"Fast, Flexible Cross-Platform Apps with Flutter and Hot Reload"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

What I really like about Flutter is its ability to build responsive mobile applications for both Android and iOS from a single codebase. What makes Flutter my favorite is that it helps me create high-quality applications with a consistent user experience across different devices. I also appreciate its fast development cycle with Hot Reload, strong performance, flexibility, and rich UI capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

One thing I dislike about Flutter is that the app size can sometimes be larger compared to native applications. Some platform-specific features may also require additional native code or plugins. However, these limitations are relatively minor compared to the overall development speed and flexibility Flutter provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flutter: A Game-Changer for Fast, Scalable Cross-Platform Apps"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

Flutter is one of the best cross-platform technologies available today. It allows us to build scalable apps that perform very close to native, with smooth animations and a consistent UI across both Android and iOS. The single shared codebase dramatically reduces delivery time, since we no longer have to write and maintain two separate native apps. This is also a big win for clients because they do not need to allocate two separate teams or resources for Android and iOS development. The widget-based architecture is powerful and flexible, hot reload makes development very fast, and the growing package ecosystem covers almost every common need. Overall, Flutter has been a game changer for our mobile delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

There is not much to dislike about Flutter. App sizes can be larger than equivalent native apps. Some platform-specific features still require writing native code or relying on community plugins of varying quality. Dart is a less common language so new team members sometimes have a small ramp-up. These are minor trade-offs compared to the productivity gains and the value of a shared codebase. "Fast Cross-Platform Development with Native Performance and Great UI"
4/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

I like Flutter because, first of all, it’s cross-platform. I can develop native-performance apps using Flutter, and I can set it up quickly as well. It’s also great for animations and UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

I’m running into a few issues with the native side, and they can take a lot of time to resolve. This seems to happen mostly on iOS, and I haven’t developed an app in iOS native before. As a developer, I want to build for iOS from Flutter, but it feels harder on iOS than it is on Android. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Works Seamlessly Across Platforms with Great Mobile App Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

It works across platforms, and it also provides great support for the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

There was a project update from the old version to the new version, and the old package was removed from the repository. It’s very tough to find the old package now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Android Studio Integration for Rapid Prototyping in Flutter"
4/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

Flutter’s seamless integration within Android Studio makes the development process feel smooth and efficient. As an indie developer who has published games like Balloop Fun and Archery Sky, I’ve found the UI/UX design capabilities to be excellent. Connecting a physical phone for real-time testing is straightforward and hassle-free, which is a big advantage when you’re working solo. Overall, it supports rapid prototyping of both the interface and the logic while keeping everything in a single codebase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

While the UI framework is excellent, animation performance in gaming scenarios still feels fairly standard; there’s definitely room to improve fluidity and make it feel more high-end. The framework is also quite resource-heavy. During development, high RAM usage often causes system lag or even temporary freezes on mid-range machines. On top of that, the final app bundle size tends to be larger than native applications, which is a common drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flutter is best solution for business logic model, by creating both android and IOS apps for users."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

Flutter provides the best multiple cross-platform for creating Android, iOS, web, Windows, and Linux applications. The Flutter development environment offers the best implementation for UI, architecture, and all the latest support for all Android and iOS packages. Flutter is the most efficient solution for both cross-platforms by considering a single code base. It's really possible to achieve all possible functionality with Flutter with all core implementation freedom on both Android and iOS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

Flutter app performance varies according to the implementation as it is always slower compared to the native app, and there are several issues with core implementation for core features while extending the current packages in core Android. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flutter and Dart: A modern alternative to TypeScript-driven frameworks"
4/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

What I like best about Flutter is first of all the language, Dart, which I find much more enjoyable and straightforward than TypeScript. It integrates seamlessly with VS Code, making the developer experience smooth and productive. On top of that, the hot reload feature is incredibly powerful for fast iteration, the widget-based architecture makes UI building very flexible, and the cross-platform support allows us to deliver apps for iOS, Android, and even web with a single codebase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

What I dislike about Flutter is that some third-party libraries can take time to be updated or maintained, which sometimes creates delays when adopting the latest versions. In a few cases, this also means having to rely on workarounds or community forks until official support is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flutter: Fast and Easy Multi-Platform Development"
5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

Easy to learn, fast to develop. With Flutter you have the same codebase for literally all types of platforms, from mobile (Android and iOS), to Desktop (Linux, Windows, MacOS), to Web and also embedded systems. In my opinion is the most advanced multi-platform solution nowadays Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

Code generation. I really miss reflection for JSON serialization and the like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VV Powerful Duo the Flutter and Appwrite Combination"
5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

Flutter is the best framework when it comes to cross platform development for apps. It doubles down on productivity as with its hot reload we can rapidly check if something works or not, very easy to learn and it becomes intuitive to implement too! When it comes to appwrite it integrates with flutter seamlessly and its much better to use appwrite than have to build an entire backend from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

Though flutter is a very good cross platform it still has a long way to go to come near native platform development be it kotlin or swift they're performance wise obliterating flutter at the moment but its a long time before flutter comes through. Since its also fairly new all the things available on native all sorts of internal libraries and things. The developer community is still new but its growing rapidly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flutter is awesome!"
5/5
What do you like best about Flutter?

The Dart language and the fact that essentially everything is a widget, beside the fact that it can be used on Android, iOS, Web, Linux and Windows, event all at once! Ah, almost forgot, also embedded devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flutter?

The only thing that could be improved is the support for Web, that on mobile is a little bit too laggy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
