This has made the approvals flow quickly and easy to monitor. I like how it shows the risks we have and how to monitor these for future audit. Overall, Fastpath has been efficient for Vita Coco. It is also very user friendly and easy to use. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I would suggest when they send the emails regarding the approval of the beginning date vs end date it notified us which approval they needed. The reports are detailed and show role, duty and privileges, along with users and roles and easily exported to excel. This is great for our SOX auditors and to help the IT department create roles and segregate duties. The ability to trace access thru the task recordings is also very useful. The auditing capability is good but could be better. I particularly like the access certifications, a process that would take me days to send out can now be done in minutes or just automated to send regularly. I can then easily report on them to our auditors with one spreadsheet instead of having to save over 50 emails. Scheduling reports saves time and enables me to have a view of what the system looked like on any given day in the past. The external confidence auditors have in the report data. It is a much simpler path to review our international environments. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** While there is a last log-on report, I wish it worked differently, but the data is there and easy to find, my desire is just so it would work easier for how I am using it. Everything is there that is needed. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** We initially started using FastPath for SOX requirements, FastPath goes above and beyond the basic needs for this. What has really set FastPath apart from similar tools we have used in the past, is how amazing their customer service is. When we have had questions they are quick to respond and help, even after hours. As early users of the MS Dynamics 365 product, there were a couple of things we found that FastPath didn't have set up to report on, we contacted them and it was added on in the next release a month later. Not only were did they add that to their tool, but they helped us find ways to report on that until the release was completed. They listened to our needs and questions and were excited about finding ways to make their tool more efficient. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** SOX requirements. For user reviews, changes to the system, SOD, and audit requirements. Security increasing our documentation on SOD, user access and changes in user access. Audit and best business practice requirements. We have experienced that auditors all gain quick comfort in the canned reports offered in Fastpath, showing exactly what they need and requiring no report modification. The reports are robust and simple to understand, details on the headers of the reports, along with detailing filters, have answered questions before they are asked. Automated reports are wonderful and ability to sign reports within the tool. ### 11. It is a clean, easy and intuitive user interface. Aside from provisioning, we heavily use the SOD analysis and Security Modeling functionalities. This makes it easy to confirm that we are remaining in compliance. I go to Access Management on at least a monthly basis to monitor licensing changes. This directly affects the cost of doing business within the D365 suite. I have been able to manage and reduce these costs by reviewing detailed data here. Data change tracking abilities within Fastpath have helped to troubleshoot access for users on countless occasions. Automated report running/delivery from this module have streamlined processes and reduced the need for repetetive IT requests. These are a few of the areas that I use every week. I can't imagine having to manage all of this without Fastpath. Highly recommended. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** There is always room to add more functionality. It has every feature I've been looking for over my life as a GP Consultant. Fastpath's team is awesome. From Sales, to Account Management, and Technical Support, everyone has been a pleasure to work with on the project. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I have not encountered any dislikes! It's a great product that I highly recommend. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're a large business with many GP users. Our audit priorities were tracking inventory item changes, modifications to sales orders or invoices, and various other system settings. It's been a huge time saver and has uncovered a lot of discrepencies due to user activity. The audit reports are quickly generated based on your parameters and export to a nicely formatted Excel, Word, or PDF file. Config AD is a big plus for us. With today's security, we needed a solution to manage our GP users through their AD account. Setting up new uesrs is easy with Config AD and is a time saver. ### 14. Excellent customer service. Then upload the task recorder file into Fastpath and it will tell you the security objects that are needed. It is also a must have for our audit department in order to track who/when records were added/modified/deleted etc. There are about 25 OOTB commonly used change tracking templates that will not have any detrimental affect on D365 performance if you enable them. Customer support is good. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I can't really see any downsides or anything I dislike. We are still in process of go-live so I don't have extensive experience with the product yet. I was not involved in the installation directly but it's a little complicated getting it configured. You have to get application ID's/ integration values from LCS and it's a little confusing as to which value is correct to use. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Security roles/duites/privileges and audit/change tracking. We are also planning to use the segregation of duties (SOD) feature once we have all the security roles basically configured. ### 17. Their technical group assisted us in getting us up and running with the basics quickly. Overall we need to spend more time tailoring it to our daily needs. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** It's more of a limitation on our end where we have to manage database growth based on the number of items we want to track. But the other thing would be how fast the online query results respond. I feel it could be quicker - there are times when I am querying results if I don't have a narrowed search pattern, it takes a while, but I guess it's like anything else; understandably, there's an option to purge old data to have a skippier response. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accountability on data in our ERP system. Things are easy to find and intuitive to understand. There is a lot of flexibility to customize reports. The time it takes to do SOD analysis is greatly reduced versus trying to do this manually in NetSuite. We love being able to now focus on actual SOD analysis and little-to-no time crafting the reports to get the data itself. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** We dont have anything specific that we dislike. We only see a lot of benefits to using the product for SOD analysis. I guess maybe some color coding in the UI to show that you are in Fastpath Test vs Production would be nice. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem with SOD analysis is the lack of reports available in NetSuite. One has to create multiple reports and merge them together in Excel to get any meaningful data to analyze in NetSuite. Fastpath gives us a 'build once and use multiple time' solution. We only have to setup our rules and reports one time, going forward we can use them in multiple audits in the future. ### 34. We are able to complete our quarterly reviews of role SoD conflicts, user role assignment and user access quickly with evidence stored in Fastpath for future audits or review. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** The link to Coupa is less comprehensive than the link to other systems. It does require more work to implement that integration. I suspect that may be a limitation of Coupa as much as Fastpath. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our process for quarterly access certifications and review of separation/segregation of duties took more than 15 days using reports, Excel, emails and Jira tickets. When individuals move companies/roles, it results in potential risks like access deprovisioning or segregation of duty conflicts. Fastpath is the a great analytics tool that my team utilizes to track any conflicts at a point-in-time. Historically our process involved running 4+ different reports to analyze SOD conflicts, but after meeting with the support engineers we were able to reduce the process to a click of one button. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I believe the learning curve for using Fastpath is a bit steep for the average user. It could be a bit daunting looking at all of the different tabs and subsections. The training manual could be improved -- along with more pinpointed video modules to allow users to leverage on common questions/issues. Integration with SAP might be helpful to our company as well. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** As stated above, our SOD analysis for our Oracle application would take an extensive amount of time if performed manually. Fastpath allows us to refine our parameters to highlight any medium/high risk conflicts in order to make our action plan more efficient. ### 37. When you have all security roles or SOD-risks assigned to your users, Fastpath saves you a lot of time. We have been able to complete our reviews in around a month instead of it taking 2-3 months. Also, I must mention the Security designer, which will save you hours and dollars when designing roles and decreasing license costs. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I am not able to have a user assigned to one conflict/role in one legal entity and another conflict/role in another legal entity. The way it works now is that the user is assigned to both conflicts/roles in all legal entities that they are restricted to. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Designing security roles, keeping license costs low, and managing our access control reviews. Currently, this has to be done manually as automating the review of the entire access data set would not be feasible. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** If you want to avoid costly and time-consuming security remediation and potentially high access-related risks post-ERP implementation, I recommend considering using FastPath to help in the design and validation of ERP security roles pre-implementation and working with a proven and reputable security and controls design vendor to get security and controls right the first time. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** FastPath Assure has allowed me to be quick and effective in security remediation when redesigning and testing Oracle Cloud security roles. FastPath Assure has also been critical in designing accurate access monitoring rules that help to eliminate false positives. Without FastPath Assure in the past, it was a tedious process to understand who had access to what and if there was unauthorized access, it took a longer time to analyze ERP access architecture and figure out solutions. ### 41. We like the reporting that we regularly use for meeting Audit PBC requests for security controls. The software is an integral part of our SOX Compliance toolkit. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** Nothing that comes to mind currently. Because of competing priorities, there are features that we aren't even using yet, so looking forward to the opportunity to explore the future use of Identity Manager and ARM. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Recommend making sure that you learn as much about the product as you can early to get the most value. Take advantage of the online training - there is a lot of valuable content. Also, don't be afraid to submit support tickets. The out of the box reports for ARM and Audit Trail is invaluable to providing the necessary information to meet our SOX reporting requirements. These were absolute must-haves for our business requirements to not only satisfy our internal but external auditors. When we implemented Single Sign-On, my accounting team breathed a huge sigh of relief they didn't have to remember ANOTHER password to log into the ERP system. It works seamlessly, and when the user changes their Windows password, ConfigAD prompts the user to enter their new password and logs them straight into the application. Audit Trail is fantastic and has saved us several times when somebody entered a change in the ERP system, causing a negative impact. I was able to look up who made those changes and when thereby providing details of what happened. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** I haven't found anything to dislike about FastPath or their suite of tools; they're excellent and help Admins and C-level people stay on top of their data. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Request a demo of all the products and make sure they line up with your business requirements and answers all the pain points your business is currently experiencing with audit compliance. We had little confidence the data extracted was accurate or precisely what was needed by the audit teams. FastPath changed all this for us. Having everything in a single place (FastPath Assure), with the proper connections to the underlying databases, using the right tools, we are confident in the extracted data meeting our auditor's needs. We are also implementing the scheduling piece to cease to be a manual process; automated scheduling saves us time and money. ### 46. I am making time to work through all of the modules so that I can leverage them for our IT and Finance Compliance programs. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Understand what your compliance needs are ahead of reviewing Fastpath or any compliance application. Ensure that your ERP Administrator is involved in the initial set-up. One of the aspects of Fastpath that I appreciate is the test environment. I can test any of my report configurations, etc. in this environment before re-creating them in the production environment. Be prepared to be delighted with this product. I know this isn't something you hear often, but I actually enjoy working in the environment to do lookbacks and preparing quick access reviews, as well as manager access reviews. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Let's begin with just the day-to-day documentation our program needs for access reviews. The best example is our manager access reviews (access certifications in Fastpath). I had to do them manually when my previous company first migrated to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365); it took over 120 man-hours to prepare the reviews. Having added the AD module, it took about 15 man-hours to prepare ahead of the access reviews. I've moved to another organization that also has D365 to set up and run their compliance program - the first request I made was that we get Fastpath to do the heavy lifting for our compliance tracking. I'm still learning how to use the Audit Trail module -- but I can already tell you - you want this module :-) ### 48. We were up and running with Assure, performing regularly scheduled security object exports from a hosted D365 FO environment within a couple hours AND with minimal participation from IT resources. Equally, the toolset for interrogating D365 FO security objects is very intuitive for anyone who has reasonable flight time in the D365 security framework - it can literally reveal information that would otherwise take many hours or days to dissect. **What do you dislike about Fastpath?** That I did not develop the product myself. **Recommendations to others considering Fastpath:** Take time to review the available support documentation and take advantage of the web resources/video tutorials that Fastpath offers. Ensure that you have a fundamental understanding of Dynamics D365 FO Roles/Duties/Privileges hierarchies and security framework. **What problems is Fastpath solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was able to extract the lowest level (Privilege) security information from multiple roles in a single report. This report, coupled with the ability to export the data in a variety of formats, allowed me to create a single, custom role based on the aggregate Privileges of multiple roles without dealing with the unfortunate side-effects of nested subroles. For anyone who has ever been asked to remove "that one offending button" from some user's access without affecting anyone else requiring that button, this capability is invaluable. ### 49.
