Flare – Shopify Delivery Date Picker Reviews & Product Details

Flare is a Shopify eCommerce app that enables merchants to display a delivery date selector at checkout and configure shipping rates & rules based on postcode, product type, date or shipping method. Flare is designed for Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants who sell products requiring scheduled or time-sensitive delivery. Common use cases include food and beverage brands managing same-day or next-day delivery windows, florists and gift retailers handling date-specific orders, furniture retailers coordinating delivery slots, and B2B suppliers managing recurring delivery schedules. The app operates in two layers: a customer-facing delivery date picker embedded in the Shopify checkout, and a merchant-facing rules engine that controls which dates are available based on configurable logic. Key capabilities include: - Postcode-level delivery zones with different lead times and available dates per zone - Product and collection-specific delivery rules for merchants with mixed inventory types - Daily order cutoff times by shipping method, automatically removing same-day options after a set time - Blackout dates for holidays, warehouse closures, or high-demand periods - Native compatibility with Shopify Plus checkout extensibility and third-party logistics providers Flare uses Shopify Functions for shipping rate logic and Shopify's checkout extensibility API for the date picker interface, meaning it integrates directly with Shopify's infrastructure rather than relying on theme code or workarounds. This approach makes the app compatible with headless and custom Shopify Plus storefronts. The app is used by over 700 Shopify merchants and holds a 5.0 star rating on the Shopify App Store across 90+ reviews. Learn more at: https://apps.shopify.com/delivery-date-picker
