I love the ease of all the different uses. Gradebook, attendance, behavior notes. I love how it is easily used to see schedules and test scores for students and the report feature enabling you to run reports and see results almost instantaneously. I love the organzational skills that it has to offer. Very friendly user and the features to make my job easy on the regular. We can confidently say that all information is in a safe place and a button away when we need it. I love the tech support when I have needed help managing something SIS. They are very knowledge and 100% of the time I have learned more through their help and support. We made the switch to FACTS over the past year, hitting the ground running in August. Even with the learning curve, FACTS Support (management and general) has been there to help guide me through issues that arise. It is easy to reach out for assistance by phone. As the SIS administrator and a teacher, I use FACTs pretty much all day, every day, including weekends. Once comfortable with the system, I have found it easy to work with the different facets, from maintenance to configuration to grading and running reports. I like how the system "reminds" teachers when attendance is missed and that FACTS has an external status site where I can check when a system program is down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about FACTS SIS (Student Information System)? There are only three areas in which I see room for improvement. The system can occasionally be " flaky, " where I need to close down and restart or refresh the browser. That can be a bit annoying. Another is just an aesthetic note—I wish our admin/teacher/SIS Home page could be tweaked so that I could place information just for faculty and staff instead of seeing the latest FACTS announcements, which can be found in other locations on the site. We also had a difficult integration/implementation of our current families, especially those who didn't have a traditional family unit; i.e., divorced parents, custodial grandparents, and families with children in both the preschool and k-12 systems SIS and financial systems. We had issues with the Parent/Teacher Conference, the online connection between Teachers and Parents, and the SIS Family Portal. FACTS IT worked on a solution and we should be good to go for the Spring Conferences. We had issues connecting/communicating with our specific support manager but seems to have worked itself out. We are starting online enrollment process for the first time for new and returning families.
