It's a software designed to help you from group training, personal training, in the studio and at home. ## FitMetrix Reviews ### 1. You WILL regret going with FitMetrix **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Ryan K. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2021 **What do you like best about FitMetrix?** Before Mindbody bought Fitmetrix, we loved the user interface, the customer support, the ease of use, and the reliability. Since Mindbody made many backend changes to the software, its compatibility, the user interface, functionality, and "customer support (if you can call it that, which you can't), we are finally canceling and finding a new solution. **What do you dislike about FitMetrix?** Everything. Sorry for the lack of details, but if you read the above answer, you will understand. I just waited on hold for 40 minutes to get a support agent, and then he put me on hold for 15 minutes while he read the book to learn about FitMetrix since they do not have a specialized support team designated to Fitmetrix. **Recommendations to others considering FitMetrix:** Mindbody owns Fitmetrix, and you can't subscribe to Fitmetrix unless you also subscribe to Mindbody. I can tell you that Mindbody's culture changed significantly from when I first started using them nearly 15 years ago when they cared about their customers and offered great support. Now, they are a money machine and offer terrible support since they don't need your business, you need them, or at least that's how they act. If you do your homework, you will notice that their average review is dropping; I think they're currently only at four stars. Do your homework and make sure all the features you expect to have will be included in the subscription level you plan to sign up for. Read your contracts carefully; they do not make it easy to leave them when you finally get fed up. **What problems is FitMetrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are not solving problems with Fitmetrix; we are solving problems by leaving them. Mindbody took something tremendous and broke it. We were Mindbody customers too, but after three price increases in 16 months (about three years ago), we left. ### 2. It syncs well with ABC. **What do you dislike about FitMetrix?** The customer service is beyond terrible. Our app hasn't worked for 6 weeks and we can't even get return phone calls or emails. I"m going to have to leave because our customers can't check into classes and many members do not have a working app. (Not all but a significant amount.) It's so difficult switching but they just don't seem to care enough to even return calls or emails:) Outside of service, the ability for members to download the app is not an easy process. It's pretty brutal. If the member was at another club with a fitmetrix app then they must have a second email address. **Recommendations to others considering FitMetrix:** I would not recommend them based on customer support. It's not existent. **What problems is FitMetrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** Checking into gyms works well. ### 3. Looks professional and enticing from the clients prospective. Allows trainers to organize and keep track of their clients well. Provides an easy way to provide clients with a rewards system. Enables trainers to easily communicate with clients at the touch of a button. **What do you dislike about FitMetrix?** They need to add a portion to save prescribed exercises. Currently, the trainers cannot go into a clients account and add in a new workout in an easy manner. It is done in a round about way. It would be excellent if they added this feature. **Recommendations to others considering FitMetrix:** For the price, and the volume of employees and members we have, it is a useful tool. **What problems is FitMetrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** Increase client engagement, heightened client experience. Easy of use for employees. ### 4. I love using fitmetrix! It helps me gage how hard I need to push my clients in their workouts. I love how I can gage my own workout and then know how hard to push the others in their workouts. **What do you dislike about FitMetrix?** Sometime fitmetrix does not send the emails to my clients after of their workout, or it has glitches when I am trying to pull up stats about a client. I wish there was a way to fix these glitches without having to call into support because my clients want their stats in real time. They gage their experience in my class based off of whether or not they get their stats after class. **Recommendations to others considering FitMetrix:** I would recommend using FitMetrix if you are trying to increase your clients of being happy and wanting to improve themselves physically! **What problems is FitMetrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** being able to better suit a clients workout and motivate them! I love how people come to my cyclebar class and want to push themselves more because they know how hard they pushed themselves last time and want to do better in the next class! I would recommend having more things in the software that can make it easier to find. ### 5. For our studio specifically, the stats are what the riders love about our product. **What do you dislike about FitMetrix?** FitMetrix is constantly down or having issues. We cannot offer our product to the best extent if this is happening. The member statistics are not always sent, accurate, and the member profiles get mixed up sometimes. Having to constantly refresh before or after a change is made to see the updates made by others is not user friendly. Additionally, having to use two platforms when booking (FitMetrix and MindBody) is confusing to the rider and can sometimes cause issues between the two servers. **What problems is FitMetrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** FitMetrix provides a way to see how many customers are coming in a day, tracking instructor attendance, rider attendance, provides stats for our riders, and allows riders to manage their bike position and move them after booking a class. I would not say that FitMetrix solves any of our problems as a studio, but it helps us deliver our product. ### 6. We can change riders shoe sizes, bikes numbers, etc in the same screen. We run statistics in our cycle class that riders enjoy. They get an email with all the information about their ride after class. **What do you dislike about FitMetrix?** Too often it is glitchy! Sometimes the stats read zero across the board the until the end of class. Sometimes we can’t run the stats because of the glitches. Very annoying. **What problems is FitMetrix solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can utilize fitmetrix for more than one thing.
