The reading experience is great, and customizable - also works for reverse bound books. It's not an overly complicated program so is easy to get a hang of. For an indie manga magazine it's has been perfect. We can create a seamless and emersive experience for our customers without breaking the bank, or our brains. The fact that "Zine" is an affordable one time fee was perfect for a tiny and risky startup. I personally dislike subscriptions, especially at that early stage and this was the only one I found so it was a quick "yes". A few years later I was able to show it to a partner working on a similar, but more successful startup and he loved it! Now we have the Creative teir and have lot's of flip books to make. Part of why we got this teir was the fact that Flowpaper will host your flip books and we can both work from our own, distant computers and tag team them. Whoever replies to Flowpaper emails is very, responsive, kind and helpful which is quite a bonus! **What do you dislike about FlowPaper?** Logging into the program is weirdly difficult. **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a magazine and indie book publisher , Flow paper allows us to bring the experience of reading our books physically, into the online space. We produce 3 per year and can easily replace the existing content. Flowpaper fits our budget - and actually saves us money because we no longer need to produce printed copies. Our members and guests can easily navigate to the online digital version! After being burned by a different vendor that closed after 20 years, we had to rebuild our online library of issues and did not want to commit our online publications to another third-party vendor. Sometimes it is really hard to find the buttons because of improper spacing between them. FlowPaper has some amazing features beyond just creating a flipbook (which is what most other similar services only do). FlowPaper can help you change your PDFs into interactive magazines that work on tablets and phones. Their resizing is very smart. They help keep your "look" while focusing on naming it reader friendly. They allow you to lock in adverts so that they look the same while allowing you to chose to make your pages responsive. Very smart and works 99% of the time without you having to adjust too much...but you can if you want. The other features and options are great for making content for the next generation of readers on their phones and tablets. Also has a nice menu feature to make it easy for people to jump around your publications. This is a flipbook service that does a lot more than just flipbooks. Come for the flipbooks and stay for the other features and options. Team are also good at getting back to you. **What do you dislike about FlowPaper?** Dashboard lacks stats tracking which is very important (especially if you have advertisers who want to know who read what and for how long). This is an area they are working on. Would like to be able to drag and drop (reorganise) the dashboard of publications into different subfolders etc but this is not really a common feature on other similar products so would just be a 'nice to have'. **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** Presenting our magazine in the best most reader friendly way to our readers. Mainly adding links to text. -The text changes color, jumps to different places. -The HTML tags are added to the text when a link is added? -Sometimes text just disappears, and it is impossible to retrieve it. When adding a new element, impossible to make it the original layout. Also copy and pasting elements don't work. -Sometimes CRTL+Z (undo) doesn't work -When reimporting a single page, it reimports the whole document. LOSING ALL MAKE CHANGES -Unable to properly save, to backup something. You can take a PDF to create a flipbook-style digital document, or you can create a responsive, adaptable digital copy (more of a web page that is responsive to mobile and desktop). The conversion process is straightforward to learn; you don't need much experience in coding or web languages. I like the fact that if you need to create a simple digital document, you can achieve that. It also has this auto-populate feature where it takes your PDF and converts it by itself. **What do you dislike about FlowPaper?** For my application, I used the Flow Paper conversion to a digital responsive format. In my opinion, quite a few features are lacking. I wanted to create a template because, for my application, I would need to post a digital document every week. Still, Flow Paper doesn't have a customizable template I can create - I would therefore have to re-create elements that repeat every week all the time. The customization tools could also use a little revamping. The user experience on specific tools isn't exact. **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a company, we are trying to use FlowPaper to create digital bulletins. Usually, the client generates the content, so they provide a PDF that needs to be converted into a digital document. We are trying to create a responsive and adaptable bulletin, but the process isn't efficient. This was not very clear in the marketing. **Recommendations to others considering FlowPaper:** Get clarity on the difference between the wordpress plugin and the server install php files **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps my client present their documents in an attractive way. Original pdf downloads were not engaging enough for users. ### 25. There are good templates and it is very easy to load brands and colors. The resulting conversions are excellent. **What do you dislike about FlowPaper?** Although it is available on mobile devices, the interface is very inefficient because it is very slow and it does not have all the options of the desktop version. **Recommendations to others considering FlowPaper:** It is an excellent tool for publishing PDF documents and also has printing, downloading and other things. **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** Flowpaper serves as a publication tool for sharing PDF documents where we have to put quality management documents online every month. ### 26. Software can be on desktop. Very easy to install, use, upgrade. Great cost. A few options for the layout and flip motion. Very smooth graphics. Professional and high quality. I love this software! **What do you dislike about FlowPaper?** If you choose to use the desktop version, you need to set up an FTP to your host site. Not a big deal, but I had to get IT involved. **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it for our Staff Handbook, Leadership Development Handbook, and we're planning on using it for our Marketing publications. Our PDF's are more enjoyable to read, and HR has a better brand because we're publishing items with a 'wow' factor. ### 27. Everyone loved it! **What do you dislike about FlowPaper?** The free trial is a bit limited -- meaning you can only use it for a few pages of design. I wish it was a little more comprehensive, like other free graphic design tools out there. **Recommendations to others considering FlowPaper:** Give it a shot! Flowpaper is great to use even just for that one special report you have to crank out and want to be beautiful -- and who knows, maybe you'll get hooked too! **What problems is FlowPaper solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was having trouble finding a good platform for report and publication design - and Flowpaper was an easy solution with beautiful results. Additionally - the collaborative pieces of the software are excellent!
