This will greatly reduce the current burden we have in IT when the business makes a change to the process as they will now be able to make the change on their own. We also like how quick they are to resolve issues to their software when one is discovered and the time and attention their support team provides. Getting someone to help has never been a problem which has been fantastic and is not always the case with other vendors. Having reliable support as we learn this platform and integrate it into our systems is critical for us and it's very much appreciated. **What do you dislike about FlexRule Decision Automation Platform?** There isn't anything about the software or team that we dislike, the only challenge we have faced is the large difference in time zones between us and FlexRule but they have been as accommodating as they can be. Because of the time zone difference questions we ask during our working day are usually not answered until the following day in the early AM which is the start of the working day for them. We have learned to account for this and adjust our communications but it did take some time to get that right between us and FlexRule but it's mostly a non-issue now. **What problems is FlexRule Decision Automation Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Over the years we have built many custom solutions to handle business rules in terms of how pricing is generated and the rules that control our order flow. Because this is all custom and all IT driven its very hard to make changes to our current system because its layers upon layers of rules built over the last 20 years. It also means our current system can't be updated by the business so all requests for changes must go through IT which creates a bottleneck. The problem we are solving with Flexrule is a unified rules engine that allows us to move at the speed of the market and empowers our business users with the ability to create and update their own rules which removes the IT bottleneck and allows us in IT to spend time on other business critical projects. We saw our first benefits right away when a non-developer was able to not only update and expand a rule but also check it into the built-in source control and deploy that rule to Azure for consumption by the web team without direct developer involvement ### 16. They use our solution for scheduling appointments and optimizing the utilization of their internal resources. We have FlexRule fully embedded as our main rule engine. Using FlexRule, we easily manage use cases such as customer segmentation based on attributes like gender, age, insurance or any other patient characteristicas. The healthcare providers can offer personalized medical services to their individual patient groups, make sure that patients arrive well prepared and avoid human errors during the whole process. The FlexRule IDE was very intuitive. My team was able to quickly get up to speed and become productive on day 1. The IDE allows all members of my team to collaborate. Business Analysts, Developers, and Infrastructure engineers can all use the IDE to manage their tasks and work together. FlexRule supports a wide variety of infrastructure configurations and works extremely well across cloud environments. We were able to use our desired configuration with FlexRule with no issues. Our DevOps team was quickly able to incorporate FlexRule into our CICD pipelines. Helping to speed the development of the features in our platform. Lastly, the FlexRule team provided amazing customer support. They were always available and quickly helped to close any issues that arose. **What do you dislike about FlexRule Decision Automation Platform?** One thing I would like to see improved in FlexRule is the training. It's hard to create a new rule from a blank page because of declarations etc one have to write in.
