I use it frequently to see new news regarding my portfolio. FactSet is great if you do not have bloomberg terminal as it provides news, in real time. **What do you dislike about FactSet Portfolio Analytics?** Definitely takes some time to learn the platform and become comfortable with the different settings **Recommendations to others considering FactSet Portfolio Analytics:** FactSet is great if you need a quick company snapshot. It provides all the data in PDF or excel converts. It is very easy to model and works in compliment to Bloomberg. **What problems is FactSet Portfolio Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** FactSet is extremely helpful during earnings season as it has all of their info, call times, financial data. The FactSet representatives are extremely knowledgeable and available all the time to answer my questions and assist with time sensitive manners. ### 2. The information and way it is displayed also allows all types of investors and the board access to very good information that allows them to make informed decisions on what is a complex fund. We used Factset for five years and never had any issues! **What do you dislike about FactSet Portfolio Analytics?** We have yet to really have any issues. On some occasions when we have had teething issues or wanted something new, we have struggled to get feedback but overall we are happy with the service we receive. **What problems is FactSet Portfolio Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** providing the investment management team with additional tools to perform at their best and bridging the gap between the portfolio managers and investors to improve transparency and ensure investors are comfortable. ### 3. It also allowed for a real look into factors that drive investment fund performance. I also liked the SPAR module which allowed me to run returns based analysis and ex post risk stats. **What do you dislike about FactSet Portfolio Analytics?** Sometimes the system is a bit slow which would cause a number of problem. I also don't like that you can't run a look through attribution in batcher which essentially means that you have to run it in PA3. **Recommendations to others considering FactSet Portfolio Analytics:** Make sure you complete implementation fully before going live. **What problems is FactSet Portfolio Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** The attribution model is great, it has huge amount of capabilities and you can really look drill down into various factors of performance. It goves you stock and market history, performance, values and allows you to run custom charting for time periods you need. Depending on your place of employment you can also pull your individual account performance and asset allocation into the program. **What do you dislike about FactSet Portfolio Analytics?** Sometimes there is just too much data and I have a really hard time finding historical performance numbers because you have to do some analysis of your own. **What problems is FactSet Portfolio Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** Honestly it's excellent for analyzing securities and answering client questions. It's great having everything in one place. ### 6.
