What I like best about SonicWall Next Generation Firewall is how solid and easy it is to work with. It gives strong security without adding extra complexity, and the performance is always dependable. As a distributor, its simple to explain to partners, I use it frequently and set up reporting mix it easy for them to see the real value as its integration is easy. The only thing I don’t like about the SonicWall Next-Gen Firewall is that some advanced settings feel a bit complicated for new partners, and a few updates can take more time than expected. Just a bit more simplicity would make it even easier to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really dont like anything about it so much. I don't have much to compare it to. We have only been using Sonicwalls, but will probably try something else in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Too many new issues:

The new OS is way to sluggish.

Delays moving from screen to screen.

Several minutes to restart is too long (180 seconds plus many more 20 second countdowns).

It is discomforting to see it trying to connect many times after the 180 second countdown and seeming like it is a never ending loop.

Even after it restarts and I log in, it takes a long time for the interfaces to work.

The upgrade from 6 to 7 was messy. It leftr too many lingering issues. It was my 4th upgrade and I never had a problem before. LB does not work as support says and the is ZERO documentation on it.

It just seems that the all around quality is getting worse instead of better.

As above recommendation I am totaly disagree. These features not help me to detect and mitigate advanced cyber threats zero-day attacks and ransomware, and it cause harm.

Reasons so far as per my knowledge that time:

Enabling certain security features or deploying SonicWall devices in certain configurations may impact network performance or introduce latency, particularly in high-traffic environments.

Organizations should carefully evaluate performance requirements and consider hardware specifications accordingly.

The best thing about sonicwall is that it allows anyone in the organisation to access the main company network from anywhere in the world while maintaining the safety protocols. It establishes a safe and secure connection so that every work can be done with privacy and safety. Sonicwall is easy to use as it has all the necessary controls in the welcome screen.
