dashboard can feel slightly technical when I just want a quick overview

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It significantly reduces phishing and impersonation threats that used to slip through our default email security. This has lowered the chances of credential theft and financial fraud inside our organization. My team now spends less time questioning suspicious emails and more time doing actual work.

  ### 31. Our team's responsibilities is finally clear and trackable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wictor P. | Customer success manager, Sports, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

My greatest strength with Forward Enterprise is the fact that it maintains all projects and assignments transparent. I use it daily so as to deal with deadlines, coordinate team duties, and progress. Such features as task summaries and approval tracking ensure that one can easily understand who is doing what and when. Its frequent use enhances planning and averts cases of mistakes or omissions in day to day operations.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The primary issue that frustrates me about Forward Enterprise is that it may require a lot more time than usual to accomplish the routine tasks due to the amount of steps required. Changes do not always appear instantly and it is a bit too cumbersome to switch between various projects. Such restrictions introduce minor delays and demand additional attention particularly when time is limited.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue that Forward Enterprise addresses is the lack of organisation in the project information and the lack of clarity in the responsibilities. It enables my team to keep track of activities, keep up with time limits, and make all team members aware of what they are supposed to do. There is less time wasted by the colleagues in clarifying priorities and tasks like approvals, scheduling and management of workload are much simpler. This enhances efficiency, minimizes errors and smooth movement of projects.

  ### 32. I finally know who’s doing what in our company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karoline T. | Project Planning Manager, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The fact that Forward Enterprise assists in organizing team tasks and timeframes is what appeals to me the most. Attaching it to Outlook and internal calendars, we will be able to see who works on what and when, and this will decrease the level of confusion and keep the projects on schedule. Such functions as the ability to assign tasks, track resources, and update progress will enable the team to plan the work effectively and prevent any bottlenecks. The daily use has enhanced visibility, accountability and general coordination between departments.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

A disadvantage is that it is time consuming to readjust several schedules in case of changing priorities. In case of unpredictable changes in the projects, the adjustment of the assignments and the schedule should be done with caution. Since the team works with it on a daily basis, the changes occasionally cause additional work and require thorough inspection as to ensure that all the plans are correct.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To eliminate the issues of vague roles and disjointed schedules, Forward Enterprise will most definitely help. Previously, one could hardly know who was doing what and when the work was due. Visual timelines, assigning tasks and tracking the workload now provide the team with clarity. This has enhanced accountability, minimized conflicts and assisted colleagues to accomplish projects without wasting time on unnecessary confusion.

  ### 33. Posture Verification & Pre-Change Policy Testing for Total Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel S. | Cyber security analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The aspect of posture verification and compliance is what appeals to me most. Knowing that I can test changes and validate security policies before even applying them to the real network gives me enormous peace of mind. It avoids that nervous feeling of causing downtime due to a configuration error.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The initial setup process and full integration with all network devices takes some work. It requires very meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the 'digital twin' is 100% true to reality. It's not something you install and start using in five minutes; it requires a considerable time investment in the setup.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is the guarantee of compliance and security posture in real time. It resolves the doubt about whether the network is truly following the policies we've defined. This benefits me because it automates a verification that would be impossible to do manually on a constant basis, giving me much more peace of mind during audits.

  ### 34. Reliable Cloud Sync and Network Security Provider for Design Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | Owner / Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I like to be inside of every process, this whole app is basically a dashboard that you just have to learn and start managing all the processes or issues. For us it helped to get rid of Real Time Portfolio Uploads issue. Also we were facing issues with our Network, and our IT assistant suggested to go with any type of application that can help with network security and reliability. And it actually helped, we were able to figure out the cause root of this issues, which was DDOS attacks on our ip-adress, after some manipulations

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Some analytics feel too technical, the features, interface everything lacks explanation, I understand that their main audience is IT specialists, but there are regular people who don't want to do it without overpaying directly.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It prevents missing files and failed uploads, helping me deliver designs reliably and on time. Our workload was reduced once we signed up with their service. Which is obvious, we do less troubleshooting and spend more time on our actual clients. Even our Teams mood changed a lot. Work became less stressful one we got rid of our Network loss. now we have a good firewall and security implemented, so we can continue working in regular schedule. It's good be be protected from attacks on our Internet for the price we are paying

  ### 35. No More Guesswork with In-Room Technology Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake M. | Maintenance Technician, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The search function is incredible. When a guest reports an issue with their smart TV or Wi-Fi, I can use Forward to instantly see if the device is connected to the network, what switch it's on, and if there's a policy blocking it. It’s like having X-ray vision into the walls. The visual topology maps help me coordinate with our IT contractor much more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

It's a very powerful tool, and sometimes the information is almost too detailed for the basic troubleshooting I need to do. I primarily use a small subset of its features.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has drastically reduced the time it takes to resolve guest-facing technology problems. I've gone from spending hours tracing cables to diagnosing issues in minutes. This means happier guests and less frustration for my team. We've also used it to plan the rollout of new smart thermostats, ensuring they were connected correctly from day one and preventing a wave of post-installation service requests.

  ### 36. Clear Conversation Ownership That Transformed Our High Volume Support Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nkechi O. | Head of Client Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The conversation assignment and ownership structure is what made the biggest immediate difference for our team. Every incoming message has a clear owner and a visible status so nothing sits in a grey area where everyone assumes someone else is handling it. For a customer facing team managing high volumes daily that accountability layer has changed how we operate more than any other single feature.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The search functionality inside older conversation threads is not as fast as it needs to be.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shared inboxes without proper ownership structures create invisible accountability gaps that only show up when something goes wrong. Forward Enterprise made every conversation traceable and every response attributable which has had a direct impact on how quickly our team closes out client queries.

  ### 37. A Local Diligence Reality Changer for Checking the Condition of Portfolio Companies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carter B. | CEO and Founder, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

Forward Enterprise delivers an objective and mathematical reality regarding the IT infrastructure and security condition of a company. Security-wise, before making any investments, it is now possible for us to precisely judge the actual intricacy, security risks, as well as the operational maturity of the target's network. This puts us far beyond their self-reported data as it shows us potential technical debt or vulnerabilities that may hinder the valuation or post-acquisition integration without even knowing them.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Indeed, the value of the platform is so exceptional that sometimes it is difficult for the technical teams of the target companies to accept that they need to give us the necessary access when the time for the deal is so tight.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By the same token, the technology has lessened the risks associated with our investments. As a result of the security flaws, we can only imagine two potential acquisitions that have made us retrace our steps. We are gaining a new level of insight from the due diligence process that was not possible before and which enables us to take better decisions and negotiate with more confidence.

  ### 38. Network Automation Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil M. | Statistical Programmer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

Strong focus on growth and learning: Forward Enterprise encourages continuous improvement, whether that means learning new technologies, refining processes, or taking on more responsibility. That kind of environment supports steady development and helps people grow both professionally and personally.

Collaborative and supportive culture: The team-oriented mindset makes it comfortable to ask questions, share ideas, and work through problems together. Collaboration across roles leads to better outcomes and also strengthens mutual respect within the team.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Occasional workload pressure : During peak project phases, timelines can feel tight, which may impact work-life balance. With better long-term planning or resource allocation, this could be managed more smoothly.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bridging skill and experience gaps: The organization actively works to close knowledge and skill gaps through guidance from experienced team members, learning opportunities, and on‑the‑job exposure.

How this benefits me: As a Statistical Programmer, this support accelerates my learning curve, strengthens my technical skills, and increases my confidence in handling increasingly complex tasks.

  ### 39. Critical If you Work With Networks, But In some Scenareos lacks Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe W. | President / SaS Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

Most helpful is forward predict sandbox. For my company that can't afford dedicated hardware labs, this is invaluable. It allows me and my team to simulate some risky changes that we consider applying to the devices.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

It lacks automation, some monitoring features to see harware lifecycle and EOL identification.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem FOrward solevs for my samll msp is data normalization. My customers don't all use the same equipment - some have cisco, others have Juniper, and some combine them with software like AWS or Azure. Previously if customer had a problem, my techician had to goin into 2 or 3 specific vendor cosoles and translate the data from there, now with this service, this issue is eliminated, since we are able to create a complete twin copy and check everything we need from that one application.

  ### 40. Forward Enterprise for coordinating projects and tracking progress

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mola M. | Project Management Coordinator, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

My favourite thing about Forward Enterprise is that it keeps everyone aware of their duties and the next task to undertake. I use it every day to verify the completion of tasks, provide updates, and make project notes. Avoidance of the feature of priority tagging and automated notification will ensure that projects operate within their schedules. It has eased the collaboration process and has saved time that I would have spent explaining the deadlines or manual tracking of progress.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The thing that annoys me the most is that it is not as easy as I would prefer to change the deadlines or reassign tasks. In case of the rapid change of the project, I need to go over the assignments at least twice so that everything would update accordingly. New coworkers may have difficulties with task lists, so I take time to help them. These are not the weaknesses that make us unable to complete the work, however they do need additional attention and delay some of the adjustments.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise assists in the removal of misunderstandings concerning the responsibility of particular tasks and their timeline. Previously, my group had a tendency to waste some time checking the progress or tracking the updates. The deadlines and responsibilities are now obvious and all people are aware of what they should accomplish. I use it frequently and it has enhanced teamwork, minimized mistakes and made work environment more organized to be in the entire team.

  ### 41. Reliable protection that reduces email risk day to day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe M. | Cyber Defense Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What stands out to me is how consistently it filters risky emails without interrupting normal communication. The threat visibility gives me a clear understanding of what types of attacks are targeting us instead of just showing numbers. I like the detailed inspection of links and sender behavior because it feels layered rather than basic filtering. Deployment did not require major workflow changes which helped adoption across departments.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

There are occasional false positives that require manual release. Some advanced configuration settings are not very intuitive for non security staff.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces phishing exposure and impersonation attempts that previously caused internal concern. Since implementation we have seen fewer suspicious link clicks and fewer urgent IT escalations. That stability allows our security team to focus on proactive monitoring instead of reacting to every email scare.

  ### 42. Exceptional Support and Effortless Security Validation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khushi B. | Senior Network Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

I greatly value the support provided by Forward Network in confirming and validating the security policies I have created. Additionally, it has helped me establish an automated database tailored to my networks.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

In this position, I haven't found many drawbacks with the network itself. However, you do need to undertake the labor-intensive task of integrating forward APIs with your existing orchestration platform if you want to achieve full automation.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The structure of the network is straightforward to design and implement, as data moves along a direct path without any loops or cycles. Feedforward neural networks are generally faster to train and need less computational power for inference because, unlike recurrent neural networks, they do not have a 'memory' component to retain information.

  ### 43. Reliable Enterprise Platform with Strong Support and Scalability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautam M. | Associate Salesforce Consultant, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

The thing that I find most appealing about Forward Enterprise is its reliability and stability. The platform is well-maintained, organized, and scalable. It efficiently handles complex business processes. The support team is reliable, and the implementation services are top-notch. The integration of the system with an enterprise is flawless.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Some of these advanced options have a steeper curve and necessitate knowledge of how to utilize these features. Moreover, it would be better to provide detailed descriptions of some of these edge cases to aid users in resolving these issues on their own.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Enterprise assists organizations with the centralization and streamlining of their processes. This can be done through the automation of important processes and the ease with which integrations can be made. For myself, it has streamlined processes with better efficiency and information on how the processes within the enterprise function.

  ### 44. A dependable digital twin for serious network environments!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel M. | Cyber Risk and Compliance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

For me the biggest value is the ability to model our full enterprise network without touching production devices. I can check end to end connectivity between application servers and external endpoints in a few clicks. The path analysis clearly shows which rule or device is influencing the flow. That level of transparency saves hours of manual review.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The learning curve is real if your team is not familiar with advanced networking concepts.
Some report customization options feel limited for very specific executive formats.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to rely heavily on senior engineers to mentally map network paths during troubleshooting. That was risky and not scalable. Forward Enterprise gives us a consistent source of truth so anyone on the team can validate access and segmentation rules.

  ### 45. Powerful Search and Troubleshooting Tool That Streamlines Network Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

One of the biggest features that jumped out to me immediately was being able to find anything on the network with a search bar. This simple yet powerful feature streamlines digging, clicking and excessive time spent tracking things down. Also the NQE (Network Query Engine) can find detailed information which can then be used for further analysis and trouble shooting. Having a native API integration can also further streamline the process to export this data to other reporting tools. In addition to its strengths in trouble shooting and tracing it also does a fine job for network mapping and status updates. Networks are a complete spider web sometimes and a certain type of subnet or network may not take one single path. This tool has proven helpful in being able to trace out the actual path and possible paths taken.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

While this tool has many solid features it will not be able to fully replace most of our current network management tools yet, but as it stands today is an excellent complimentry partner to our stack. This does of course increase our overall budget. Another item that has been a bit of a pain point is that NQE is proprietary and does carry a learning curve. If there was more out of the box reports would also be beneficial.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems that is being solved for our team with Forward is being able to easily find things. Yes everything does exist and is searchable but if its not easily found then that is time spent that could be otherwise used elsewhere. Not being able to find something is equivalent to not having it, and with this tool its helping put a number of items at our fingertips thanks to its search capabilities. Its also been a great help in helping us answer end user questions when we get an inquiry as to what the network topology looks like. In the past this would take us some time to put together a mapping, but this has cut that time in half. Networks change all the time and keeping up with documentation unfortunately does take away from other things, so this tool has really helped us find new time.

  ### 46. Granular Network Segmentation for Quick Traffic Evaluation to Ensure Strong Security Posture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Network Security Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

It is a very straightforward platform to evaluate all the different types of traffic cycling to different endpoints and it has a user-friendly interface that lets us visualize every flow, isolate workloads quickly, and enforce zero trust policies. It delivers reliable granular network segmentation that enables precise and application-aware policy enforcement to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The platform doesn’t have any major drawbacks its an amazing tool that which I feel brings the most value for our network security.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform delivers powerful visualization of network traffic and gives clear, real-time insights into application dependencies, making policy creation and threat containment straightforward. It empowers us with the intelligence needed to detect and mitigate threats proactively.

  ### 47. Forward Delivers Clean End-to-End Network Visibility and Faster Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus S. | Cyber Security Analyst Jr at Neotel | Blue Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What I like most is how Forward gives end-to-end visibility of the network and policies in a pretty clean way. It helps understand paths, verify intent and see potential issues faster, without digging through tons of configs. It saves time during troubleshooting and makes changes feel less blind.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

Sometimes the UI feels a bit heavy and slow, especially with bigger environments. Also, it takes some time for new people to understand the logic behind the tools and features. Integrations and onboarding could be more smooth. But overall the platform still helps a lot.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward mostly solves the problem of not having clear network visibility. Troubleshooting becomes faster since we can see the real path instead of guessing. It helps avoid config mistakes and risky changes, and makes investigations a lot less painful.

  ### 48. Powering Networks With Wins API & lifecycle Support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

NQE is very powerful, but being relatively proprietary is a draback when AI has enabled engineers to write scripts w/o spending most of time to learn the Language.More canned goods would be nice reports for inventory and hardware lifecycle.Occasionally slow at times when sanpshots are being don't hog all the assets might be advantageous. And the end Forward Enterprice could improve by enhancing flexibility.Additionally, there should be a version for Android or a desktop.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 49. Powerful Network Visibility and Verification Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre M. | Real estate agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?**

What stands out to me most about Forward Networks is its ability to turn complex network environments into a precise, fully searchable digital model. This feature makes it straightforward to trace traffic paths, verify network intent, and maintain compliance across multi-vendor networks through the platform. The interface is clean, responsive, and clearly designed with engineers in mind, offering clarity without unnecessary distractions.

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

The pricing might seem somewhat steep for smaller teams, and the initial setup can be time-consuming, especially when mapping out large infrastructures. Additionally, some of the more advanced features demand a solid understanding of network automation concepts. However, once everything is configured, the overall experience is smooth and highly reliable.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forward Networks has taken much of the uncertainty out of troubleshooting and managing changes in our network. I am able to validate network behavior before making any changes, quickly identify misconfigurations, and verify that end-to-end security policies are in place. As a result, we've experienced fewer outages, are better prepared for audits, and have much greater confidence in our daily network operations.

  ### 50. Efficient tool for simulation purposes with excellent customer support

**What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?**

It seems to be very functional for the purpose it was created for and nothing improve immediately comes to mind.

**What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rely on this tool to model how microservices will connect across the network to help ensure deployments are smooth and the capability to track data flow from source to destination simplifies troubleshooting and helps in firewall policy verification.
