He has been patient and explains things thoroughly so I can understand best practices and how the software can work specifically for me and my events. The price is phenomenal, and the unlimited amount of events included allows my colleagues to also use Eventene for additional meetings and events throughout our company. Having one central database for attendees, registration, and communication has saved us a lot of time and back-and-forth in the planning process. I've used a few other event planning programs in my career, and I highly recommend Eventene as a great solution for registration, website and app integration and use, and attendee communication. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** The only improvement I would wish for at this time would be that I'd like to be able to customize some push notifications in the app. They have automated ones, but I would add others if I could. Granted, the last app we had where I could do this was MUCH more expensive, so it was a small sacrifice in the grand scheme of changing apps! **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having Eventene has allowed myself and others in our company to use a consistent registration system so our attendees have an easy and familiar experience each time. Collecting and storing information so attendees don't have to repeatedly answer the same questions has also minimized time and frustration during registration. So far, the app has been well-received and seamless during events. In addition, planners being able to update details in ONE place instead of multiple Excel spreadsheets and notifying several people of the changes has saved us so much time and reduced the chances for errors. ### 2. Eventene is really a customer-centric software company. I went with them because of their affordable pricing and all those amazing features even in their $4499 plan. Unlimited events at this subscription price were a total bang for the buck! **What do you dislike about Eventene?** They don't natively integrate with our CRM yet but there is a workaround for this that works but requires a bit of manual work by our event officers. If they were having this integration we could save even more hours. David mentioned that integrations are a work in progress and I trust him :) **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** We organize eCommerce meetups globally and most of our planning was done using different single-purpose tools. It worked well for us until we saw a surge in event numbers (luckily!) and hence saw a need for an event management platform. It helped us and the client's team to save time for more strategic tasks and automate a lot of event components. We like it because of its low price compared and no compromise on advanced features in comparison to other event management software. We need not worry about the cap on events because they have an unlimited events policy which made it really attractive. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** They didn't have a native networking component for our events so we had to schedule meetings via zoom. Additionally, it provides incredibly detailed and comprehensive micro and macro views of event data, which is extremely important to planning successful events in the future. Eventene's ability to create multiple groups, subgroups, add tags to certain people or groups helps keep all contact lists and email communications simple and easy-- it also makes it easy to send communications quickly without worrying about missing someone in the group. The customer support has also been extremely responsive and helpful when I needed assistance with something. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** I have yet to find something that I dislike or find to be difficult to understand. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eventene is solving our problem of having multiple email recipient lists saved in different locations, saves us an immense amount of time in sending targeted communications, and gives us an abundance of event data to work with in order to effectively plan events in the future. ### 8. We used 2-3 vendors before which had pricing based on an 'n' number of factors and made budgeting hard for our operations team. Our team also uses Eventene as their CRM system which definitely wasn't the way we intended to use it :) however, their ability to manage all our contacts in one place worked like a charm. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** A few of our live events require badging services which aren't covered by them. We need to work with 3rd party vendor to achieve those. Their tech lead David does mention that this is high on their priority down the lane though. **Recommendations to others considering Eventene:** For the price point and suite of tools, Eventene provides, it should be definitely on the top of your charts if you're looking for some good savings on your event tech expenses. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a publishing company with a lot of internal and customer-facing events with attendees spanning between 20-400. Eventene proves to be a highly cost-effective solution for us than those big expensive event solutions out in the market. We are able to replace our CRM with Eventene which made the work of the operations and events team a lot more coordinated and a lot of duplication of work is avoided. ### 9. We were also able to ditch multiple subscriptions of email marketing tools, survey tools, etc. It made our lives easier by letting go of plugging and playing data into different tools. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** They have a lot more features than we have ever used for our events so it's hard to say about the overall performance. Getting reports takes a bit of effort as of now and it could have been a bit better. Although those reports are highly detailed you really need to get your head on how it's done! With the increasing number of activities being planned by my organization, the need for specialized event management software was a top priority for the events team. After having demos with a lot of renowned players in the market, Eventene proved to be an ideal choice for us because of it being highly competitively priced (we can do unlimited events) and also providing all the features irrespective of the plans we opted for. Cheers to David for always being an email away for all our queries... :) **What do you dislike about Eventene?** They don't have a native integration but I know it's on the top of their roadmap. However, they do have a workaround for this which works pretty well for us as of now. **Recommendations to others considering Eventene:** They don't have a big team as of now but the quality of their platform is top-notch, from whatever we have experienced. I never thought about this when I first started creating events. I would also recommend setting up a virtual event on Eventene. I learned that they work with any mainstream streaming service like Facebook Live and Zoom but they also have a new kind of virtual conferencing platform that has way more features than Zoom. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** I need to survey my participants during the registration and send invitations and updates occasionally. Their platform has a great registration system that is very customizable and easy to use. I can add info and survey questions in the registration and use that data to manage my contacts and better categorize them into specific activities within my events. I promote my events on my website, social and send email invitations with Eventene all the time. It's great to send an invite to a contact list or a segmented list or even individuals. The email system shows all kinds of tracking so I can see who didn't open the invitation or who had a bad email address. I can quickly make changes and email my contacts for any reason. I typically send invitations, updates and resources. I teach real estate coaching classes and also run a campground resort in AZ. I use Eventene for both of my businesses and I can use it to create any event, simple or complex. I've even used it for virtual events! Overall Eventene helps me with the planning, logistics, and execution of all my events. I collect payments and save money by getting rid of a bunch of different tools for events. Eventene brings it all into one system. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** Nothing at all. Everything I've asked their support about has been developed and they are making some great new improvements. **Recommendations to others considering Eventene:** If you use sign-up tools like Eventbrite, you're losing money on transaction fees and you don't get all of the features that Eventene has. Eventene provides super customizable registration, survey tools, email communication, and tracking features, assignment tools, custom payments, and tons of analytics. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Eventene I used Eventbrite to capture signups and payments on my website but their transaction fee's were really high on their pro plan and they only handled the signup and payment part. I'm saving about $20 per customer with Eventene. I also had to send survey questions to the signups separately. I had to send individual emails to each signup one by one with a link to a google form. Then I had to keep track of all the responses on a spreadsheet and send resources or responses to each customer one by one. Eventene has custom registration with surveys built-in. I can survey each customer easily and send responses on the fly with Eventene. I can also see all of the analytics I need in their track settings. I can see who opened the invitations, or what emails bounced. I can also see who signed up for each activity within an event or who paid what all in track settings. Without Eventene, I had to manage a bunch of different tools that didn't work well together and I often had some problems. Eventene makes all of this organized and convenient. ### 21. Whatever it is that you wish to organise, Eventene is the one for you. We use Eventene to plan and organise events, sports camps, webinars and it is also the portal we use for our annual Membership registration ensuring a streamlined and efficient process. The support we have from the Eventene team is exceptional. Reponse time is super quick and incredibly detailed, explaining exactly what and how to do things - nothing is too much trouble for them. We are now able to keep track of all our events and attendees in a simple and efficient way. There is also the guidance support online which also incredibly helpful. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** Eventene was daunting at first as there is so much to learn and the possibilities are endless - saying that, the support is 5 star and once you understand what Eventene is capable of, it is very exciting! We have been delighted to work with Eventene as they are customer focused, responsive and innovative. David at Eventene helped up build a platform that catered to our membership needs alongside an events portal for our seasonal learning and competition events. We are based in Europe, Eventene navigated challenges of language and time with ease, with super response times. We have been thankful for the dedicated customer service and Eventene demonstrating that they wanted to build a sustainable platform with us that would grown with our organisation. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** As volunteers we were nervous at first about the amount of time we thought would be required and the potential for the system to be complicated. In reality it has been a very successful and simple system to operate. Eventene has a comprehensive onboarding process and included all our key people, addressing all our questions up front - once we completed the onboarding it has been plain sailing and easy to use to set up events, and run the adminstration for them. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eventene streamlined administration and payments for Individual Membership and events. We can see at a glance who is signed up, who is attending events, payment is simple and we can send emails and keep members updated via the platfom. It is a huge administration burden made simple for a small organisation. ### 27. The app is super easy to navigate, and it mirrors the d esktop well, so there's rarely any confusion. I appreciate thte customizations that you can make and the way you can divide things into groups. I love the email function! Being able to directly send emails to a person, group, or class really saves a lot of time. Overall a well done system, great software. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** There could be more permissions and security measures in place. It would also be nice to have incentives for anyone who cancels at a specific time. Electronic signing is another thing I would like to see on the app. Although customers and staff seemed a bit intimadated byit at first, it became like second nature. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** Overall the organizational issues we had have been resolved, and we've gotten payments easier. The workload on the staff has decreased, so that's probably the main benefit. ### 28. It saves me a lot of time with communications. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** I don't have any downsides to Eventene. It is just taking time for all of our members to get used to it. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are saving time with communications (fewer emails). It is also easy to target a specific group of members. ### 29. The user interface is easy to navigate and there are so many layers of options that it can handle any event from start to finish. My favorite part of Eventene is the assignments tab. Weather you are assigning guests to tables, attendees to breakout rooms or even creating carpools, the ease with which I completed this task was amazing. I also loved tracking guest RSVP's with multiple different charts and being able to customize the information displayed for easy export or manipulation. One additional feature that I appreciated was the ability to rank order preferences the guests populate in the invitation. The mobile app is a huge bonus as well. **What do you dislike about Eventene?** I will admit that getting familiar with all the ins and outs and tricks of the software took some time but the customer support was incredible. Once I was comfortable navigating the software, I did not have problems. There could be some improvement on some reports, but I understand the company is working diligently on upgrading those. **What problems is Eventene solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed event software that could handle the invitation, data collection, all communications, RSVP's, table assignments, and post event wrap up. Eventene was able to do all that and more.
