It can be deployed across different cloud environments, and it also works as a cloud-native firewall. I have deployed multiple VM's on VMware cloud like 02, 04,08 and its much user friendly compared to other vendors. **What do you dislike about FortiGate-VM NGFW?** The main thing I would point out is the licensing, which is a bit complex. I still remember we had an issue importing the license: I had deployed firmware 6.4.x, and the license could not be imported. I raised a TAC case and found out that the license can only be imported after upgrading to 7.0.x, but there was no proper documentation about this limitation. Fortinet needs to improve the documentation on issues like this so we don’t get stuck. The setup and design were nice. With this structure, we eliminated high traffic for a long time. Our first product family was the 1500 D FW series. With the increase in our traffic, we made the change to 3000 E devices. In our work that started in 2015, we managed firewalls without any interruption in high traffic on November 11 every year from 2016 until 2021. Since the entire gateway address was a firewall, it was working with too many rules. On average, we had over 2000 active rule sets. We integrated it with Forti Analyzer and siem systems. We are pleased with the service we received from Fortinet country office and global Fortinet NGFW series devices are widely used in Turkey. We are also working with Fortinet 600 F at Info Yatırım, where I have just started working. In the company, which is a brokerage firm, the Fortinet device is where we provide all access control. You can proceed with the appropriate model using data sheets according to your traffic. During my N11 journey, I started with the 1500 D model and lastly used the 3000 E model. Let me give you some statistical information: I saw 2 million concurrent sessions on the firewall on the day of the campaign. **What do you dislike about FortiGate-VM NGFW?** FortiGate NGFW does not have negative feature.
