There are several areas where I believe improvements could be made. Although the interface is functional, it often feels outdated and requires several clicks to accomplish basic tasks. Introducing a more modern dashboard with customizable shortcuts would greatly enhance usability.

Building custom reports is currently complex and can take a significant amount of time. Implementing more intuitive drag-and-drop reporting tools or providing ready-made templates would make data analysis much easier for both teachers and administrators.

The mobile app is useful for quick updates, but it does not offer the full range of features available on the desktop version. Expanding the app’s capabilities for grading, messaging, and attendance would be especially helpful for staff who need to work while on the move.

Improved compatibility with platforms like Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and various curriculum software would streamline workflows and help avoid duplicate data entry.

I appreciate that families are able to begin their experience with FACTS by submitting an online application to the school, followed by a smooth transition for accepted students directly into the SIS system. This platform is very helpful, as it allows parents to easily view their children's grades, homework assignments, and important school announcements. They also have a wonderful support system. When used alongside A&E, Tuition Management, and Grant & Aid, FACTS provides a comprehensive solution for our school's needs. As someone who uses FACTS daily, I sometimes encounter system issues that the general support team does not fully understand. However, our Account Manager is extremely knowledgeable, consistently identifying and resolving these issues promptly, and has shared valuable tips that have helped me refine my daily processes and improve efficiency in my role. Several areas of the product are not intuitive and can be clunky for a first-time user. The biggest limitation right now is not being able to replicate the teacher's user experience in order to troubleshoot in-house. Teachers are teaching during customer support hours and navigating issues they have in the classroom is a hassle since Admin users can't narrow their view to the teacher view. Many areas of the platform are being re-written, and often the re-writes make clear the changes are being designed by individuals with no experience in the field of education.
