VSDC Free Video Editor Reviews & Product Details

VSDC receives regular updates that improve performance; it has a versatility that's reflected in the variety of export formats and the function of direct publishing to social networks. In terms of quality I like the high quality it offers whether on large screen or mobile devices; it even has a green screen function with which we can overlay graphic elements or replace backgrounds for educational videos in a easy manner. In my case I've found no limitations that compromise the quality of my team's projects; everything I look for in a video editing software is integrated and available in VSDC Video Editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No downfalls, awesome free service that provides great quality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The amount of functionality that comes with this software is awesome. On top of that, the countless how-to videos they have are amazing, and always explain how to do many things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish it was not a subscription service, but rather buy for a permanent license that maybe is only good for the current version, and maybe an update or two. If I can own the software rather than have to subscribe to it that would be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A lot of effects and editing tools; you can even expect new features in future versions. A decent export quality. Non-linear video editor. Ridiculously free! Not demanding. Fantastic community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A little bit tricky interface for the newbie. It's a pro software! People get familiar with time-line oriented video editors. One feature is missing, or I wasn't lucky to find it, which is "speed curve" for making the "hero moment" or the "bullet moment." Something quite essential in modern content creation. I've found VSDC to have an intuitive workflow and a robust selection of amazing effects. It has everything I need (and then some) to easily make the music videos I'm working on. And the finished products are top-notch professional quality I'm confident in sharing with the public. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's not much I dislike about VSDC. If I had to pick something, maybe having to pay for premium features, but the price is practically free (less for a whole year than Adobe Premier is for one month), so I don't have any complaints at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can create a basic simple family video, or you can be as complex as you would on a professional software video editor. One of the best features that I like is the export option which gives you many choices and formats. Another great advantage is the fact that it does not require a powerful pc; it works very well with my standard laptop generating final videos very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some features are hard to manage, and additional features are not easy to install (maybe a better installation document is needed) but once installed, those are pretty easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about this software is that it is robust but also free. It has all of the features I would expect from paid software, except for some audio features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VSDC Free is missing the visual component for audio. The audio visualization is a great way to edit exact timing and is available in other software. I believe it may be an add-on in the paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best is the fact that I can export my video and use it without watermarks. Cool transitions and nice effects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Don't know at the moment. Maybe when I continue to use it. I just discovered it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VSDC Video Editor is one of the best video editing app that I have come across. It is economical & very user-friendly for anyone looking to edit a video for Youtube channels, family events, movies etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VSDC Video Editor is available only for windows users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the screenshot most because it gives me the expected result Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside is that the video is not as clear as Camtasia and did not really meet the standard of youtube while uploading on a youtube Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
