I found the cost setup to be the most ammenable for what we were doing, and the end result is attractive and sleek. (I think it looks more professional than I expected/doesn't let on that I'm not a coder or designer by any means). We had gone back and forth over how to create something like that, knowing we had a small budget and amt of time to devote to it, and I think the final project looks FAR more impactful to our community than I had even hoped for. The UX was extremely easy and friendly. **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** Nothing, really—from the cost to set up to back end of looking at event attendees/ticket purchasers, it's been great. **What problems is EventCreate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a way to sell tickets for an in-person event AND tell people what it is/what to expect. EventCreate was highly intuitive and let me change background images, add as many custom fields as I wanted, and change fonts and colors. The controls behind the scenes for adding and tracking attendees were also very well thought out and easy to use. I would 100% use EventCreate again and would recommend it for anyone! **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** I had a few moments frustration with the default dark transparent overlay on my background image in the custom theme as I was using a large background image as a heading, so I didn't want any transparent overlay on top of it. Having a way to insert a large image as a header would be more straightforward than inserting a background image and then lowering the transparency of the overlay to zero, so I'd love to see that implemented in the future! **What problems is EventCreate solving and how is that benefiting you?** EventCreate gave my event a very polished and well-put-together presentation that helped get people more interested in attending. We are a start-up, and as you can imagine, aesthetics and branding are very important to us; EventCreate has made customization and the overall UI experience exactly what we need for our Metaverse Events! Keep killing it, Event Bright! **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** For our company, active events are a big deal; at times, we can have numerous events and partnered events that make it difficult for us to run multiple RSVP links. We are definitely looking to upgrade into a paid tier (possibly personal + or Business) yet, 3 events or even 10 events is not compelling. Additionally, as the CMO, I have many paid tools in our budget. Allocating for something that has to be paid annually is less compelling to our CEO vs something that can be paid monthly. I would like the option to pay monthly,as currently billing annually. More widely known ticketing platforms charge much more in processing and service fees. EventCreates basic/free offerings are robust with professional looking web designs and plenty of analytics. I upgraded to the next tier to unlock the options for customizing the registration page and use emailing features. I've been impressed by how easy it was to publish our registration site, customize email templates, and use their analytics to track our event's registrations. **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** I had no tutorial on how to use EventCreate so I really had to poke around under every menu or advanced settings link to find all the customization options I could use. **What problems is EventCreate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had no existing budget for our event and thus have to fully fund the event with advanced ticket sales. Keeping the cost low was our top priority-- both the cost to utilize the platform and the cost of processing fees which we knew we would have to pass along to our event guests. There's always depending the season things you'll need, baby showers and birthday themes that I wish they would add. Movie character themes are so easy to do or even generic characters like bee themes, zoo themes, Mexican theme, etc. But overall great selection and thank you for having a blank canvas I could use for making my own. Staying on the free version and not having to pay just for essential ticket-selling functions helps keep our budget lean. Many extras are available, but even what is offered in the free version is the best I've found for event registration. **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** There is a paywall to unlock some features, so you may have to pay if you're doing more than just selling tickets. Additionally, they charge a fee for every transaction and connecting to a bank account for the non-profit was a bit cumbersome. **What problems is EventCreate solving and how is that benefiting you?** EventCreate made it possible for us to sell tickets to our event in advance so that we could have a headcount when purchasing food and other items for the event. ### 32. The interface is super intuitive and natural. It also packs a really decent set of features that although are not available to free users, I could see myself using with a paid subscription. **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** The only downsides are that there's many features blocked behind a pay wall. Even though they do offer a 7-day free trial, I think that a longer trial could be more useful for the type of application this is used. I.e. Most events are created far before than a week, thus making the 7-week trial relatively useless for testing purposes. **What problems is EventCreate solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed a quick way to create an RSVP for an event, as well as track the attendees and send calendar invites. For transparency, I started with the professional membership (which they have a free 7 day trial for) that I wanted to use for some extra features and I find it very clean, professional and organized. There are various templates you can use, and customize further. I was able to add pictures, change font size and text as needed. What I really appreciate about this platform, versus other platforms I looked into, is that you can have an RSVP linked in your event site/advertisement that allows MORE than just a basic name/are you attending option. I have the option to add ADDITIONAL custom questions, such as allergies/dietary restrictions/etc (which was major for me). I also can collect numbers and emails of guests AND send schedulized reminders--JUST what I was looking for. My family is pleased too, so good reviews all around. **What do you dislike about EventCreate?** Can't think of any as of now.
