**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

I love how easy it was to set up Evessio Awards. Even though I've run awards programs for years and used different platforms, this one was incredibly straightforward and required no tech support. Julie, my client success person, made transitioning smooth and effortless. The platform reduced our team's time significantly, allowing us to do everything in-house and giving us more time in our workday to execute the program. The ease of setting up the website on my own, designing different questions for categories, and the seamless judging process stand out as highly valuable features.

Honestly nothing - but I could always use more detailed reporting!

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

As a frequent administrative user of Evessio Awards, I find the platform quite intuitive to use.  Being a Finance user, my primary interest is in transactional data and invoices.  I like how simple it is to download copies of invoices from transactions.

The reporting functionality is nice. I was able to easily put together a report to fulfil my needs without needing to refer to any documentation.

The functionality to be able to edit invoice details easily is hugely beneficial to us.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

I dislike the lack of a global search function.  As a finance user, it would be hugely beneficial to be able to perform a global search on invoice number, name, email address etc, all Awards without having to go into a specific award.

I dislike the current delays in file delivery which is impacting the delivery of data into our accounting system.

It would be good to be able to retrieve actual sent emails (currently we can only view the content of the email not the email itself) as we sometime requires these as evidence.

Dislike the current bug that occurs when trying to edit invoices but unable to save.

Dislike the delay sometimes experienced to receive the authentication code required to login.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

Evessio is a great platform with how user friendly it is. Don't get me wrong, training is required and reference to help documents has been used throughout the process but overall the experience I had using Evessio has been super simple and easy to navigate and understand.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

The only thing I would say is a limitation is the website back end and how you add content - the filing system is a little confusing and it does take a bit of time to find exactly what you're looking for.

**What problems is Evessio Awards solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Operations Management of entries - we use to be paper based and eventually move to JotForm / Google Forms for our entry process, this caused complications for users as they were unable to save their work or preview the form - with Evessio this eliminates the need to complete the entry then and there (which is a lot of information).

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

We are in our third year using Evessio for our annual awards, and it has significantly streamlined our process. The platform makes it easy to manage everything from nominations to judging and announcements, saves us hours of manual work, limits errors and it just gets easier and better with every year past. 

It is great how quickly you can have a working awards website with all the necessary functionalities, a great benefit, especially when you don't have experience in running awards and don't necessarily know what you need right from the start. The platform is great at guiding you through the process. 

One of the best things about the platform is the customer support and the personalised training that is available. The team is truly great. They are always responsive and quick to assist with any queries, however big or small, and they are always committed to finding a solution.

Evessio is enabling us to run awards as an addition to our main business, without it becoming a full-time job, saving us time and money, and helping a small business grow.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

There is very little I dislike about the platform. Whenever there is a frustration built up that I can't do something, or that is not working quite like I think it should, I am always met with understanding and calm explanation of how I can actually achieve my goal. It is rear that after speaking to customer service you feel better, rather than frustrated, but with Evession, this is definitely the case.

**What problems is Evessio Awards solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Evessio provided us with an easy-to-use and fast solution of creating a new dimension to our business. We wanted to add awards as part of the event we were created, as we wanted to celebrate and recognise so many deserving people and companies but did not know how to go about it or had the time and resources for a custom build solution. Evessio was what allowed us to achieve our idea, and quickly. Since then, it has saved us hours of manual work, which as a small business where everybody is doing a bit of everything, saving time is absolutely crucial. And with our growing confidence in the platform is also our growing confidence that we can keep supporting the wonderful people in our chosen industry.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

So far, Evessio has proven to be a seamless facilitator for our awards and integrated well into our programme. There is a sense of reassurance and ease knowing the platform will, and has, performed reliably and consistently throughout - rather than as a potential barrier to progress and entry. Moreover, it has afforded the team more time and capacity to focus on other key areas of the programme which is a huge relief. Combined with the Evessio team's responsive and on-hand level of customer support, the switch to Evessio has been a joy.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

There are some features or levels of metadata which would be helpful for us to have more access and oversight that Evessio does not seem to provide. This namely relates to information on initiated entries, transaction metadata when pulling reports from payment portals such as Stripe and the ability to dynamically adjust product price/basket subtotal based on company size which is a key component of our awards. That being said, each of these queries have been raised with the support team and Evessio has sought to proactively source a solution or workaround where possible which is greatly appreciated.

**What problems is Evessio Awards solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From what we can see, Evessio facilitates the user entry process and journey excellently. We have found far fewer customer complaints or issues relating to technical issues within the platform that inhibit entries being completed/initiated, which has allowed the team to focus efforts elsewhere for the programme and be on hand for other general queries about the programme.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

We moved to Evessio after managing our awards process manually for a number of years. The difference has been substantial - even with the time needed to set up the sites and categories, we've gained so much back and it's so helpful to have everything in one place, from judges and the judging process to entries, shortlists, agendas, speakers and tickets. They have clearly thought hard about all sorts of use cases, so I'm confident the platform will continue to suit us as our needs grow and evolve. The tech support team are really responsive (and patient!) and the training documents are pretty comprehensive, as was the initial training itself. Overall I'm really impressed with their offering, and a number of our judges and entrants have commented how much smoother the process has  been.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

Literally the only criticism I have is that it's not the most intuitive system to use. I needed the training offered and have relied on their help library a fair bit. However this is because it has so much functionality, and I can see from navigating that there's a lot I could do in the future.

Large administrative burden for an awards process, they've brought it all together in one place (and mostly out of my inbox!) and has made it easier for a team of people to work on them.

Once we were set up, the entire process was very straightforward. 
No more having to keep track of paper entries or sending anything to judges. Everything was available all in one place and it was so easy to regularly check reports, entries logged/entries submitted/judging progress etc.

No complaints! (We really only used one feature of the platform for our awards. But any time there was an issue, Evessio had it quickly resolved for us)

Evessio is a slick, easy-to-use, purpose-built platform that has dramatically improved how we run our awards and resulted in an increase in entries and better experience for both entrants and judges.

You can't fully duplicate all content added to the site from the previous year, so this creates extra work for us to copy across and reupload information.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

Signing up to Evessio has been a game changer for us. We run multiple awards events and had been using an archaic platform to accept entries and had relied on spreadsheets and a lot of manual labour to pull together information for judges.
 
The results were instant we saw an increase in entries, in no small part down to people being able to amend their entries as they go and also us being able to see who was part way through the process and us then being able to send reminders to complete entries. This increase in entries resulted in longer shortlists and more ticket sales revenues.
 
But the biggest bonus benefit was efficiency. It is now so easy to compile info for judges as it’s already in the system in an easy to access format. This meant all I had to do was provide judges access to the platform and the entries were there ready for judging.
 
The team at evessio are the reason we’ve expanded our partnership with them. They are a joy to deal with, know what we want achieve and are so prompt in delivering tasks or answering questions.
 
I would strongly recommend Evessio to anyone who is running an Awards event to use their platform.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

One development i'd like to see is a user generated email platform so we can create our own reminder emails ourselves rather than having evessio queue it up for us. We can send the messages out but i'd be happy to see it self adminsitered. 

But I have no dislikes of Evessio it is a great team and a great platform.

Time management for judging, easy online ticket sales and a reliable entries platform.

That everything is all in one place from entries, to being to showcase the shortlist and winners without having to use multiple systems to get the same results.

It isn't very user-intuitive. You really don't know what you don't know, so not really able to ask the questions to get to the functions that you need.

The awards system and judging features are excellent. Very intuitive, and our volunteers love using the system.

The load time of pages in both admin portals and front-facing site can be long at times.

We are an international awards programme, and the system allows volunteers from across the globe to engage with our programme.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

By using Evessio Awards it has saved our team weeks of sifting through submissions manually and checking word counts. The software has enabled us to be more efficient in our Awards delivery by taking away the manual checking process. 

Our marketing team have benefited from seeing the real 'live time' of entries in baskets and enabling them to market those categories with less entries.  

The Judging process is brilliant, we can see how many entries the Judges have scored in live time and this enables us to ensure Judges are staying on track with the agreed scheduled. 

We have invested in the Award table plan tool, making our event more sustainable. No longer do we need to print A0 Boards which are outdated before the event, we can update the table plan in live time and send the QR Code via email to all attendees. 

The full onboarding process from the team has been excellent, the support team have gone above and beyond to assist us when in need. It was an easy system to implement, we are tight timelines which the team were able to accommodate. 

We have worked with the team to create a customisable development for our Awards process, which again will result with time and money saved for the team.  

Thank you Evessio for making the process of delivering our Awards more efficient and cost effective, we could never go back!

The platform has a lot of complex funcitionalities and capabilities which will just require time to understand all of them fully.

Evessio Awards has resulted in us provide more time to the Judges for the actual Judging process. Previously as a team we would have to sift through over 300 plus entries manually, check they hadn't exceeded the word count before we shared with the Judges. The software enables us to by pass this stage resulting in just a week instead of three to sift through the submissions before they go over to the Judges. With the number of entries increasing YOY this time saved has been a huge success for us. The platform is also more user friendly for our Judges, they can log on and track their own progress and see it in real time enabling them to manage their own schedules. Previously they would complete online spreadsheets, this way has made it overall more efficient.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

Organising Award ceremonies is a complex and often misunderstood process. The intricacies of entries, marketing campaigns, judging recruitment and execution, shortlisting, table sales, and guest list management, are each complex in their own right - and there are plenty of dependencies between those elements which technology platforms would struggle to address. Evessio is a rare breed of technology product; a system which fully understands the outcomes of its customers, owns every function in the process tree, and delivers a seamless and easy to manage end-product. 

The usability of the back-end is superior to other systems, and the ability to make changes on the fly (even if you are not an HTML wizard) is a huge selling point. Customer service and support is prompt and those responding to queries etc fully understand both their own product and the needs of the business. Support team(s) don't pretend they can resolve unique challenges, instead being fully honest and up front about instances they are unable to address - proposing alternatives and workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

Managing multiple products as we do via one system is great, but rolling out mass-updates across all products is a labour-intensive process. Sometimes the linking of pages, widgets, and other content types can be overwhelming or seem confusing. This is mainly due to the complexity of some sites and the huge bredth of possibilities on the platform; as the platform's features and functions grow, so does the challenge of finding stuff without searching forever. Largely the UI is helpful and consistent, which means you can almost always find what you need - but sometimes this falls flat. 

Some elements of the system are clunky; formatting in the non-HTML content designer is not intuitive (and you end up needing to use HTML for it to be seamless, which the majority of our project managers are not). The adaptive container boxes/widgets (where elements are resized according to screen size) are extremely useful in some circumstances, and irritating/not suitable in other circumstances; fixing height/width again relies on some hard-changes - our resource is limited here so this relies on support or expansion of said resource.

**What problems is Evessio Awards solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All in one solution for Awards ceremony management; prior to Evessio we were using an old inefficient and dead product to manage online judging; but everything else was performed offline. The front-end of the websites were clunky, old fashioned, and offered a poor user experience.
Evessio solves all of those challenges and more.

We've been using the platform for a number of years and find it very intituitve and easy to navigate. 

Setting up events websites and registration processes is quick and easy. The reporting is great and you we can create custom reports based on a wide range of metrics which is always helpful.

The Evessio suport team are very helpful and the response time is very quick.

It's also very positive seeing how much development goes into the platform and often new development releases are very helpful or provide some nice quick wins!

Nothing major springs to mind here, but we'd love to see the ability to copy some of the collaborator content when cloning events in the future, as often we will have repeat sponsors or speakers and this would save the need to re-upload their information to the platform.

Evessio was recommended to me by an industry peer and has proven to be a complete, off-the-shelf yet tailored awards organising solution. Having a platform which gives me so many options across branding, entering, monitoring, plus several layers of judging ability is perfect.

Not least as I was looking for a solution that could be implemented very, very quickly following an aquisition. The integration process was seemless, supported and conclusive.

The platform is very user friendly and intuitive even for those with light experience on a form of CMS or web-based SAAS, but then support from the team is never far away - in fact it's never not there. Whilst I would be surprised if the company didn't grow to very large heights, I am able to speak with the senior team at any point and they're always keen to check-in with me, too. Support wise it's more a friendship than a necessity and that's just always good news for any size of business.

Anything I haven't like has either been ironed-out, or having been explained, actually makes more sense than I was thinking. How can you critique a firm who listens to their clients so intently?

Evessio awards is a very straight forward system to use and one which is easy to navigate and quick.  When setting up events and checking products everything is clear and concise when navigating and on many occasions is easy to find the resolution for any issues which may arise.

There are some good how to videos and help documents.

The support team are very knowlegable and helpful and always respond well within their SLA's.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

I feel there a few things which could be improved upon but I feel like dislike is a strong word and not something which I feel towards Evessio Awards.

I believe the help documents could be simplified and certainly explained in a more clear and concise manner, sometimes the language is technical or does not provide reasons as to why a process happens as it does and that information would be beneficial for understanding the system better.

The area where I have most frustrations are setting up products, even though all of the information is correct the date validation often fails and there is no straight-forward reason to this and often you have to play around and select multiple different options before it will save and that should never be the case.

If it is an Event Attendance product then the dates should be Event Attedance open and close, I should not have to select Event Close to save a product then at different times the product date selection must match the product category.

Evessio Awards is solving the management of multiple events, including awards, working lunches and more.

It is benefitting us by having a continual record of events, the simplicity of copying and amending events for the following year.

Some of our events would benefit from allowing submitters to access judges' feedback in their admin area post-event. Currently, admins can access this, which means we can provide the feedback but it would be a good enhancement. 

Evessio make it very easy to add user feedback and requests to their roadmap, so if there are areas like judge feedback, that we think could work better for our team we can communicate that simply on the platform. There is also transparency as to what they are working on which is very helpful.

As an event platform it has a truly wide-ranging array of features and functionality making everything from the original entry submission process through to the judging and final guest booking transaction easy. Evession consoldiates and to a  significant extent automates what could otherwise be a complex and error-prone array of inputs, steps  and stages involved in running a food awards programme. Once you get used to the system it is easy to use and you have good control over multiple elements of running an event. I like the fact that we can use the same system for running differnet types of event as we run exhibitons, awards and conferences. There is good reporting of finacials and the visaibilty on the basket process is useful for our sales teams. The team are incredibly helpful and quick to respond when you need some help.

The email templates function is limited and causes some probelmsfor us on events. Changes to to system and suggestions from users can take a while to be addressed although changes have been made to this now so I am hoping things wil speed up a bit.

Ulitmately a bespoke website that is custom built for your company/event would be ideal as you can get it to do exactly what you want but if budget doesn't allow then this system ticks a lot of the boxes and doesn't cost the earth

We find the platform easy to use and have been able to combine our award events, ticket sales and marketing platforms in to one product. We  are now able to run our full suite of award events from start to finish on one platform.

The mailshot functionality is not as flexable as we would like, and the scheduling  function not suitable for our events team. Our web designers currently find the system slightly restrictive and would like the underlying frame work updated.

The Evessio Awards platform allows us to smoothly run our diverse awards events with the flexibility of having multiple online judging rounds. This has enabled us to reduce the admin process and expand our portfolio of events.

We switched to Evessio two years ago for our biggest annual awards and we haven't looked back since. The team quickly set up the entries platform, whilst ensuring it followed our brand guidelines and supported 



Entry and ticket revenue have increased year on year and we can partly attribute this to Evessio, due to the powerful insights available.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

It's difficult to identify any major dislikes, as Evessio continuously releases new updates and you're able to raise development ideas within the platform. If I was to make two suggestions it would be more flexibility with the labeling of sections on the front end and the option to send separate automatic emails for entries and tickets when they're both live.

An end-to-end system enabling us to manage entries, shortlisting, judging and tickets all in one place. All team members can easily be trained and we're able to receive insights into users behaviour.

We discovered Evessio in 2022 when looking to create our first awards event. 

Our goal was to create an awards event, but not get hung up on creating our own technology, or indeed having any complex technology behind it. 

Evessio gave us an out of the box solution that allowed us to spin up an awards event very quickly, and with lots of supports along the way. 

The account management and customer service teams are top-notch – we get swift responses to our inquiries, and they handle any problems effectively and swiftly.

Evessio are a great partner to work with.

We found the interface takes some getting used to but once you have familiarised yourself with it and spent some time using it, that disappeares and everything is quite intuitive.

Evessio is a one stop shop platform for everything awards. By buying the platform we could spin up our awards event almost overnight and avoid any tech requirements ourselves.

It's user friendly, it's got unique features that make awards adminstration so straightforward and it's judging capabilities mean that everything can be done in one place. The platform is completely customisable and simple to replicate and clone year on year for our annual awards! It is clear to use and the documents and resources to be able to navigate through the site creation are extremely helpful. The team behind evessio are so helpful and supportive too and no challenge to is too big or small of them. The judging feature is a highlight for me and it means i can take a step back and allow the judges to complete the judging easily and effectively.There are so many different design options when creating the front end of our awards website, allowing us to create a professional and eye catching website for our customers. The back end has so many helpful features too such as the mailing system to be able to directly email certain groups all through the system. To be able to do so much through one platform is just brilliant.

It takes a couple of go's to get used to navigating around the platform but once youve played around a couple of times and followed the helpful user guides it is really easy to use.

It is an all in one system which means we can carry out nominations, judging and table booking all in one place. Also the fact we can create completely customisable branded pages as we need is vital. The user experience for awards nominees and judges is always seamless as the system is easy to navigate on all sides. The fact there are multiple payment options too makes it quick and easy for customers to make a transaction. The data and reporting features are very helpful too and being able to set targets and see benchmarks throughout is brilliant.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

Evessio was recommended to us back in 2015 and we haven't looked back since! We used their platform to launch our annual Awards ceremony in 2015 and our annual Conference in 2017 – both of which are still going strong thanks to all their help.

Both the account management and support team are fantastic – any queries we have are answered very promptly and any issues resolved quickly. 

Having used the platform for nearly ten years I find it very straight forward to use – creating new websites is quick and easy which means I can create these myself without having to rely upon the team (although I am sure they would be twice as fast as I am!).

The websites themselves look fantastic and from a user perspective, the websites are easy to navigate and to use. Because of this, we don't have to worry about fielding emails from customers unable to use the site and can concentrate on the more important stuff.

I've been using Evessio for a year and a half now, and I can't say enough good things about their platform and their amazing support team. One of the things that really stood out to me during my time working with Evessio was their exceptional support - whenever I ran into a problem or had a question about how to implement something into my website, their support team was quick to help me out. Paul, in particular, has been fantastic to work with. He's incredibly knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile to make sure I have a solution. It's evident that Evessio genuinely cares about its customers as they have always been there for me when I needed!

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

The only downside is not being able to see the changes as you go - you need to make the changes and save to be able to see how it looks live. A "drag and drop" option would be nice!

We have multiple Awards over the course of the year for different products run by different teams.  The Evessio customer service and training has been amazing, providing additional training as needed to ensure the onboarding and creation of new sites is quick.

Whenever we've need to do any changes to the template to give us additional design tweaks it's been done quickly

We have all our Awards products using the same platform as well for our many Conferences.  The teams can share knowledge and help each other. We have a quarterly co-oridnation meeting which Evessio attend.  We can therefore ensure new functionality is understood and implemented in a consistent way without the need to create multiple templates and everyone going in different directions.  Support from staff in other teams to give advise is also a great benefit for the business.

The team is incredibly helpful. The events are easy to set up, and the system is straightforward easy to use for all. The front end is quick to change, and the entry process for those submitting is easy too.

There's not a lot I dislike about Evessio. I think the only thing I've ever had an issue with is sending emails to those registered on the system, as the filters haven't been the best in the past, so it was hard to send an email to people that were only coming to one part of an event. I haven't used this function recently though, so it may not even be an issue anymore!

We wanted to launch a brand new awards event in the company, and to make sure it looked professional while also being easy to use on both the front and back end of the system. The Evessio Awards platform solved these problems as it allows people to enter our awards seamlessly and uniformly. It also allows me to see how many entries we have quickly, in which categories, who has started but not finished and how much revenue we have made from the entries. I can also enroll judges worldwide, as they can simply log in and score the entries wherever they are.

Usability! The platform is designed for all functions within an events team, and is used as the central place for the entire team to manage awards. The tool allows us to collaborate efficiently. Evessio’s customer services is also outstanding – they have an extremely helpful team who will go out there way to assist with queries and issues quickly.

Setting up bespoke or multiple confirmation emails can be a ‘clunky’ process.

Evessio Awards websites are intuitive for both users and administrators, and structurally flexible, so you can make them look great too.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

I honestly can't fault them – with a brilliantly responsive support team, any issues tend to be resolved in no time at all.

**What problems is Evessio Awards solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the entrant, Evessio Awards are allowing us to simplify their experience, which I've no doubt is helping us to increase entry numbers  – and therefore engagement – year on year, even in awards we have run for nearly 20 years.
For us, the standard reporting functions are hugely important, and the bespoke reporting capabilities mean we can analyse entries and entrants much more effectively and productively. 
We probably have a non-standard approach to our final judging, and significant improvements in the Evessio judging functionality in recent years have prompted a number of our judges to congratulate us on how good it is to work with. The flexibility that comes with judging rounds is particularly useful for us.

**What do you like best about Evessio Awards?**

They are flexible and responsive, the customer service is great.  When I'm not sure of something I can email their support line and I get an email back with help often within a few hours.  If something is going to take longer to resolve, they keep me updated.

I also like that the product itself is flexible and adaptable, and I've been able to adapt it to fit what we need to do, even it it's not quite what the product was built for.

**What do you dislike about Evessio Awards?**

Their email notifications could be more sophisticated, this isn't a contact management system, but I've still been able to make it work for me, and then I use my own CMS email system for more complicated things.

**What problems is Evessio Awards solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run several academic symposiums a year, and one in particular has an application process to attend.  We were able to use Evessio's Award management tools, alongside their Event registration/website platform, to manage a significant increase in applications, requiring more people to assist in judging them. 
Their judging rounds were very useful, as we could set different parameters for each round, but also restrict what parts our judges could see to be able to do blind reviewing of applicants.

Following selection, each participant became a "speaker" and was able to populate their own profile for the event.
