Many activities were conducted, questions were asked and research was achieved. **What do you dislike about EventX?** There were not as such downsides that we encountered. The biggest one is in the first session I held, a lot of people cannot get into the session and it is because of a simple issue that it will not work if the browser is not expanded. It took time for us to figure that out. An app version would also be great. There are some tasks that you will still rely on their Dev team like deleting events. Similar to deleting invites. The concept of backstage is also a bit confusing since in the practice session, you can accidentally launch the actual event and if you close it, then it's done, you just have to re-do it again. So why is that feature even there? On the session itself, you can only see one participant, the one that recently raised his/her hand. All others are also muted. It would be better if you have the options for everyone to be open for discussion. So it seems it is designed more for a one-way session than for interaction. Finally, it could have been a complete package if there is an after-session feedback facility available. **Recommendations to others considering EventX:** Try it out first and see if it will meet your requirements. **What problems is EventX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since I have used it once for a session where we were not been able to successfully do it, we just migrated back to Zoom. The main reason why I have tried it is that it is still in the free trial. We are based in China, so the most advantage for us is EventX does not need VPN at all, and they also can receive ticket fee via some Chinese local payment way, such as WeChat Pay and Ali Pay, however, International Credit Card and Bank transfer still remains for all. This makes us confident and much easier to do the international event.
