## Forge Reviews
  ### 1. Seems like a powerful tool but is still dificult to understand workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago A. G. | BIM Professional, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Forge?**

It seems like the perfect tool for automatization in the BIM process.

**What do you dislike about Forge?**

It is still difficult to understand 100% the correct way to use the tool for whatever you need. For example, many companies offer automatization services, but all of them are forge-based, and if you use them, you will end up paying for forge and the other tool. The pricing is still not very clear in those cases. Also, you can create your own automatizations, but the options are so many and there is no guide to follow, that it becomes overwhelming, and you don't know how to proceed.

**What problems is Forge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatization of the different construction management processes. Time is the most significant benefit i receive from all the things you can develop with forge.

  ### 2. Very powerful Revit in Cloud experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swapnil M. | IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Forge?**

The fact that I can automate a lot of manual tasks in Revit and put them to work directly in the cloud. No local computing resources are required. They also hold free forge data day's conferences which help a lot.

**What do you dislike about Forge?**

There is nothing to dislike in general about the platform.
All I would ask is additional documentation and learning resources for the common power user to be able to get into development.

**What problems is Forge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving us time by automating document creation. For example we can create a script to run in the cloud and create 100 drawings with specific viewports and schedules.

  ### 3. Used Autodesk Forge Viewer to render 3d model and to display realtime location GPS devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Forge?**

The Autodesk Forge Viewer is built on top of three.js, which is open-source providing options to customize the Viewer to meet all sorts of business needs.

**What do you dislike about Forge?**

There is not a very big developers community. If you are stuck on some issue, it's very hard to find the solution. There is less help available online.

**What problems is Forge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Autodesk Forge Viewer for rendering 3D models of the construction sites in browser and for displaying the real-time location of the equipment and workers to ensure workers' safety and to better manage the equipments.

  ### 4. Amazing platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Forge?**

What Autodesk did with Forge has been great. There are so many digitization applications and tools made using Forge.

**What do you dislike about Forge?**

Some of the loading times on large Revit Modes would be nice. Upload time is a piece that really hinders large projects as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Forge:**

If you are looking to take existing workflows that might be very manual, take a look at forge and see what in house developments might be achievable to really enhance those old time heavy workflows.

**What problems is Forge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything from viewing models online to formatting extracted data from Revot models to use the data further downstream has been and will continue to be realized.

**Reviewed by:** Steve R. | National BIM/VDC Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Forge?**

The thing that I like best about Forge is being able to easily build relationships and connections that are not inherently apart of some of the products that you may use on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Forge?**

I have not really come across anything that I do not like about it so far. It is straight forward and easy to use with very little of a learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering Forge:**

This product is a very user friendly way to create bridges to increase productivity and reduce duplication of information in multiple places. Because it is so user friendly, anyone can use it no matter their technical skill level which then helps the greater project efficiency and reduces redundancy in certain tasks.

**What problems is Forge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of the softwares/programs that we are using are developed by our internal development team and being able to have a platform that allows us to make the bridges between them is awesome for us.

A common platform for looking at Data in the model as well as comparing to tables and charts.

If it was a little more descriptive in how to mine for the things import to my needs at the time. Often spend lots of time researching if others have done this.
