I use Flaticon to get icons for various projects like websites and designing interfaces. It's a wonderful tool that doesn't require me to hire a graphic artist, and it allows me to easily change icon colors. The editor has a very easy interface for changing colors and shapes, and with a premium subscription, I can change the colors to match my brand. Flaticon makes it easier by allowing me to click on the icon to change colors without needing any complicated setups or additional software. It's great that I can download icons freely with attribution for testing, and no attribution is required with a premium subscription. The licenses come with premium subscription. The collection is superior to that of the other icon projects. I find it just easy peasy to download and test icons before committing to them. The simple icon editor makes life easier and saves a lot of time by giving the ability to change the colors to brand colors on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that Flaticon doesn't allow purchasing individual icons for a fixed fee. I feel like there should be an option similar to other websites that offer a 'per icon' purchase. Sometimes I don't need the $10/month subscription, especially for projects that don't require icons on a continuous basis. A pay-as-you-go model would be a great enhancement since sometimes I only need a couple of icons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
