## About EZRADIUS
EZRADIUS by Keytos is a cloud RADIUS service that helps IT and security teams authenticate users and devices on Wi-Fi, VPN, and wired networks without running on-premises RADIUS infrastructure. Built by ex-Microsoft engineers, it is designed to replace Microsoft NPS, FreeRADIUS, and other legacy RADIUS servers with a fully managed, cloud-native service that integrates natively with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune. Organizations use EZRADIUS to move from password-based network authentication to certificate-based, passwordless access, supporting Zero Trust initiatives, PCI DSS and HIPAA compliance programs, and the retirement of legacy on-premises authentication servers. EZRADIUS supports passwordless, certificate-based authentication via EAP-TLS, along with MSCHAP-v2, EAP-TTLS, PEAP, and MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB). It integrates natively with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, allowing device compliance and group-membership checks to be enforced at authentication time. Both Classic RADIUS and RadSec (RADIUS over TLS) are supported, with dynamic IP options for distributed and remote sites. EZRADIUS works with any existing PKI or pairs with EZCA, Keytos's cloud certificate authority, for end-to-end passwordless deployment. Audit logs, dashboards, and log streaming to existing SIEM or Azure Log Analytics workspaces are included, and the service is available through the Azure Marketplace with MACC-eligible billing or directly through Keytos with a free trial. Common use cases include WPA2-Enterprise and WPA3-Enterprise Wi-Fi authentication for corporate and guest networks, BYOD certificate enrollment and Wi-Fi profile distribution for non-managed devices, segmented network access for IoT and point-of-sale (POS) devices, VPN authentication, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) rollouts, and migration from Microsoft NPS, FreeRADIUS, and other legacy on-premises RADIUS deployments. EZRADIUS is typically deployed in hours rather than the weeks or months required for on-premises RADIUS, with video tutorials and guides for all the most popular network vendors, including Cisco Meraki, UniFi, Ruckus, and Fortinet. Customers pay only for the identities that authenticate each month and can scale from 10 to 10,000+ identities without changing their configuration.

## EZRADIUS Reviews
 ### 1. EZRADIUS Makes 802.1X Manageable with Clear Policies, Logs, and Entra ID Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gayan K. | System and Network Administrator, Information Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

What I like best about EZRADIUS: it makes 802.1X deployment genuinely manageable for a small IT team, the policy-based approach (EAP-TLS for corporate, MAC-based fallback for BYOD/guest, OUI-based for IP phones) is straightforward to configure once you understand the tiered policy model, and it integrates cleanly with Entra ID for identity-based access decisions. The admin console and logs are clear enough that troubleshooting auth failures (e.g., spotting "no matching access policy" errors) is fast rather than a guessing game. Combined with EZCA for certificate issuance via Intune/SCEP, it removes the traditional pain of standing up and maintaining an on-prem PKI and NPS server.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

things like the need for explicit fallback policies for unknown MACs aren't always obvious upfront, and it took some trial-and-error troubleshooting to get there. More guided setup wizards or clearer warnings for common misconfigurations (missing fallback policy, VLAN attribute formatting) would shorten the learning curve.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EZRADIUS is solving our biggest network security gap - we previously had no real way to control who/what could join our network beyond static PSKs and MAC filtering, which is weak and hard to manage at scale. Now we've got proper 802.1X authentication with dynamic VLAN assignment, so corporate devices, IP phones, and guest/BYOD gear automatically land on the right network segment based on who they are, without manual port-by-port configuration.
The benefit is real peace of mind: unauthorized devices can't just plug in and get full network access anymore, and when something does go wrong, the logs make it quick to pinpoint whether it's a cert issue, a policy gap, or a VLAN mismatch - rather than spending hours guessing. It's also cut down the manual overhead of managing access for new starters and guests, since it's now policy-driven rather than someone manually updating switch configs.

 ### 2. Vital for Secure Device Authentication, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike L. | Sr. Information Security Engineer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

I find EZRADIUS easy to use, which is very important for our authentication needs. Their support team is quick and knowledgeable and available when I need them, not just when they can get to it. I appreciate the chat support interface because it eliminates the standard ticket system and makes troubleshooting faster. Their documentation is very helpful, not just for their product but it also guides integration with third-party products. Also, the initial setup was very easy and took less effort than most projects I worked on that year.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

Their audit log portal and some of the user portal interfaces are not fully detailed with information or are cut off and sometimes hard to interact with. I can usually get around the UI issues by resizing the page zoom, but then that makes text smaller and harder to read.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EZRADIUS is crucial for authenticating approved devices and blocking unknown ones, ensuring compliance with CMMC certification. It simplifies support interaction and provides comprehensive documentation for integration with third-party products.

 ### 3. Truly Cloud RADIUS service that integrates with Entra ID

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renzo Patricio C. | Senior System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

The fact that we don't need to deploy any server to have our users to authenticate in the wireless with their Entra credentials. Also, the setup is straightforward and price is not affordable, especially for mid-size businesses.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

I like the product overall, but if I have to point something that needs improvement is the logs. If they could be less generic it would be better.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved to a fully cloud-based setup, and the last thing still keeping us on-prem was a RADIUS server for authenticating users on our Wi‑Fi. EZRADIUS solved that problem for us.

 ### 4. Easy Setup, Strong Reporting, and Seamless Microsoft Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

Ease of setup and the reporting tools are what I like best about EZRADIUS. The Microsoft integration makes user rollout fantastic, and it helps keep the setup and management process simple. The pricing is also very competitive for what is included, and the SaaS management UI is easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

Compared to Microsoft’s built-in options and other competitors, I really do not have any complaints about EZRADIUS. It has been easy to set up, simple to manage, and the Microsoft integration works well for our rollout needs.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EZRADIUS is helping us manage multiple locations with certificate-based authentication. We have a user base that travels between locations, and this solution has satisfied our requirements for secure access, easier rollout, and centralized management.

 ### 5. Simple, Cloud-First Architecture with Great Pricing and Rock-Solid WiFi

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milan S. | IS Manager - Customer Delivery, APAC , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

It is a very simply architecture product and does what it promises to do. The pricing is also great, this has helped us move away from on prem ISE dependency and not a single WiFi failure since we migrated. This is a cloud first approach model and fits perfectly into our organization. The support and onboarding has been great. The documentation is great and self explanatory.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

At this point in time there is nothing to dislike.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remove Legacy hardware
Remove Password dependency
has dual security verification(zero trust structure)
No downtime

 ### 6. Efficient Network Policy Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

I like how the access permissions between EZRADIUS SaaS on Azure and the EZRADIUS web app are segregated. The users having access to Azure service principal don't get automatically migrated with their access to the EZRADIUS web app. The policies being streamlined, similar to a software center where all policies are centralized and pushed across devices, to help enforce and harden network connectivity for Wi-Fi. This ease of maintaining these policies is particularly valuable since the current network policies are tedious to maintain.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

1. Requiring global admin access while subscribing in Azure as SaaS. I believe this can be improved by handling it with other privileges. 2. During the initial setup, there was an issue where the keytos enterprise application didn’t deploy, but this was fixed after debugging and using a ms logon URL. 2. Documentation to register the app can still be more clear. Because, it currently asks to do two app registrations and it should have a troubleshooting guide just below those guide or like a FAQs example. Trouble setting up keytos registration? something like that

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EZRADIUS streamlines network policy management, centralizing and automating policies like a software center, making maintenance easy. It reduces the tediousness of manual network policy deployment, enhancing wifi connectivity management and ensuring efficient network hardening.

 ### 7. Simplifies Certificate-Based Authentication Efficiently

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

I like the simplicity and especially the integration with the EZCA, which is just a couple of clicks, and you're done. There's no need for setting up specific tunnels with the web, making it so easy. Setting up certificate-based authentication is usually tough, but with EZRADIUS, it's just about selecting options from a dropdown. It's user-friendly even if you're not a cryptography expert. Additionally, the initial setup was honestly really simple with a couple of clicks here and there, supported by a pretty good step-by-step article and videos on YouTube that I used most of the time.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

Currently, there's an integration problem with the Ubiquiti UniFi U6 wireless access points, but it's not necessarily EZRADIUS's fault. Some of our smaller/older offices are needing to acquire either static IPs or needing to upgrade to U7, which is a hiccup for now. Setting up the RADSEC service for RADIUS server TLS was also challenging at first because of the need to find several certificates and keys, which took some time and testing for someone unfamiliar with cryptography like myself. A bit more thorough documentation could help with this.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EZRADIUS lets me avoid maintaining hardware by skipping physical and cloud servers, simplifying NPS with certificate-based authentication. This reduces phishing risks compared to passwords.

 ### 8. Easy RADIUS Setup with Entra—Up and Running Fast

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

It’s very easy to set up RADIUS authentication with Entra and get up and running in a short time.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

If you have a lot of sites that require different configurations, it can get confusing—especially when you also have a lot of admins trying to manage the settings.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up a RADIUS server is straightforward, especially if you’re in a Microsoft 365 environment with Entra. We tried other solutions, but none of them integrated with Entra properly. With those options, we would have had to either set up an on-prem AD server that syncs with Entra or maintain a separate user database just for Wi‑Fi authentication.

 ### 9. Easy to implement and use

Providing easy authentication for our large number of users and the cost efficient plan has reduced the overhead of our network team!

 ### 12. EZRADIUS: Easy Setup, Great for Intune Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about EZRADIUS?**

I love how EZRADIUS is easy to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot. It simplifies the process significantly by reducing the time spent on manual configuring and patching. I also appreciate its capability to use Intune objects for authentication, a feature that's not available with on-prem RADIUS. This ease and functionality make it extremely valuable for our 802.1x authentication with Intune devices.

**What do you dislike about EZRADIUS?**

The logs can sometimes be overwhelming and hard to diagnose what the actual issue is. There will be hundreds of logs saying SSL handshake error not showing anything else.

**What problems is EZRADIUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EZRADIUS supports Intune device authentication which was not possible with on-prem RADIUS. It's easy to set up and maintain, reducing time spent on manual configuration and patching.
